I expect it from slytherin and hufflepuff. It's easy to take advantage of a hufflepuff and slytherin are cunning and not held back by the same morals gryffindores tend to adopt. Hufflepuffs will go dark because of being abused by those around them.

Gryfindor can turn evil due to the pressure of living up to expectations from the house. Ravenclaw through their thirst for knowledge. Hufflepuff, like you said, through abuse and maybe losing their way in wanting to be taken seriously.
Nah it's the Gryffindors you gota watch. You REALLY wouldn't expect it from them. That said I will be making my Ravenclaw evil, because that's just way more terrifying.
This looks like the ultimate game in such a franchise, I'm still going to go in cautiously though. That being said I went from mild hype to extreme hype.

If there’s a Morality System in the Game (being Good or Evil) and multiple ways to end the game story, this will be the Next Gen Magic New Vegas we all want.
Please that be fun also I wonder how the sorting into your house will work will you take like a test type thing will it be random or will you just choose I hope its a test thing but obviously not easy so it can be funny to mess up and not get the house too wanted 😂

I imagine that the House sorting will be like Fallout 3 and NV’s tagged skills. Take a short quiz, the hat says what it would sort you, but then discreetly asks your opinion, allowing you to just pick the House if you don’t like the test results. 3. When the game was first leaked, they stated there was a morality system, so yes, you can go bad and be a dark wizard, there’s even a skill tree that looks like it’s for darker powers.
Kinda wish they just took an idea from the pottermore quiz so then if everyone does do the quizz, they will just get the house they've alrdy been sorted in
@@rolandas12able They might! Or something similar to it. I just expect the hat will basically "whisper" to you and ask if the house it thinks you belong in is the one you want. Basically then you'll get a menu to select the House you want if you didn't get it. Just like how Doc Mitchell asks you questions, then you look over the results and can change it if you aren't happy with them. And that will be the Sorting Hat taking your opinion into account.

Lol. The original harry Potter games were my childhood, so hearing Aaron get excited after hearing Flippendo was great. I hated all the Flippendo and spell tracing in the first or second game.
Second game, at least the Gamecube version, didn't have spell tracing, but boy, they only had two voice clips for the eight spells and you could get so sick of them. lol
There are so many different Harry Potter games. I havent played Them since 2004 i played sorcers Stone and secret Chambers. Close after that i started playing wow and have always wonderd why there is no mmorpg with Harry Potter kind of a style

If it's set in the 'LATE' 1800's, I wonder if we're going to see little first year Dumbledore as he started in the 1880's. Tiny Dumbledore would be hilarious.
The news paper at the beginning say the year is 1890 and Dumbledore starts in 1892. Not sure how long the story is supposed to cover. So it's possible but unlikely.
@@BiowareKaiserGirl Well, they're starting you as a 5th year. So, you should have 3 years at Hogwarts if they don't end things early. Assuming 1890 is your 5th year, 1892 would be your 7th year. You'd be in your last year as Dumbledore was starting.

I never get why people get mad when developers take their time with games. It literally just means they putting more work and time into it for a better overall result (not including games like cyberPunk tho).💀
People can't be patient enough for a game and demand its release and get mad when it's crap and proceed to scold the developers for not doing better. Like maybe if you weren't an impatient asshole, you wouldn't have anything to complain about

That’s actually the feeling that Harry Potter gives me. That & a cozy, holiday feeling (that’s mostly the films). This game looks pretty awesome. If it’s anywhere close to what they’ve presented in the trailer, it’s gonna be a good one!
As someone who loved Harry Potter since I was a young child. That’s the feeling Harry Potter gives you. When you’re sad you read the books and you feel a nice cosy warm feeling that makes everything better
@@RitinhaGE Yeah as a kid I didn't enjoy reading but these were the only books I read. I was supposed to be asleep but would pull out the book and use a flashlight under my covers, reading a chapter where harry and ron are sneaking out at night with the invisibility cloak just grinning ear to ear unable to stop reading. Then the movies came out and did a good job at capturing that magic. Good times. And now this! I'm hyped!
I wonder how they'll deal with class lessons. The only thing that makes sense to me is to use something like Persona games, because I want the full experience of going to a magic school and I don't the classes to be optional. The game looks absolutely amazing, but only if the developers doesn't shy away and have enough resources to dive into the slice of life aspect of the game.
I've not played persona, but I think they could go down the Bully route where you can skip class but it will have a negative impact or if a teacher or prefect catches you out of class they take you there, etc.
They might make it like the older Harry Potter games, where you go for a lesson that takes you through a dungeon with puzzles, you get a spellbook to teach you the spell, and you have to use the spell to solve the puzzle and get back out.
The classes shouldn’t be mandatory, but if you skip class there should be a penalty. or you don’t gain the experience that you would gain if you actually attended class
Even if you don't really watch Harry Potter or know of it as much, this is a great game for people who love magic based rpgs. I feel like we don't really get any of the classic wizard-esque games these days as it always has to have some sort of twist. This game seems really expansive but I'm kinda worried about the Created Character. I really hope they don't go with the "Chosen One" trope or anything with this weird ancient magic angle. I find it interesting that you start as a 5th year, it would have been great to start as a 1st year but I understand why they did it. I just wonder if you can progress to the last few years or if it just ends at the end of the 5th year like a classic Harry Potter story. I do hope that after the story there is a fair bit of stuff you can do. Usually in rpgs once the story finishes the game tries to give you more replayability but it gets really boring. I'd literally have a blast if there was still a bunch of stuff to learn, explore, and do. Specially if they make it so seasons/weather can change afterwards. I'd legit just roleplay as a Hogwarts student and just enjoy the immersion.
Yeah, agree. But the thing is - if its successful game, they can release the 2nd or even the 3rd game. With 6th and 7th years of Hogwarts. The base game is there. The only REAL problem to solve would be how to unlock new and unexplored locations WITHIN Hogwarts. But they can easily add new maps to it. Like London parts, or even same/similar locations used in HP books. Or even places like Romania or mountains where Giants live., etc. But yeah, the biggest question is re-playability and will it end after one year or not.
They could just do what the Order of the Phoenix did. A post game "epilogue" chapter that just plays out like an endless mode so you can 100% the game. I really hope they go this route, because this looks like it'll be a gargantuan game (the castle itself is more than big enough for a game world, and this takes you *outside* the castle grounds on top of that) and there is no way in hell that you could get everything in one school year, if you're going blind. Would definitely spend most of my time just walking through the corridors, maybe picking fights with as many people as possible in the courtyards (if the game lets us, like Order of the Phoenix did), and just soaking in the atmosphere. One thing I'd love is if there was an optional online dueling club, where you can just duel other players in a lobby.

Looking forward to this. I'm sure it won't run 100% smoothly on day 1 but I think I'll have a lot of fun with it. I've fantasised a game like this for decades. Definitely making a Ravenclaw!
I wonder how many people will straight up ignore the lore and try to make their avatar Harry Potter a century before he's born. I'm kinda hoping they support that by having his scar, hair, and glasses available just for the fun factor.
I personally still don’t want to get my hopes to high but I must admit, THIS LOOKS FIRE. The fact that you can actually play instead of just tapping things already has me hooked but what is really cool is that you CAN go down a darker path. You CAN experience your own story instead of a set path. I do hope that you get a quiz for house sorting. It'd be fun to get a different house than you wanted xD
did you watch the video? you attend Hogwarts for the first time in 5th year because you are too old to be a first year but must still get trained. hence them talking about using the room of requirement to help catch up to your peers. you start off a newb in 5th year and must catch up.

I'm pretty certain that Serry meant to clear up the confusion from Aaron, since he asked "well they said that you start as a LATE 5th year, so you don't start in the beginning of the school year then?". Serry here is just explaining that since we saw the first introduction day with the sorting hat event and all of that, your character starts on the FIRST DAY OF THE 5TH YEAR.
I played the Philosopher's Stone and CoS on PC back in the day, Flipendo's return is really nostalgic. At least on PC, Harry had about 3 different ways of saying Flipendo; one quicker, one a little more emphatic and then one with a ton of gusto. Plus he would whisper it during the Filch stealth sections.
I’d say if they’re going to have it where the sorting hat asks you questions in order to know what house you belong in, they should at least colour code them, like the hat gives you a question and you are given four choices for an answer and each one is coloured in a different house colour, that way the player can decide on whether they want to be in a specific house or they can mix it up and leave it up the ai of the game to decide where the player goes.
the devs said you get to choose your house, so my guess is you get a quiz or some such, and then a popup like "does this sound right?" so you can choose which one you'll be in.
Eh I think I understand what you're saying but I also feel like color coding the answers would kinda defeat the whole purpose of the sorting hat bc if you knew which houses the answers would lead you to, you either would or wouldn't pick them, regardless if it's actually what you think. You'd basically be bullshitting the entire personality test...but that's just me. I like authenticity so yeah
@@kfactor20 I get what you mean, but it’s just so that the player has a choice on what they want personally. You can take the personality test and care more about the answers then you do the what house you end up in, or you can just take the path that leads you into your favourite house, I get what you mean but that’s just how I’d like it to be if it is a personality test and not just a simple pick a house without any questions deal. @@kfactor20 that’s why I see it as a choice. The player can either answer the questions based on what they think is right or wrong, like the misconception that the sorting hat sorts you in by himself. Or the player could pick a house that they just like the colour of. Like how in the films, the sorting hat recommended Harry into Slytherin, but Harry wanted to go into Gryffindor. You can either go into the house that the sorting hat recommends for you by choice, or you can choose the house yourself based on personal preference.
So apparently this is gonna be on switch aswell and its not listed as a cloud release. How the hell they managed that i'll never know, this game looks HUGE
@@iFranOne they said open world in the developers part of the state of play, so I think that you'll be locked at hogwarts until you start the actual story and the rest of the world is open to you. Kind of like breath of the wild with the great plateau
I just want to be able to make myself in a game where I actually look black and I'm not limited to: bald, locs, fro, brush cut. THAT'S ALL I WANT GAME DEVS! THERE'S MORE THAN 4 BLACK HAIRSTYLES!
Only maybe two or three games have ever had my waves and line-up. That was Def Jam Icon and the NBA 2k series. No other games seems to care or even wanna put waves or a crispy lining for black characters.

This game is set in the 1890’s a time period we have not yet explored in the HP universe so I’m excited to see it in the game. Also we finally got a Hufflepuff common room!! 💛💛💛
For the question on the houses, I think it'll be like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, where you get a series of personality questions, and based on the answers, it'll suggest a house to place you in, but you can choose to go with the recommendation, or opt to pick the house you're in.
From this, it feels like it may be very similar to how Dragon Age and Mass Effect was--there's an overall story, but its open world and you can go on your own meandering as you follow the story.
I have always believed I was a Hufflepuff, but I took the test 3 times in the past year and got a different result each time. I got Hufflepuff, Slytherin and Gryffindor. The latest was Gryffindor, but I dont think I changed literally any of my answers. So I dont know what I am tbh. I feel like a Hufflepuff because I've been one forever, my sister is one too, but I also have Slytherin energy so idk.
Interesting thought here. Assuming this is specifically the 1890 starting school year and if you progresses through 2 years of life your characters year 7 should be the first year of a certain Albus Percival Wulfric...Brian. Dumbledore (born august 1881)
i imagine it could be both ways, with you picking answers to questions that lead to a house but like fall out new vegas they do an override thing (which would be perfect for the wizarding world as harry himself got to choose)
I kind of wish that it was an early Hogwarts game with the founding fathers still there. That would be crazy cool to me. However this trailer gives me hope that the game might be good

Love it, just wish it was an MMO as id love to see how other characters look, different builds, good/bad wizards, play with friends, have houses compete for points for a reward every week, duels, etc.

I got into Harry Potter pretty late compared to my peers, but other than the LEGO games this will be the first Harry Potter I’ll ever play and I’m sooo excited!
They could just restrict its use to nonhuman enemies, and only as a finisher. Or they can go all out and slap a bounty on your head, keeping you from using anything but the seediest shops. Anything else wouldn't really make sense, lore-wise.
I imagine you wont be able to use it in the open world, cause if you did you'd get a life sentence. It'll probably be usable in dungeons only, and won't work on the undead/statue types of enemies that there seem to be a lot of.
You do the sorting quiz sorting quiz and then you then you get sorted into the house in the game. Somehow it goes when you finish the quiz sort you into that particular house and then it connects with this game and then you’re putting to the house
For the sorting I think they will use an elder scrolls approach. We will probably have a prologue episode before Hogwarts where the game looks at the actions you took: where you sneaky, did you rush out or try to solve a problem with your mind, or team up with others etc and then give you a recommendation during the sorting. The final choice however will still be yours.
my assumption for the "houses" Wizarding World House Quiz, then it'll give you your house, but then give you an option to pick whatever you want anyways.
I actually hope that BotW 2 get's pushed back to early 2023. I mean Nintendo releases their new Gen9 Pokemon game in November I don't see them releasing those huge titels in the same Q (same month would be even more rediculous). I mean BotW 1 released in March 2017 and the next huge new titels were Splatoon 2 in July and Mario Odyssey in October 2017 and they released the switch version of Mario Card 8 at the end of April.
@@Clarestovold Believe me I would love that too. But first of all it's the Pokemon Company and Gamefreak we are talking about and they won't push back their release for anything. On the other hand we got a release date of Pokemon in November. But for BotW they only said that they are trying to release it in 2022 and if not it isn't really pushing back their game because they never gave an exact release date.
Current canon says they were classified as such in 1717. Though I believe it is only when used on a fellow human being. So any wildlife/other sentient magical creature is (at least in a LAWFUL sense not a moral one) totally allowed.
I don´t think they used Flippendo when throwing the barrel, but rather Oppugno, which would make more sense considering what it does in the video, and is also a nice nod to Hermione.
One thing I'm curious about is the changing of the seasons. Because the game takes place in one schoolyear, can you never go back to winter time and snow once it passes?
What I am really looking forward to is to experience a LOT of wizarding lore. As this is the 1800's a LOT of the old rules/laws, practice's and rituals would... or at least should still be in use. That means things like...muggle baiting, old rituals, old festivals like Samhain, Lord of the 'most ancient and noble' house, swearing fealty to and offering protection to another house, arranged marriages complete with dowry's and alliances...honour duels, some purebloods acting superior to muggleborns etc etc... These type of things. As this is before Voldy or Grindlewald, the inter-house relationships will probably not be as biased yet...but who knows. As the Statute of secrecy was passed into law in 1692, the wizarding world would already be hidden from the muggles. This should also be implemented into the game and influence our actions. As an underage witch or wizard this may cause problems for us when outside of Hogwarts.
I was wondering if I should read the Harry Potter books? I’ve seen the movies but once but I would like to experience this world once again, but from the perspective of someone coming in fresh. Is it worth the read?

If and when I decide to do a Dark Wizard playthrough I'm definitely doing it as a Hufflepuff. No one will expect the Hufflepuff Inquisition.

As someone who loved Harry Potter since I was a young child. That’s the feeling Harry Potter gives you. When you’re sad you read the books and you feel a nice cosy warm feeling that makes everything better
@@RitinhaGE Yeah as a kid I didn't enjoy reading but these were the only books I read. I was supposed to be asleep but would pull out the book and use a flashlight under my covers, reading a chapter where harry and ron are sneaking out at night with the invisibility cloak just grinning ear to ear unable to stop reading. Then the movies came out and did a good job at capturing that magic. Good times. And now this! I'm hyped!

I would do a rewatch and really get into the lore you’ll enjoy the game more than you already will haha
I hope the game changes depending on the house you're in. Maybe a bonus on an attribute for each house or different dialogs with characters.
Different dialogues would be the basic of the basics, anything less and it would be the most pointless feature

I wonder how they'll deal with class lessons. The only thing that makes sense to me is to use something like Persona games, because I want the full experience of going to a magic school and I don't the classes to be optional.
The game looks absolutely amazing, but only if the developers doesn't shy away and have enough resources to dive into the slice of life aspect of the game.
I've not played persona, but I think they could go down the Bully route where you can skip class but it will have a negative impact or if a teacher or prefect catches you out of class they take you there, etc.
They might make it like the older Harry Potter games, where you go for a lesson that takes you through a dungeon with puzzles, you get a spellbook to teach you the spell, and you have to use the spell to solve the puzzle and get back out.
The classes shouldn’t be mandatory, but if you skip class there should be a penalty. or you don’t gain the experience that you would gain if you actually attended class

Even if you don't really watch Harry Potter or know of it as much, this is a great game for people who love magic based rpgs. I feel like we don't really get any of the classic wizard-esque games these days as it always has to have some sort of twist. This game seems really expansive but I'm kinda worried about the Created Character. I really hope they don't go with the "Chosen One" trope or anything with this weird ancient magic angle. I find it interesting that you start as a 5th year, it would have been great to start as a 1st year but I understand why they did it. I just wonder if you can progress to the last few years or if it just ends at the end of the 5th year like a classic Harry Potter story. I do hope that after the story there is a fair bit of stuff you can do. Usually in rpgs once the story finishes the game tries to give you more replayability but it gets really boring. I'd literally have a blast if there was still a bunch of stuff to learn, explore, and do. Specially if they make it so seasons/weather can change afterwards. I'd legit just roleplay as a Hogwarts student and just enjoy the immersion.
Yeah, agree. But the thing is - if its successful game, they can release the 2nd or even the 3rd game. With 6th and 7th years of Hogwarts. The base game is there. The only REAL problem to solve would be how to unlock new and unexplored locations WITHIN Hogwarts. But they can easily add new maps to it. Like London parts, or even same/similar locations used in HP books. Or even places like Romania or mountains where Giants live., etc. But yeah, the biggest question is re-playability and will it end after one year or not.

A post game "epilogue" chapter that just plays out like an endless mode so you can 100% the game. I really hope they go this route, because this looks like it'll be a gargantuan game (the castle itself is more than big enough for a game world, and this takes you *outside* the castle grounds on top of that) and there is no way in hell that you could get everything in one school year, if you're going blind.
Would definitely spend most of my time just walking through the corridors, maybe picking fights with as many people as possible in the courtyards (if the game lets us, like Order of the Phoenix did), and just soaking in the atmosphere.
One thing I'd love is if there was an optional online dueling club, where you can just duel other players in a lobby.
I've been wanting a magic academy style RPG for a while, so this will do nicely. I also like the HP setting, so that's a bonus.

The fact that you can actually play instead of just tapping things already has me hooked but what is really cool is that you CAN go down a darker path. You CAN experience your own story instead of a set path. I do hope that you get a quiz for house sorting. It'd be fun to get a different house than you wanted xD
Late 5th year just means that 5th year is the first year the student learns magic. You play from first day onwards
did you watch the video? you attend Hogwarts for the first time in 5th year because you are too old to be a first year but must still get trained. hence them talking about using the room of requirement to help catch up to your peers. you start off a newb in 5th year and must catch up.

I'm pretty certain that Serry meant to clear up the confusion from Aaron, since he asked "well they said that you start as a LATE 5th year, so you don't start in the beginning of the school year then?". Serry here is just explaining that since we saw the first introduction day with the sorting hat event and all of that, your character starts on the FIRST DAY OF THE 5TH YEAR.
I played the Philosopher's Stone and CoS on PC back in the day, Flipendo's return is really nostalgic. At least on PC, Harry had about 3 different ways of saying Flipendo; one quicker, one a little more emphatic and then one with a ton of gusto. Plus he would whisper it during the Filch stealth sections.

I’d say if they’re going to have it where the sorting hat asks you questions in order to know what house you belong in, they should at least colour code them, like the hat gives you a question and you are given four choices for an answer and each one is coloured in a different house colour, that way the player can decide on whether they want to be in a specific house or they can mix it up and leave it up the ai of the game to decide where the player goes.
the devs said you get to choose your house, so my guess is you get a quiz or some such, and then a popup like "does this sound right?" so you can choose which one you'll be in.
Eh I think I understand what you're saying but I also feel like color coding the answers would kinda defeat the whole purpose of the sorting hat bc if you knew which houses the answers would lead you to, you either would or wouldn't pick them, regardless if it's actually what you think. You'd basically be bullshitting the entire personality test...but that's just me. I like authenticity so yeah
@@kfactor20 I get what you mean, but it’s just so that the player has a choice on what they want personally. You can take the personality test and care more about the answers then you do the what house you end up in, or you can just take the path that leads you into your favourite house, I get what you mean but that’s just how I’d like it to be if it is a personality test and not just a simple pick a house without any questions deal. The player can either answer the questions based on what they think is right or wrong, like the misconception that the sorting hat sorts you in by himself. Or the player could pick a house that they just like the colour of. Like how in the films, the sorting hat recommended Harry into Slytherin, but Harry wanted to go into Gryffindor. You can either go into the house that the sorting hat recommends for you by choice, or you can choose the house yourself based on personal preference.
So apparently this is gonna be on switch aswell and its not listed as a cloud release. How the hell they managed that i'll never know, this game looks HUGE

@@iFranOne they said open world in the developers part of the state of play, so I think that you'll be locked at hogwarts until you start the actual story and the rest of the world is open to you. Kind of like breath of the wild with the great plateau

Only maybe two or three games have ever had my waves and line-up. That was Def Jam Icon and the NBA 2k series. No other games seems to care or even wanna put waves or a crispy lining for black characters.

I wish more games took the bold path of the mass effect trilogy, which choices having consequences throughout multiple game's stories.
This game is set in the 1890’s a time period we have not yet explored in the HP universe so I’m excited to see it in the game.

For the question on the houses, I think it'll be like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, where you get a series of personality questions, and based on the answers, it'll suggest a house to place you in, but you can choose to go with the recommendation, or opt to pick the house you're in.

From this, it feels like it may be very similar to how Dragon Age and Mass Effect was--there's an overall story, but its open world and you can go on your own meandering as you follow the story.
I have always believed I was a Hufflepuff, but I took the test 3 times in the past year and got a different result each time. I got Hufflepuff, Slytherin and Gryffindor. The latest was Gryffindor, but I dont think I changed literally any of my answers. So I dont know what I am tbh. I feel like a Hufflepuff because I've been one forever, my sister is one too, but I also have Slytherin energy so idk.

Or it spends a lot of mana. I think that for the stronger spells maybe you'll have a mana bar, so that there's no way to spam them
They could just restrict its use to nonhuman enemies, and only as a finisher.
Or they can go all out and slap a bounty on your head, keeping you from using anything but the seediest shops.
Anything else wouldn't really make sense, lore-wise.

I imagine you wont be able to use it in the open world, cause if you did you'd get a life sentence. It'll probably be usable in dungeons only, and won't work on the undead/statue types of enemies that there seem to be a lot of.
You do the sorting quiz sorting quiz and then you then you get sorted into the house in the game. Somehow it goes when you finish the quiz sort you into that particular house and then it connects with this game and then you’re putting to the house

For the sorting I think they will use an elder scrolls approach. We will probably have a prologue episode before Hogwarts where the game looks at the actions you took: where you sneaky, did you rush out or try to solve a problem with your mind, or team up with others etc and then give you a recommendation during the sorting. The final choice however will still be yours.
my assumption for the "houses" Wizarding World House Quiz, then it'll give you your house, but then give you an option to pick whatever you want anyways.
They just announced it for the switch which makes me even more excited
I actually hope that BotW 2 get's pushed back to early 2023. I mean Nintendo releases their new Gen9 Pokemon game in November I don't see them releasing those huge titels in the same Q (same month would be even more rediculous). I mean BotW 1 released in March 2017 and the next huge new titels were Splatoon 2 in July and Mario Odyssey in October 2017 and they released the switch version of Mario Card 8 at the end of April.

@@Clarestovold Believe me I would love that too. But first of all it's the Pokemon Company and Gamefreak we are talking about and they won't push back their release for anything.
On the other hand we got a release date of Pokemon in November. But for BotW they only said that they are trying to release it in 2022 and if not it isn't really pushing back their game because they never gave an exact release date.
The thing I wonder is when avada kedavra became an "unforgivable curse". Cause then it could be seen just as a deadly spell.
Current canon says they were classified as such in 1717. Though I believe it is only when used on a fellow human being.
So any wildlife/other sentient magical creature is (at least in a LAWFUL sense not a moral one) totally allowed.
I don´t think they used Flippendo when throwing the barrel, but rather Oppugno, which would make more sense considering what it does in the video, and is also a nice nod to Hermione.

What I am really looking forward to is to experience a LOT of wizarding lore.
As this is the 1800's a LOT of the old rules/laws, practice's and rituals would... or at least should still be in use.
That means things like...muggle baiting, old rituals, old festivals like Samhain, Lord of the 'most ancient and noble' house, swearing fealty to and offering protection to another house, arranged marriages complete with dowry's and alliances...honour duels, some purebloods acting superior to muggleborns etc etc... These type of things.
As this is before Voldy or Grindlewald, the inter-house relationships will probably not be as biased yet...but who knows.
As the Statute of secrecy was passed into law in 1692, the wizarding world would already be hidden from the muggles. This should also be implemented into the game and influence our actions. As an underage witch or wizard this may cause problems for us when outside of Hogwarts.
This looks like a Harry Potter version of KOTOR and that alone has me very hyped

Yes the books are very good and easy to get into. The world and characters are excellent and the story is pretty well told.
