I like Naoyuki's good natured, enthusiastic demeanor. Fedor seems to take everything in stride and never seems to get rattled much. Both are good for the game and a pleasure to watch.
'Hobby', Likely, it's not the cameramen. It's probably like golf where the Director has you trying to watch your favorite golf swing through a tumble weed, or from 'worm-cam'. He doesn't play the game and doesn't know the difference. He thinks of himself as an 'artist'. Whatever the reason, you're right; it's a pain.
@@jessedavis2540 Jess, How do you get 'hater'?? 'Hobby' made a fair observation-I AGREED with him. What's the deal? 'You a 'camera man'-a 'Director'...what?
Jesus Christ you pool elitists truly make pool insufferable. Unless a guy makes at least 1 4 rail kick shot per match you think he has zero creativity. At the end of the day, jump shots are difficult and they’re a part of pool. If you don’t like it go watch snooker. Quit being a snob. It makes the pool community look bad to new potential players.

At the Derby, I asked Fedor “are Russians superior pool players” he looked at me questioningly and paused, I said: “Of Gorst”
That is a great quote.
Please tell me you really did meet him in person
What kind of cue does Oi use?
What cues are popular in Japan anyways?

That zoomed in close-up of the object ball rolling is WORTHLESS. I thought cameramen learned to not do that in the 1990s.

Boohoo crybaby
Two more obvious observations that are overlooked in a long match between players is boredom and fatigue!
Does anyone know what it is that Oi keeps munching on during the match? Asking for a friend.
The Samurai playing good
Is that his nickname???
@@shayne.7770 no naoyuki is like the jester or something

Is it me or does anyone else feel that gorst is a egotistical dude haha for some reason I don’t like his face, cudos to samurai
Watch some of his post game interviews. He’s pretty humble from what I’ve seen. May just be his focused face.
Gorst is the epitome of a modern day pool pro: a robot with almost zero creativity, thinks he can jump everything, like watching paint dry.
.......... sir this is a McDonalds drive through
