Some good N64 games not on this list: Quake 2 Quake 64 Dukem Nukem 64 Turok 3 Bangai-O Cruisn Exotica Extreme-G WCW vs NWO Mortal Kombat 4 (just for the fatalities)
Wow out of 100 games I'd probably play about 20 , thank you for helping me realize how poor the Nintendo 64 library aged .... great video though nothing against you! .
You mean how, like i got a Ps5 and xbox but have no desire to play any of the games but i wanna play almost all N64 games at least once. I got like 50 N64 games and 1 ps5 game and like 10 xbox games. Hahahahahah even more to my list is i add Ps1/Ps2 and other systems i got hahahahah
1) Zelda (1 & 2) 2) Pokemon stadium (1&2) 3) Star wars games 4) All rare games 5) All mario games 6) Turok 1 2 & 3 and then you may put other games in the order you like.
Truly do miss the past era of gaming. But I had far more games for the PS1 than I did the N64, PS1 had a much better and larger library of games to choose from.
@raijinthemaster88 owning an N64, I remember being impressed by how many ps1 games were on display at the store compared to n64... and they were way cheaper.
The PC had a much larger library too, but I always preferred N64 games to play with friends. The idea was having a machine to play 3rd party and solo games (the PC) and a console in the TV for local multiplayer, and with this purpose in mind, N64 is the best console ever.
I love trying to guess the top 5. Usually I get 1-2 wrong but this time I got them all :) My personal top 5: -Super Mario 64 -Zelda: OoT -Mario Kart 64 -Goldeneye 007 -Diddy Kong Racing
I get your point... but many forget the amount of content Perfect Dark delivered. The insane customizable multiplayer bots, fun dual func weapons, masterful level design and objectives... it's peak n64 gaming. It's the game I played the most on my n64. Sadly the Xbox 360 sequel ruined the series.
@@JohnnySoCalI've been playing it regularly with my dad since I was 4 years old (I'm 21 now) Have you played the recent fan PC port of Perfect Dark 64?

@@JohnnySoCal Well sure, good to know😊😊👍👍! May I say thinking about N64 as of 2024 also has me thinking about the next awesome future? I will be willing to tell you something about a huge wish I have for the future if you do not mind.

@@aaronferguson3169 That's a little too specific for wishful thinking. I was thinking more in line with what I believe will be on Nintendo's next console. I think this game helped me cure the fear of speed I had as a kid. 10/10 would recommend.
I would say damaging vehicles through spinning in F-Zero is a bad thing. Like, if the game should let you attack other vehicles, put in a weapon systems.
I've played and beaten both Banjo and Starfox 64. The beauty of Starfox is it's amazing level design. It's 'GO' from the start as you frantically take down numerous enemies while discovering new paths to take in ranking up your score. Plus, the story evolves by which path/route you take.

Yoshi's Story! I have to be honest here I really like cartoony games, and Nintendo even nowadays has that mastered. I really don't like the games where they're trying to make the characters and scenery look "real" in modern gaming. Well.. that and the Woke LGBTQ+ stuff they've been coming out with. Mind you there IS a market 'niche' for that material however I'm not in that category. I stopped modern games due to that stuff, and DLC, and the greedy game companies a lot of times releasing games that aren't even finished yet requiring patches and so forth. The online aspect is also a turn off for me. I like the physical releases that I can keep as my own, and online games when they're expired you can't play them anymore after hours upon hours of gameplay. If there's no replayability like there is with say... the N64 for example I'm not spending money on it, and with all the money one spends on DLC's I would expect to be able to keep the game and replay it possibly in the far future... again like the N64. You just can't do that with these games created specifically for online. If that's the future of gaming I'm not on board for that. There always has be some some kind of Woke "agenda" attached to many modern games out there and I just don't swing that way. That's not my bag, baby! I play games to be entertained not preached to. If I want to hear a preacher I go to church, and I do go to church! Obviously these game developers can do whatever they want but that doesn't mean I have to buy their material, and I don't. In any event I love your list, bud. I miss this time era to be honest. Not just the N64 but everything from that generation, however it could be because that's what I grew up with. Thank you for this time machine, man. It means a lot to me. Take care now....
