Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for the overwhelming support on this video!! Interstellar had a profound impact on me - it not only changed the way I look at films, but the way I look at life (I know that sounds dramatic, but it’s true 😅). But a lot of you have been asking: “what’s next?” I think I want to go on a bit of a Christopher Nolan binge so I’ve decided my next reaction will be BATMAN BEGINS!!! The video will be live on Wednesday the 24th! Hope to see you all then!
Fantastic news! Nolan's entire filmography is brilliant from start to finish. Not just his Batman trilogy, but even his lesser-known works like The Prestige, or his earlier indie-films like Memento. Excited to see you experience more of his unique brand of storytelling! :)
I don't know what movies you've seen before, but after you watch the Nolan movies (always amazing), I would recommend How to Train your Dragon, if you haven't seen it already. Particularly since you focused on the music so much - HTTYD's soundtrack (along with absolutely everything else) is incredible through all three films of the trilogy. But if you have seen them, then I guess you already know that :)

I love your emphasis on the music and how it affected your experience. This film for me is maybe the best example of how music and sound design can turn a really great film into a full on Masterpiece. It's just incredible.
@@LiteWeightReacting The music hits on another level... it just fits perfectly. Please watch / listen to "Hans Zimmer - Interstellar Organ Suite (Salisbury Cathedral Organ)" ! Breathtaking experience.
@LiteWeightReacting I recommend the following behind the scenes; still gives me goosebumps every time I hear those haunting single notes and the “breaths” from the pipe organ: ruclips.net/video/L_8t2VlwK4w/видео.html
Yeah, while being AI driven robots, I think it was established their minds were actual copies of Marines that have died before the start of the movie. So the humanity they once have pokes through the AI framework from time to time during the movie in specific situations like this one and the docking.
@@akselmani When "interrogated" at NASA, Cooper fires back: "I have Grunts like you mowing my grass !". And upon (later) learning that TARS had initiatively pre-disabled the Auto-Docking, when they arrived at Miller's Planet: (Cooper): "What was your Trust Setting ?" (TARS): "Lower than Yours, Apparently !" I loved this movie at first; The more people reactions I watch, the More I love it.
I love the change in the relationship between Cooper and TARS. When they first meet there’s so much antagonism between them, and by the end they are like best friends, looking out for each other. I really love that aspect of the movie. And everything else about it too!
Nobody really thinks about the perspective of Romilly during the movie, which if you ask me is one of the saddest: He has been living his whole life learning, probably even during the period where people started to change the content of books, as that teacher was saying in the start of the movie. Probably ousted by the rest of the community and family he had left, due to not wanting to be a farmer and not contributing to this "new world" they live in. He became an astronaut, survived 23 years on his own in the dead mute space on the other side of the universe not knowing if his colleagues one of which is the pilot will ever get back. Then he got into the trap Dr. Mann set, and died without seeing they actually succeeded their mission, but knowing Mann changed the data and this planet being uninhabitable.
@@LiteWeightReacting He does state that he slept for some "stretches" (though it's not clear how long they were for), but his food wouldn't have lasted that entire time (though that wasn't really addressed by the writers), so it wasn't the full 23 years (though he does appear to have aged a good deal). Still. it was long enough to have become a shadow of the man they left when descending down into Miller's planet.
Also, Rom could have turned on the autopilot and returned to Earth at any point in time during those 23 years. Edit: unless the ship/TARS had a setting to prevent anyone from turning the ship around as long as the Lazarus project still was viable.
Not to mention he was also the crew member that had the most problems with being up in space, he didn't like the idea of there being nothing just outside the thin sheets of metal that make up the ship, and the spinning makes him sick. He had to spend 23 years dealing with that alone.
I have decided that this is my second favourite movie after Blade Runner. However, I could be persuaded otherwise, and it is actually the best, it certainly has the best music - the organ is fantastic.
"How does a song sound so hopeful and so heartbreaking at the same time?" There's actually a wonderful answer to this exact question: when composing this main theme, composer Hans Zimmer started with a simple, hopeful melody that captured the essence of a loving father-daughter relationship. But then he built the rest of the chords/instrumentation around that melody to convey a sense of cosmic vastness, loneliness, and isolation, like a probe or spaceship floating among the infinite blackness. And so the finished song conveys both Cooper's deep love for his daughter, but also the vast distance between them. Wonderful reactions! :)
Matthew McConaughey is the butt of a lot of jokes and memes but his dramatic roles have never missed for me. This movie gave me so much respect for him as an actor. Mud was also amazing if you want to see him kill another dramatic role.
Dude and he was phenomenal in True Detective! He is no joke! I think his role in Interstellar might’ve been his best work. When he’s watching the videos and the smile goes to crying… ugh! So FUCKING good
This movie is one of the greatest movies of all time. Hans Zimmer and Christopher Nolan are always an amazing combination. So happy to see you doing movie reactions. This is the best movie you could have started off with.
@@LiteWeightReacting Absolutely no bias there, I've seen plenty of films after this one and Interstellar still takes the cake. I won't say it'll ruin your perception of movies now on, but you'll definitely find yourself subconsciously comparing its elements to other movies without realizing lol
Oh Matthew’s reaction to his kids video footage was actually genuine! They had him sit down not knowing what he was gonna see or hear. He immersed himself in that character soo well his tears were basically real
This reaction was the same one I had. This is my favorite movie of all time. I've seen it probably 8 or 9 times now and I cry every single time at multiple scenes. Everything about this movie is so beautifully and perfect portrayed. Matthew's acting in this movie is so unmatched. His reaction in watching the videos from his kids is top 5 most moving scenes I've ever witnessed. Was crying right along with you. You've got a great heart and picked up on so many details, like Brand touching Roms face after 23 years, I love this whole reaction. Thank you❤️
Thank you for commenting 😊 The part you mentioned about Beand touching Roms face definitely was good! I think I noticed that because it seemed like Rom wanted to embrace cooper when he walked by but cooper didn’t stop! So well done!
One thing I only just realized the movie glossed over is how great Amelia's heartbreak must be when she finally makes it to Edmunds' planet. Remember - due to the lack of contact and time dilation, by the time she's out of Gargantua's gravity well she has no idea if any human beings are still alive on Earth, and all her crewmates are gone. The _only_ other human being she knows of that might still be alive is Wolf Edmunds, her lover - but after what was probably a few years alone of just limping there in a wrecked spacecraft, she only finds his body inside a deserted wreck. From her perspective, she is the last of us, stranded on the far side of the universe. With the frozen embryos and her faithful AI at her side, she has become Eve. Thankfully, a new Adam rejoined her in only a few more years (and that reawakening would have put Mann's to shame).
The most emotionally jaw-dropping movie I have ever seen and it made me cry so much😭... I absolutely love the visuals, acting and the music, also seeing this on the big cinema screen in 2014 is still the best movie experience I have. Hans Zimmer's best soundtrack in my opinion. I loved your reaction and it made me cry again 🥲😭🧡!
"I'm drawn across the universe to someone I haven't seen in a decade, who I know is probably dead. Love is the one thing we're capable of perceiving that transcends dimensions of time and space. Maybe we should trust that, even if we can't understand it." when brand says this at beginning you see cooper doesn't agree with. but then in the teseract you can say it was love that connected those cooper and his daughter via the bookshelves.
I saw about ten reactions of this movie and your reaction is closer to mine.So many tears,so many times. And the main reason is Hans Zimmer's stunning music.
@@raze956 pretty personal question but the best way for me to sum it up is: I'm attracted to women that will never be attracted to me. Instead of dwelling on what ifs and day dreaming, I decided in my 30's to just forego relationships and focus on being happy w/o children/family life. It still sucks some days but it is what it is; I'm just happy to be alive and experience reality as the apex predator of this planet, also blessed to be able to live in a 1st world country even though I was born in abject poverty into a 3rd world country.
At 17:37, yes thats a clock ticking I guess at roughly 1.25 seconds, and that has a huge significance. Each tick(1.25s) on the miller's planet is equal to a day passed on earth! Talk about attention to detail, Chris Nolan is one of the greatest directors for a reason!! Waves and tides are caused by gravitational pull, for earth it is because of the sun and the moon. Reason for those overly gigantic waves are due to the enormous gravitational pull of the black hole
It’s even more interesting when you consider that Miller’s planet would be tidally locked to Gargantua because of its proximity to the latter’s gravity well; it’s the same phenomenon readily observed much closer to home, where the Moon is tidally locked to Earth and why we permanently only see one side of it. The enormous gravity of the Black Hole would pull the entire ocean up into those absurdly huge waves, but they would actually be stationary so to speak, and because of the planet’s own rotation you would be effectively the one actually moving towards them at the speed they were appearing to approach you, but as you can’t perceive your motion as the planet you’re stood on rotates, it would give the illusion that the waves are moving towards you! It made me think about the effect of tidal heating would have on such a planet existing close enough to the event horizon of a Black Hole to cause such extreme time dilation.; I would imagine the constant stress and strain of expansion and contraction that would be exerted on it would cause volcanism and quakes on a magnitude much greater than any experienced on Earth, or even a global ocean of lava! Maybe it is going through this process,, but in super slow motion to an outside observer because of the time dilation? Things like this have always fascinated me. :D
As a parent of two kids, now adults, I know. Such a great film. Christopher Nolan and Hans Zimmer...just amazing. For all of the pain... hope. Great reaction. Matt Damon as a bad guy: "The Departed"
@@LiteWeightReacting , winner of four Oscars (Best Picture, Director, Adapted Screenplay, and Editing). Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson, Mark Wahlberg, and Martin Sheen. So, yes...it's worthy of a reaction.
it is refreshing and amazing that your reactions were honest and the movie meant a lot to you. There are too many "reactions" on youtube where I don't even think they *have* emotions. You're genuine and a true movie lover. Subscribing rn :)
Nolan *is* the greatest director of our time and has the potential to be the greatest of all time, certainly in the coming years. What's amazing about this movie is that it's not only beautifully directed and such an impactful story but also very scientifically accurate, where it can be. Nolan was very adamant that the science had to be right. Theoretical physicist Kip Thorne was the science consultant for the movie and even wrote a book about it called "The Science of Interstellar". I suggest looking into behind the scenes stuff especially about the black hole, believe it or not it was not just an artistic depiction of a black hole, the entire render is a simulation based on real physics. This movie predicted what black holes would look like, there's even peer reviewed scientific papers about it, it wasn't until a few years later that there was an actual image taken of a black hole and it was extremely accurate. I don't know about any other movie that has published scientific papers in real science journals about it. This is one of those few movies where the behind the scenes stuff is worth looking in to.
I just got a collectors edition version of the movie that comes with a ton of special features and extras about the making of the movie! Can’t wait to check it out!
First reaction? You followed the story, your takes were spot on, you noticed how the music complemented the visuals, and you got every emotion right. You did an excellent job. I guess it's my first time subscribing to a channel after just one video. I can't wait for your next one. And I wish you the best.
Comments like this never fail to make my day better! Thank you so much for sharing this. I feel like being the parent of a young child, this movie was made to absolutely crush me in the best possible way 🤣
" You followed the story, your takes were spot on, you noticed how the music complemented the visuals, and you got every emotion right." Aka: Not the first time watching. XD. They have a Throne account. This channel is here for scams and LiteWeight is a gaslighter with a script.
I'm sure someone has mentioned this already, but the ticking sound on Miller's planet happens every 1.25 seconds, signalling a full day on earth passing on every tick
Trivia fact: If you listen to the background music when they landed on the water world, you can heat ticking every 1.25 seconds. Every tick represents a whole day passing on Earth. Time dilation is the trippiest thing.
My oldest is my daughter and I've told her I think of her like Murphy. She's a major in the Air Force and manages F-35s and such. :) Watching this movie always makes me think of her.
This is one of the most genuine and heartfelt reactions I’ve EVER seen. I haven’t subscribed, but you have a new subscriber. You are empathic and caught onto so many elements and what was happening way before most people. I agree it’s a masterpiece and I knew right away you had a child or stepchild because you couldn’t understand how he could leave. It’s a hard thing to think on, but most of our veterans have a similar choice (minus time condensation), that they leave them and they don’t know if they’re coming back or exactly how long it will be. GREAT reaction, and I think the reaction is 100% applicable and not rambling. Great job!
I have never seen someone being so emotional for this masterpiece of a movie. Love your reaction. 😇 i am always crying, again and again, too. So damn good!
Interstellar remains to this day my favorite film from Nolan (amid a TON of masterpieces of his). Really hope you have Inception and Oppenheimer on the docket for future reactions. I saw you comment that you wanted to start the Nolan Batman Trilogy, and that's a great choice too! Been following your gaming channel for a couple of years, and I'm so excited for this new journey through film reactions!
Oppenheimer might’ve toppled this movie for me just due to the really creative thematic parallels. !SPOILERS BELOW! Only after watching a certain reaction on Oppenheimer did I realize: the part at the beginning with him poisoning the apple, then regretting it the next morning, directly mirrors how his feelings change on the A bomb. Also the way he has children then gives them up, or the way that he promises Jean that he will always be there for her, then he realizes that’s not possible anymore. At his heart, he was impulsive, he did things without thinking. He did things not realizing the responsibility it would place on him later.
As a father...a divorced father, with 2 kids I love more than life itself, this movie hits so hard. The lost time, the lost moments, the love for your children and how you'll do anything for them.
In a movie full of mind-blowing special effects and ambitious sci-fi concepts, the most powerful scenes are still the simplest ones: Cooper sitting in front of a screen, crying, watching his children grow up in time lapse, and Cooper talking to his daughter on her deathbed.
I watched this in theaters - alone. Alone! God the emotions I went through. Now some of the highlights of my years are showing people who haven't seen this movie. It's the closest I can get to watching it again for the first time. Good reaction
"This movie is a fucking masterpiece." Yup, 100%. Despite the rave reviews, it's underrated in my opinion. Unfortunately, it's just beyond some. Also a parent and this movie just fucking wrecks me.
This movie is extremely good, and for each of you who are parents, you know very well the tears in your eyes when you see the end of the movie are not about the movie but about thinking what it would have been with your own children. Christopher Nolan always goes beyond to deliver, but this one is at another level. Well done.
Honestly one of the best reactions to this movie I have seen. Your real asset is that you are articulate and most importantly you didn't miss a single beat in the story. You're very emotive and your feelings play across your face very well. You will go far. You'd make a fantastic actress.
Everything about this movie is amazing. It’s a great movie but the way Hans Zimmer wrote the soundtrack legitimately makes everything so much more impactful. My favorite movie by a mile. Great reaction
Thank you PhotonBread! You hit the nail on the head. Hans Zimmers score amplifies every single moment in this movie. Not just the big scenes either. For example, when cooper first learns of NASA and the organ kicks in while exploring the nasa station… it’s perfect!
They recorded the organ song in a small church in London, they had to record at night so that the noise of the cars could not be heard, one day there was a storm while they were recording, Hans Zimmer liked it and left the sound of thunder in the song, if you watch the movie and listen carefully you can hear it in the background
I don't know the name of the song, but if you search a little it won't be difficult to find it, sorry. Zimmer told that story in an interview, he even told you what the church was and what it was called.
I have always looked reactions , but this has to be the first one I have fully watched and engaged! The original blight videos, where they were actually real, was good little history to learn And your genuine reactions to what I knew was coming was amazing! If you take suggestions and love Hanz Zimmer - Inception or Black Hawk Down
I always feel connected when I see someone react to this masterpiece the way I do. I am sure there is a good soul living in you. Thank you for sharing these emotional moments.
I first saw this on the plane going on honeymoon. My wife and I were struggling not to cry. Watching it now as a parent, as you said, hits that much harder now. And being a father who has a daughter, takes it to another level again. I’ve hugged my daughter even more since watching this again.
I’m so glad you enjoyed this movie so much. It’s one of my favorites!! I don’t have kids but the part where he is looking through all the old video logs still hurt me. So I can’t even imagine how much more you felt it. I want to HIGHLY recommend Arrival if you haven’t seen it. That too is a really good movie and also a sci-fi thriller.
Ok your reaction was so perfect. You have an amazing soul. You understood and felt the emotional points right on the money. I've watched this movie 6 times and it hits me hard everytime. You picked up on the music, and the multi emotions of it... to watch you feel everything that I felt when I first watched it made me cry again today. Now we know that love can travel through space and time. This movie should have won Best Picture . You get Best Reaction Award for this movie hands down. 💐
I so enjoyed your reaction to Intersteller! Your attention to the details of the movie from the musical score, acting and story line make for both an entertaining and interesting movie watching experience. I can say you have noticed things that I have missed before.
Did you go to the showing? Your reaction to this is friggin PHENOMENAL! And you're absolutely right: being a parent and watching this film... man, it hits different, though!

I love you. My favorite movie and you made it even better with your lovely reaction. Your descriptions in the end were so good, it resonated so much with me.
I saw this in theaters when it first came out and it was the only time I’ve witnessed an ovation at the end. Also, it’s surprising to hear you talk about the score. Most just say how mind blowing it was but I think the score was one of the best parts.
One part that always gets me(that is often overlooked) is when they return from millers planet with the waves Romily reaches out for a hug/handshake or some form of human touch but he is so awkward about it, as if in being alone for 23 years he has forgotten how to do such things and Coop just walks right past him obviously more concerned about his family. Makes me sad, someone give that man a hug!
What a fantastic choice for your first reaction. Movie reaction channels are my favorite RUclips content so I was overjoyed to see you start. I loved your perspective on this movie! Can't wait to see what's next 😁
I’ve seen Hans Zimmer live 3 times and I cannot tell you how incredibly powerful it is live, I ugly cried all 3 times. I could not recommend going to see his live show enough
Great reaction to an awesome film. I may have cried more during your reaction than I did watching the movie itself 😂 I loved that the shots in space were silent and wish more movies / tv shows did that as well. The score is just unbelievable good. The movie as a whole is an emotional roller coaster. Looking forward to more!
Props to Zimmer for using what I consider to be the greatest instrument of all time (pipe organ: which can be the size of a whole building) to represent the greatest power we know of in the universe (a black hole). It’s just… brilliant.
Loved your reaction so much! I've been following your gaming channel for a while now (mostly for Mass Effect lol) and its fantastic that you start off your reaction channel with such a great movie. Thank you for reacting to Interstellar. This is one of the best reactions to this movie I've seen. Just curious, What happened to you for 23 years? How were you alone for that long?
If you ever get a chance to see it in a cinema, DO IT! The "docking scene" is one of the most incredible scenes I have ever seen in 40+ years of watching movies. The visuals and THAT music thumping out of the speakers in the auditorium, I'll never forget it. One of the most incredible pieces of music in a film ever. I LOVE this film so much I could talk for hours about it. Even just watching reactions to it is a joy. And yes, I cry, a lot, EVERY SINGLE TIME. A masterpiece and Nolan's best film imo.
I felt very similarly the first time I watched this. I was messed up for like a week lol. The main theme from the soundtrack would pop into my head and I’d start tearing up 😭
You F'n nailed this! I've watched your reaction in lieu of the film at least half a dozen times because your conclusions are superb! Your expressions and body language are real. Thank you. :)
17:37 You're so good that realized it.. Yes Clock ticking.. You know what it means? .. Every ticking means 1 day passed on earth.. Nolan did this on purpose.. If you count all tickings you'll see that is almost 23 years on Earth.. 365 x 23 = 8,395 ticking.. Amazing detail..
I was trying to think of how many reactions I have watched for this film, but it is many, and yours is by far my favorite of all. You are so engaged, focused, immersed and enthusiastic about the experience, and it makes your videos such a unique pleasure to watch. Your combination of personality characteristics make you an ideal film reactor, a role that revitalizes and enhances the experience of what contributes so much inspiration and joy to life: the arts and entertainment. And we need those qualities perhaps now more than ever. I am very happy that you have created this channel, and I am excited to see your future videos. Thank you.
Im 48 year old guy and big film fan. This film killed me. I cant control my emotions. The music sends you into such feelings and its all because of the experience watching it. Great, great film. Amazing reaction .
I watched it before being a parent and I can confirm, it definetely hits me way harder now that I am one. On a side note, Hans Zimmer was completely oblivious about Interstellar's plot. He shared that the soundratck started with Nolan sending him a letter with a beautiful small story about father and daughter. He asked Hans to write a song about it. Hans composed a "fragile little piece" about his son, to which Nolan reacted "I'd better start working on the movie then" Once Nolan explained the plot, Hans said "but this is such a tiny little... personal thing". Nolan: "I know where the heart of the movie is now". The essence of father/daughter bond is what drives this space odissey throughout the whole movie. It's a genious foresight from Nolan's part and excelent adaptation of the concept from Hans's. I can't think of a movie that's set the bar so high on the past 20 years.
You’re exactly right! I recently watched “The Making of the Music of Interstellar” and I cried all over again lol I thought I was getting a movie about space and what I got was a movie about the bond and love between parent and child. AMAZING
Planets can orbit black holes and not fall in. Gravity isn’t like a vacuum cleaner. It’s a warping of space/time that results in curvatures. Basically, the Sun warps space around it, and planets travel forward along that curve. It’s the same with a black hole. If it’s outside the event horizon, there’s no reason why a planet can’t keep orbiting and not fall in. For an imprecise visual, put a bowling ball on a mattress and roll a marble around it. Yes, the marble will eventually hit the ball, but only because of friction
Hanz Zimmer is a legit genuis tbh. He'll go down in history as one of the great composers of all time. Your acknowledgement of his score warms my heart 🎼🎵🎶
Absolutely Epic movie! One of the best scores I've ever heard! Great review and don't worry, I was a blubbering mess through the whole experience and completely loved TARS and CASE. ❤
It took me years to figure out, but "You told them I liked farming?" Was the subtle nudge of a daughter's joke to let her father know she had forgiven him. The way they both laugh at it in the end is what really sells the point.
you are by far one of the best reaction channels i have found. you have such a genuine reaction to everthing and it makes watching/ listening to you so great. keep up the good work.
I watch this movie at least once or twice a year, and every other YT reaction to it. Certain scenes still give me goosebumps even after seeing it so many times. I do wish I'm able to get to experience it all over again for the first time though! I remember when it came out in 2014, knowing almost nothing about it other than Christopher Nolan directing and Matthew Mcconaughey starring, saw it on IMAX and was blown away.
Christopher Nolan is the greatest filmmaker of our time. He insists on owning every step of the process. From writing to casting, directing, producing, post production. Every phase has a part to play in bringing his vision to life. I think the best word to describe his movies is "Complete." Complete in the sense that every second of the final product has a reason for existing. I've been going back and forth for years on whether Interstellar or Inception is my favorite Nolan film. If you want to see some of his earlier work though, I highly recommend Memento.
Inception!!!!
But if you have seen them, then I guess you already know that :)

ive always loved tars trying to save romily, the desperation in his robo voice
And when he says “romily did not survive” there was so much sadness!
@@LiteWeightReacting”I could not save him” :( Romily deserved so much better.
And upon (later) learning that TARS had initiatively pre-disabled the Auto-Docking, when they arrived at Miller's Planet:
(Cooper): "What was your Trust Setting ?"
(TARS): "Lower than Yours, Apparently !"
I loved this movie at first; The more people reactions I watch, the More I love it.
I love the change in the relationship between Cooper and TARS. When they first meet there’s so much antagonism between them, and by the end they are like best friends, looking out for each other. I really love that aspect of the movie.
And everything else about it too!
Nobody really thinks about the perspective of Romilly during the movie, which if you ask me is one of the saddest:
He has been living his whole life learning, probably even during the period where people started to change the content of books, as that teacher was saying in the start of the movie.
Rom’s story is just as tragic as Coopers! If not more so! Imagine being locked alone for 23 years!
There's a saying out there that Nolan's movies are not emotional. They could not be more wrong... and this reaction is solid proof.

Incredible comment! Thanks for sharing 😊
One of the biggest Oscar snub of all time was Hans Zimmer not winning for Interstellar. Interstellar OST is for me is the Greatest Of All time.
10:40 Murph's voice breaking when she says "it says STAY dad" kills me everytime!
Fun fact: that ticking noise heard while they're on Miller's planet is an indication of an entire day going by according to Earth's clock.
Yup, cool detail
Matthew McConaughey is the butt of a lot of jokes and memes but his dramatic roles have never missed for me. This movie gave me so much respect for him as an actor. Mud was also amazing if you want to see him kill another dramatic role.
Dude and he was phenomenal in True Detective! He is no joke! I think his role in Interstellar might’ve been his best work. When he’s watching the videos and the smile goes to crying… ugh! So FUCKING good
Thata boy! 🤜
He was also stellar (no pun intended) in Dallas Buyers Club, for which he won an Oscar for Best Actor
he's underrated
I didn't know he was the butt of many jokes. Why?
The role that cemented him as one of the best living actors to me is True Detective.
This movie is one of the greatest movies of all time. Hans Zimmer and Christopher Nolan are always an amazing combination. So happy to see you doing movie reactions. This is the best movie you could have started off with.
I honestly think, and it may be recency bias, that this could be the best movie I’ve ever seen!

Cooper: - Those are not mountains.... those are waves!
LiteWeight Reacting: - 😳
I have watched Hans Zimmer and his Orchestra playing Interstellar LIVE! The experience of it is something I’ll be taking to my grave❤️🔥🙌🏻

@@iamsh4r106 only 60% of men ever have children, and that is a relatively old statistic.

@@raze956 pretty personal question but the best way for me to sum it up is: I'm attracted to women that will never be attracted to me.

Ah that does make a lot of sense with the waves! Love that they added the clock!
@@ianjames1754 yes I totally get your point and it's damn interesting! Physics and astronomy is just beautiful man!
Correct. Approx every 1.4 seconds is a day on earth, which when drawn out equals approx 7.05 years.

I'm sure someone has mentioned this already, but the ticking sound on Miller's planet happens every 1.25 seconds, signalling a full day on earth passing on every tick
Whoa! Awesome
That gives me chills.
This has become such a common fact about the movie that it's on par with Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn), breaking his toe in that one scene.
Trivia fact: If you listen to the background music when they landed on the water world, you can heat ticking every 1.25 seconds. Every tick represents a whole day passing on Earth. Time dilation is the trippiest thing.

@baliri which track? No Time For Caution?
I don't know the name of the song, but if you search a little it won't be difficult to find it, sorry. Zimmer told that story in an interview, he even told you what the church was and what it was called.

What a fantastic choice for your first reaction. Movie reaction channels are my favorite RUclips content so I was overjoyed to see you start. I loved your perspective on this movie! Can't wait to see what's next 😁
Thanks for the comment and I’m glad you enjoyed the reaction 😊 Most likely what’s next is the Batman trilogy and/or inception!
I’ve seen Hans Zimmer live 3 times and I cannot tell you how incredibly powerful it is live, I ugly cried all 3 times. I could not recommend going to see his live show enough
I need him to your in the US!
@@LiteWeightReacting I think he’s done in the past so fingers crossed for you that he does again! Great reaction video 😊
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed the reaction 😊 Batman trilogy is next! Hope you’ll join me on the journey!
The scene where Cooper docks during the spin.. the score is so insane there. This whole movie is just a masterpiece, it never fails to impress me.
I am excited to see you react to more Nolan films on this channel, and I want you to know that this movie was my whole personality for years so it's a completely normal thing to do 😅
That’s so awesome! Thanks for sharing. I think next will be the Batman trilogy! Or maybe inception? I haven’t decided yet!
Here we go, very excited😄 Always loved your reactions and how invested you get in the games you play so no doubt these won't be any different :) Most movies are gonna be first-time watches for me as well that I might not see otherwise, so I love that I can experience them with you!
Okay great! Also, I’m working on uploading the full videos to Pateon.
Hey Lite! We have watched your gaming channel for years, so glad you made a reaction channel. I think you will be a perfect fit!

One of the most memorable IMAX experiences!
I love when he left, you just had tears. No comment, no smart words, just feelings. The feelings at the messages, i cried for the millionth times with you seeing this movie. I had the same breakdowns as you and ever will seeing this movie. I am looking forward to live through more reactions with you. You`re a good person. Thank you for letting us be a part of your ractions yourney.
Subscribed.
Thank you for reacting to Interstellar. This is one of the best reactions to this movie I've seen. Just curious, What happened to you for 23 years? How were you alone for that long?
I’m so glad you enjoyed the reaction!!! And I lived under a rock to have not seen this sooner!
Oh so we're starting the channel with depression. 😂😂😂
She started off with a big gun.
I really thought this was gunna be a space movie! I was so wrong haha
A masterpiece and Nolan's best film imo.
often times I think about Romilly, he waited 23 years, 4 months and 8 days for them to comback, thats so sad, a very lonely existence
His story is so deeply sad!
I saw Hans Zimmer live at the o2 in London last year. The Interstellar piece was absolutely astonishing live.
Thank you.
One of the Greatest movies ever made!! That Hans Zimmer score was absolutely legendary!! Masterpiece!!!
The best of the best!!!
For me as a father of a daughter and a son it the best movie ever made.
Interstellar has one of the greatest OST ever made
Im 48 year old guy and big film fan.
Hans composed a "fragile little piece" about his son, to which Nolan reacted "I'd better start working on the movie then"
Once Nolan explained the plot, Hans said "but this is such a tiny little... personal thing".
Oh I didn’t realize that was the jokes intention!
you are by far one of the best reaction channels i have found. you have such a genuine reaction to everthing and it makes watching/ listening to you so great. keep up the good work.
The thing about Interstellar is just that is getting better after each time you watch it
A miilion times yes! I’m beginning to understand that is most Nolan movies!
Just crazy to think that everytime you hear that click sound in that water planet, single day has passed on Earth. Every 1.25 seconds
So nice to see someone who authentically just broke down and allowed the grief and vulnerability...... great job. ❤❤
that "listen" transition @ 31:11 was nice
