  • How to successfully install macOS El Capitan with Internet Recovery mode, avoiding the error caused by a built-in expiry date. You can start from having the "no packages were eligible" error on screen and still recover, which saves you having to DOWNLOAD the installer all over again. Updated version.
    Fixes the "install failed" and "No packages were eligible for install" error while installing macOS El Capitan with Internet Recovery by setting the date back to the year 2015 with a quick Terminal command. PLEASE HAVE A BACKUP BEFORE FOLLOWING THIS PROCEDURE.
