Maybe he's been groomed in his former life?
Because the look on his face seemed quite knowing & thankful.

He is such a good dog. Most dogs matted like that are in so much pain that they bite to let you know it hurts.

That face the dog makes when your shaving his right side is like it feels so good to be shaved and he looks at you like why you stop every time. ❤ thank you for helping him

What a well behaved dog, with such a good disposition. I hope a vet can tend to his front paw, and that the lump you saw on his face is looked at, too. DeeDee, you did a fabulous job and are so sweet with your clients. I agree that he does look more like a standard poodle than a doodle.

happiness changes everything. after watching your more recent videos- i woke up yesterday to an older one. and i just couldn’t believe that it was you. and it immediately become obvious why…you are clearly so much happier now. it’s incredible to see & feel that unhappiness with you. i’m not sure what all changed-- but it has changed almost everything abt you, your work,& your business. grace, humility, & happiness makes all the difference.

My heart goes out to Mango, he’s so patient and sweet, he knows he’s in good hands and going to a good home, when you hold he shaved hair up and says look you guys, he looks as if he’s saying hey don’t shame me, I fell on hard times OK? Lol , my heart ack for his poor foot, I hope it can be repaired and if you need help, I’ll do what I can- just send a request and I’ll donate, I’ve got 4 dogs and they are my best friends, so I guess you could say I’m a sucker for a pretty face, good luck Mango

What an amazing dog! DeeDee you are so patient with him and its obvious you love your job! Mango was lifting that right leg to say thank you. I felt so bad for his broken leg healing the way it did. Hopefully he will get something to help him with it.

Bless his heart he did so good! I hope whomever he belonged to doesn't claim him. They let him get in this shape they don't deserve the love of this dog! I've groomed over 30yrs and I've had a few thoughts badly matted it breaks my heart that people let their dog get this bad
Why do people treat these beautiful animals so bad? I feel so sorry for him/her to have to live with a broken leg, I wish the owner could feel that pain, thanks for caring for her and giving a little love to her!
I fear there aren't enough groomers in the world to fix all the matted shaggy dogs and poodle mixes.

Pet parent no offense I didn’t even leave me a five star google review no review at all, and they ghosted me when I reached out to check on him and his leg since he said he was going to take him to a veterinarian
@@myfavoritegroomer something seems off about the way he's interacting with the dog that he claims to want to keep. He doesn't really pet him like someone who loves the dog would.
I would have been hugging that poor baby while you cleaned him up. If you could have allowed that of course.

Perhaps he didn't like that you wanted to film everything? He might not understood that filling is what helps you fund some of the things that you do for these animals.

Now that I can see thE face that doesn’t look like any doodle I’ve see. The face sure looks like my standard poodle. He is so well behaved. He’s a great dog. The foot makes me so angry. How anyone could turn a dog loose is beyond me. He’s going to be a wonderful companion.

I agree, but when you have a standard poodles, mixed with a golden retriever, or Labradoodle, or a Labrador retriever, and they become doodles, you get a mix of all different kinds of shapes and sizes and usually we are not shaving a standard poodle haircut on a doodle but when you do likely you’ll find that the structure of the bones look just like one of those breeds when they are mixed together

Mango has such a beautiful temperament and you can see the owner really loves him.
Because of Dede, he is going to associate grooming positively. He obviously has been groomed at some point , either stolen, abandoned, or severely neglected at some point. He is a very well bred standard poodle, and I would not doubt the break on the leg resulted in the neglect or abandonment. Obviously he was fed, as he is i great body condition weight wise. But that's longer than a few months neglect. He will make a great addition to that family. He has such kind eyes. Great job Dede and pet parent. As a groomer, applause to you!

@@myfavoritegroomer mmmmm, that could well be true. Mango seemed rather attached to him especially when he'd allegedly only had him for a very short time (days?). If that is the case, the owner should be prosecuted for animal neglect and cruelty.
