I'm wondering how much you might to planer off the top to get it somewhat usable. Rather the reset all the vise mortise and just use the top somewhat cleaned up.
Yeah that’s exactly what I would do if a hundred school kids hadn’t hammered a million small nails into it. So many nails it could be used as a welders bench!!
@@CaptainofmyShed yes I agree if it was going as a show piece somewhere but if you wand a quality work bench to make quality future projects I would fit new.
Beauty is as they say in the eye of the beholder. I admire your vision I'm sure you'll make it look fantastic
Looks like a great project. Enjoy :-)
Yeah it has inspired me!
Really enjoying your content.
Thanks very much! I appreciate the comment!
Nice can't wait to see how it will look.
Episode three will be the end result and I can’t wait myself!

Just my two cents. Put the two rabbit Ed edges toward the middle and make a fitted board to drop in when you need it flat all across the width.
Yeah I like that idea.
Wouldn't mess around get yourself some new beach slabs on the top
Messing around is half the fun!
