You do so well even though it seems the client wants it done so quickly. Wish owners would understand groomers work with live moving animals and use sharp tools. Sometimes its up to the dog how fast it wants to get done not the owner. Obviously this one's a proffesional lol and so are you great job!!
I don’t know any client that dictates time. When my dog goes we ask them how long and to just call us when they are finished. We allow enough time. They can’t do a good job without it.

So I've been binging your videos because me and my boyfriend are thinking about getting a dog when we move to our new house maybe a year after we've moved, and watching all of these videos has taught me that I'm definitely getting a very short haired dog that needs those funky shedding brushes that you can use with one in each hand, that will be nice and easy to groom ourselfs I reckon

I literally just watched this because I was afraid to use the clippers on my dogs feet and face without know how to. She did really well and looks not as ugly as she usually does when I get ahold of her. Still kinda funny looking though...

I think the sound was turned down on your camera. No matter how high we turn up the volume it will only go as high as the camera setting I think.

Go for it and try a cordless clipper it might work they do have clippers for dogs 🐕 that are cordless

I have loved following your channel & watching videos for a few months now! I am curious of how you dematt a double coated dog? Other collie owners sometimes ask me to help groom their collies that are in dire need of grooming. I have my own 8 collies and love to groom them with my Wahl Motion clipper and thinning shears. I clip their footpads, earhair & nails, express anal glads and do line brushing. Other equipment I use are an undercoat rake, dematter, metal teeth comb and slicker brush. I am a college student with a passion of grooming my dogs. Would you recommend any other equipment for grooming a double coated dog such as a rough collie?

I posted a link here to her Pet Silk shampoo in her shop but if it doesn't post (some channels restrict links) then go to her store, the link is in the video description. Then select the three bars (menu), select SHOP so it lists the categories beneath it, then scroll down and select "shampoo & finishes". You might have to go to the bottom of the shampoo page and hit 'load more' to find the Pet Silk shampoo which is the one I think she talks about most. It sounds nice, good luck! Like they said, if you cant find it just email her.
What type of clippers do you use?? The clippers u bought do not cut as smooth, they tend to get stuck in the hair

Dogs are bathed before their grooming for the most part. If the dog 1.) is super greasy and getting a short haircut or 2.) super matted and greasy, we’ll shave the dog down, then bathe, then finish the haircut. Just to get the bulk off for the bathers before hand.

hi I Don't like to user the guides on my. clippers when I do my grooming I like to use just the blade a better. look and. smooth ..to. me no matter how u do it it is a job to groom .

Do you remove the blades from the razor ? Dip and soak kind of thing? I guess I should google it.
The cleaner I use I dip the blade part (the part that actually does the cutting, so the edge of it basically) into the cleaner, let it run for a couple seconds, then wipe it off. Disinfects, cleans, and oils the blades all at once.
