Seems like a Bully/Skyrim mixed. Unbelievably excited. Somehow I manage to rewatch the series a handful of times every year, it’s about time it gets its own game that holds up.. hopefully.
And no matter how many times you watch it, it never, ever gets old. Especially in the wintertime 🤙🏾

This game is strictly single player. Which I think is a better move cause it's supposed to be a story centered around you and having multiplayer would just kinda ruin the narrative they're going for, plus I don't want microtransactions plaguing this game. (Which have been confirmed that they won't have)
Nothing wasn’t confirmed later down the line or dlc they might add it in idk why y’all thing oh ya it’s confirmed so the game will stay that way forever it might or it might not be and it’s an option to add multiplayer wouldn’t hurt the game cause single player is still a thing.
@@GoCrazy69 Well if they lie then that's gonna be a PR nightmare, the devs themselves confirmed it on their blog and on their Twitter about not adding Microtransactions and that it's going to be single player. If the executives decide otherwise then that's going to be hell for them and the Devs. Now the possibility of multiplayer could happen but since it's releasing this year I doubt that. If they ever add it then that will be a future thing.
I like how everyone who see character creation and immediately default to a souls game like they're the ones who invented it when that's been a staple of rpg games for the longest time.
Hogwarts Legacy has three of my favorite things. Creation, mythical creatures, and magic. so I'll definitely be checking it out.
I just hope it’s actually as good as they’re making it seem. Would love a free play with multiplayer

Everybody got Skyrim vibes, which I can totally understand from the combat. Me however, I got the PS1 game, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone vibes. At least when it comes to going to classes, learning spells, and using those spells to solve puzzles. I can't wait to experience this one though

Same I got that old school Harry Potter games vibe but it also feels like the natural evolution to that.

Aye as a 90's baby I feel you on final fantasy, Chrono trigger, xenogears etc.
If you played ff 7 growing up, you should check out the remake of it which is really good. Part 1 came out like a year or two ago and part 2 will probably be in 2023.
Hogwarts legacy for me is a day 1 purchase.

I am so excited for this game!!! Have waited two years of this. I can see it could have been to really rebuild some aspects of the game but there was the rumor of a leak after the original trailer came out a little over a year ago.

It could be partly because of COV19 but also to work out the bugs and kinks in the game making sure it done properly

Knowing portkey games this game will be an absolute money pit... they are the same company who did "hogwarts mysteries" which is a mobile game and just in this clip I saw the timers (in the clip of "the room of requirement") that become the absolute bane of your existence because they put them on everything from how often you can do classes to hoe often tou can interact with beasts to how often you can grow stuff (basically everything) but you can spend money to get whatever the currency is in order to speed up the clocks but with them putting clocks on absolutely everything anytime you do anything you blow through some serious money because you end up getting to a point where you can't do quests because you level isn't high enough and you are just waiting on timers nonstop
That is is not gonna happen here, 1st of its a single player game no one is incentivised to pay money to skip in single player , the whole reason most people do that is to feel powered in a multiplayer game, 2: they are backed by waner brothers now who have a reputation to ophold here. 3 . It is not the same makers , portkey games is not a studio its a release company like bethesda, and ea games , the studio who made hogwards a mystery is Jam Games , this game is made by a totally different team , Avalanche Software who has no history of money making.
Portkey Games is not a studio, it's a special label used for new games set in the Wizarding World.
The developers have already confirmed there are no microtransactions.
