Sacrifices is an understatement. To be successful you need decent equipment at an affordable price that can get the job done. Reduce expenses at home. Most owner ops are going out of business because on top of a bad market, expensive fuel and the cost to run a truck. They still have a mortgage, kids n more bills at home. I'm surviving because I have very low expenses at home otherwise I'll be out of business. You are no rookie my brother you understood the game.
***If you are a new driver stay company for 6 months to a year and if you are a company driver before you jump in to go buy a truck make a plan ,a long term plan do a lease for a couple months at a mega carrier. Least but not last you need capital or a decent line of credit for repairs***
Facts what you wrote literally was the purpose of this video! Thank you for summarizing this up perfectly!!!
@@TruckingTransparencyIf I didn’t increase my overhead with purchasing my WBHC I’d be straight, but it’s gone take a little more time on my end too & save. Keep doing ya thang 💯

💯 your welcome bro 💯💯
Keep going bro I fw the vids💯💯💯
Thanks bro 🤘🏽🤘🏽
I like the content. Keep going! However, the title is misleading. It takes time(years) to become a successful owner op. A rookie owner op at 25 is more accurate and the truth.
Most companies fail within the two years. Success is definitely a testament to time and patience.
Keep going brother this was real motivation for me. Just moved back into my family’s home about 2 weeks and now saving up to get my own truck. I’m 26 and completely felt this video 💯
Goodluck bro!! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Yessir I got my truck from the same spot highly recommend!
100%
Hey Man stumbled on your channel and glad I did. You definitely motivated me man. I’ve been on my local job for twenty years. Just bought my first truck 2017 Freightliner paid in full. Now trying to become a owner operator. Definitely good to hear positive feedback about being a owner operator. Be safe and keep Grinding

@@klajdikaca994 why what
@@texassfinest114 hey man what do you do and are you from Texas?
@@michaelramirez3022 I’m a truck driver
My brother don't worry about what the haters think or say do you it's about your success keep it moving and get Dat 🛍️💰 big up everytime the brother from Southside PS.Masa was Kool I uses to drive for them lol
Lol facts
Can you explain the benefits to leasing on with other carriers. Ive looked into this and find they're just a dispatch service pretty much. You're paying your own insurance, fuel, tolls, repairs etc. Why not just pay the 300 and get your own MC at this point?
Man I’m getting back in my own truck next month. 26 yrs old and 5 yrs exp. I hope I can be making videos in the next year.
Big ups to you
Thank you
what's up brother keep the content rolling !!! But I'm 21 finically stable and looking to get into the truck world I already have my permit what step should I take next cdl school or just go to a company with training to get my cdl?
I would say cdl school …that way you have freedom to go wherever u want & leave when u want
Do you think you can do a monthly profit and lost video? To go over your numbers for the whole month.
How was the approval process with Loan Mountain?😊
How do you find your loads, or are you leased onto a company? Thanks
I’m trying to get my cdl! I’ll have enough to go to school in 2 months looking forward to getting my license
Word goodluck with everything!

I'm 18 and I haven't started truck driving school yet, but I think I'm interested in this occupation. I'm still confused as to how this owner/operator thing works. So did you buy some land in a random open spot in your city and come up with a business name and logo and everything? And how do you get paid? Who pays you and how much do you make?
I think when he means owner/operator he means he has his own truck and gets his own routes
How much did you save? How much did you put down on your truck? I will go through Loan Mountain I’m in Texas
I just past my general knowledge airbrake, I have to go back for a combination
Goodluck bro !
Was it hard? How did you prepare fir the test fam? I’m currently studying and it’s alot to process
