I went to the midnight release of some of the movies and the books back in the day when I was younger so my hype for this game is through the roof! This is one of the biggest game releases for me in a very long time 😭

@@Lord_Itachi8758 nowadays trailers like these and games like these terrify me. I had the same hype for Cyberpunk 2077 and although for me the game was still solid, I expected a lot more from the trailers and info they kept releasing.
As a fan of Harry Potter movies and books, this trailer has me EXTREMELY nervous, but VERY excited also. At the very least walking through Hogwarts and just hanging out will calm my expectations and hype.

The mad hatter you saw was Peeves, poltergeist of hogwarts, from the books. The goblin rebellion is talked about in the books during Hogwarts History, not in a lot of details which is perfect for the game.

The goblin rebellion was actually mentioned in the books, but not in great detail. They were in the "History of magic" lessons which were taught to the students. They were mentioned in passing. Hope this helps!!! 😁😁😁😁😁

I've always been a fan of the old *Harry Potter* games back on the PS1 and PS2 era, and this brought back so many of those memories of exploring Hogwarts castle and attending all the different classes, learning new spells, playing Quidditch, earning points to be the best Hogwarts House at the end of the year, and going adventuring where one wasn't ever supposed to go like the Black Forest or into the Restricted Section of the Library, I can't wait to relive those moments again through a new _"Harry Potter"_ game.
P.S. - Oh, don't know if any of you know about it since it's kind of an underappreciated classic, but this footage of *Hogwarts Legacy* also gave me major *Bully* vibes, and if it turns out that *Hogwarts Legacy* is anything like that game then it's gonna be amazing.

If you want to add to the reaction list they also released a behind the scenes vid about the game of the devs at WB Avalanche. It's about 6 minutes long it released during the State of Play. Think it'll make you more excited for the games knowing who's behind the game. This game seems to be in good hands after watching the devs talking about the game . I'm so hyped for this. It'll be a day one for me for sure

Loved the bit about reading the books together. Such a fun couple activity. It would be funny to have a Twitch read thru, or play through the Lego release too. But the graphics on this one seem pretty impressive. I'm just curious to learn more about the game mechanics.
We hadn’t thought about that. But have heard that the actor from Detroit Become Human and his wife do something like that on Twitch which is pretty cool 😊
I feel like this game might bet a lot of games of this year and give off amazing reviews 😁 Also can you imagine there be a quiz style at the beginning to let you pick answers to fit in any house you get assigned to be in. With that said, I believe this game is moments non canon of the movies/books series, but I can be wrong there.
Yeah the sorting hat will be interesting, hopefully, and bet it’s the same thing that happened with Harry where you will get assigned a house based on questions but then probably have the option to chose a house as well because the sorting hat takes into account a persons wishes 🤔

I may be wrong, but hermione mentions the goblin uproar when questioned by ronnie in the house elfs event. He asks her if she wants to fight for the goblins too. As she explains to him that they didnt need help fighting for his rights, seeing that they even had some kind of rebellion at some point.

i cant wait to play this game, it shows a lot of promise especially since it looks like you can use the unforgivable curses too. i remember when i first read Harry Potter,the first 3 films were already out and i had my mom get me the book set from the school bookfair and i have been hooked ever since. I'm a ravenclaw,i even have some hp clothing i got from Hot Topic and still hsve my hp trading cards
Ton of promise,but they didn’t show playing quidditch which I hope is in the game. But even if it isn’t. Seems like there is a lot to offer from the game. 😀

Never been a Harry Potter fan, got a funny story why actually. I was really sick this one time and I had to spend days in the hospital and they had the Harry Potter movies playing. I got "traumatized" haahaha. Really looking forward to trying this game since it looks fun.

This is MY "Game of the Year", hands down. To get immersed in Hogwarts and the Wizarding World as the protagonist of my own story set in that world is something I've waited for for a longer time than I could say.

This looks truly INSANE. Look at those amazing graphics, very detailed environments and specially animations/effects.
This really makes you want to finally explore the world of harry potter as a video game.
Btw, as a fan of lord of the rings (LOTR), I played middle earth shadow of mordor and shadow of war' a lot, which is exactly like LOTR. Super fun game with many amazing features. Now we finally getting an actual harry potter type of game which is Hogwarts Legacy. This is just so amazing guys. I m sure someday you will really stream this game, as it looks truly amazing already!!!!
To be able to finally live in Hogwarts as a wizard will be pretty special 🙂

Mad Hatter????? That is Peeves the Poltergeist. If Peeves gives you any trouble, just cast the spell "Oscausi" (seal mouth shut) on him. The lore of the wizarding world teaches us that there have been several Goblin rebellions in the past. This is the rebellion from the 1890's. Quidditch has not been confirmed by the developers. But, if there is no Quidditch, why would the developers tease us with so many Quidditch visual references? (including the Golden Snitch flying above the avatars head in the Griffendor common room scene). This game is BIGGER and much more detailed than you realize. The game map outside of Hogwarts is estimated to be 36 sq.Km (possibly 36 sq.Miles?) and is highly detailed with buildings, settlements, dungeons, caves, points of interest and more. The developers have revealed many BIG things in this trailer. But they have not revealed everything. Before release, I expect more reveals.

When it comes to being able to care and heal magical creatures, I'm gonna have a whole ass farm or at least as many as I possibly can!😅 When it comes to the companions, the Slytherin guy is the one who seems most interesting to me. The world looks BIG and beautiful! With the seasons, I'm really hoping we'll be able to experience a proper Hogwarts Christmas! I still haven't decided yet if my character will be a Hufflepuff or Gryffindor. I just really hope this game doesn't end up being a disappointment!

As for the video game, you can see that the developers of this company have done a very extensive research on everything that is in the movie and they add something else. which I hope will be very good for the game and whoever plays it. The only thing that worries me is if I don't see micro transactions for DLC's or skins, as they usually do.
Seems like every game has micro transactions now. But hopefully they don’t gate lock too many things 🤔

Oh, I got a good recommendation for your channel. You should watch the new upcoming story mode/ online multiplayer horror game called “Quarry” it features a lot of actors that you might know, Some of them might surprise you as well!

So, if I remember correctly, this is a century before even Dumbledore attended as a student. Since the movies and books are set in the 1900s. I've yet to see all the Harry Potter movies, only ones I've seen are Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, and Goblet of Fire. I know there's a lot of praise for the others, especially Prisoner of Azkaban, and I do have the collection of movies, something about what my friends have said at the time just left a bad taste in my mouth. Plus a lot of catching up to do with some shows I really want to watch and a few movies here and there. But the books I have read back in High School where I would spend lunch in the library just reading away. Hopefully the hype is worth it in the end for this game. Curious how they'll determine what house your in. I'm a Gryffindor, when I took the Hogwarts test online years ago. Maybe they'll ask more about you as a person as you're creating your character, that way you'll actually be sorted into your house. We will see when this releases.

Asking questions seems like a good way to have you sorted into a house but I’m also sure there is a way to just choose your house if you want to 🤔 Prisoner of Azkaban is Bethany’s favorite movie. Mines probably Goblet of Fire. Order of Phoenix is a skippable one although the woman who plays Umbridge is phenomenal so may be worth it to see that one just for that. Half Blood Prince is another just okay one. The book was much better for that particular one. The last two are solid.
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames see that's why, Order of the Phoenix was much better in the books, but I always heard "you can skip Order of the Phoenix, it's the weakest by far". Glad you like Goblet of Fire, it's my personal favorite too, but there's lot of mixed feelings for that movie too. I don't know, maybe a month before the game comes out I'll watch the entire saga.

Yeah, damn chip shortage 😢 keep an eye out on PlayStation official website. They will have sign ups for a ps5 that you can buy directly through them. Basically a raffle kind of system. It’s how we got ours because there was no way that we were going to pay 2-3x the cost of the system to buy it through a third party reseller

As much as information goes, the game will be its own thing since the author isn't involved with making the game and the game will be multi-platform, including Switch. As far as lore goes, there were small implication, but didn't go into full detail.
