Great job everybody 👏

All these replies are really arrogant. Yes, practice is required as with anything that takes learning, but talent is always a factor involved as well. You can practice 8 hours a day your whole life but if you're practicing the wrong way then you're never gonna learn. It's not just about practicing all the time. It's about having the intuition to immediately pick up on your mistakes and flaws, and keep them in mind while being aware of your body, your instrument, and your surroundings, while at the same time trying to concentrate on what you're doing. That takes some degree of talent and is generally what people mean when they refer to talent. So can we please stop the circlejerking that achieving a professional level of performance is solely about practicing and nothing else? Thanks.
