About to choose 7 or 8 from 6 becasue my 6 has stopped working 😞 As per the information from this video, I tend to choose "7" because some upgraded features in 8 are of very less importance to me (for instance, cycle tracking App is not needed for a man who can't ovulate at all :D ) . So, cheaper option should work :)

Having gone from a 7 to an 8, there is no discernible difference. The only real difference is marketable features that only 1% of people will every use.
Just got my series 7 Apple Watch in April. I upgraded from the 4 and so far I love it. No reason for anyone with a series 5 or better to upgrade to the 8 if you wanna upgrade gran the ultra.
Coming from a series 5 to a series 7 I can say the battery life is so much better! And you get a larger screen on the S7 & S8 that feels larger and is brighter too. I definitely recommend upgrading from anything S6 or older.
I want a 7 considering i just bought an series 8 and i just notice it just an aluminum vs steel....-and it is cheaper than the 8 oh well maybe next time id figure that junk out ahead of time
The only things I’d want from the newer model is low power mode battery life, I imagine the Series 7 would get similar numbers though. I’d rather a titanium watch than a steel one, scratches look horrendous on steel.

Hi Andrew, I might be in the minority here, but I have gone from the series 7 Apple Watch to the series 8 Apple watch. why you might ask where am I Series 7 w was a 41 mm watch, and the one that I have bought is a 45 mm one, so for me this is a little bit of a bigger upgrade that most The screen is that much bigger, and for a person approaching 60, makes everything easier to see. However, if you were if you were coming from a Series 7 45 mm then I guess you are right there is no need to upgrade. But don’t discount The 4 mm increase in screen Real Estate when it comes to those people, like myself coming from a 41 mm watch. In actual fact, I have small wrist, and even though I have ordered a bigger watch, I was always afraid that it would be too big, but to my surprise when I got the 45 mm watch and put it on fit perfectly, and that makes me a happy camper

First time getting a smartwatch. I bought one a couple days ago mostly because I’m a runner and I heard u can use it as an mp3 player by loading music to the watch. It’s frustrating that there no fast forward function, just skips between songs. Come on Apple!!!

Quicker and more reliable pairing to supported devices. Useful for AirPods Pro 2nd Gen which will pair and switch between devices quicker. Not sure if range is improved or the same.
the 7 has an always on display, U1 chip, 5GHz wifi support, and of course the bigger display with slimmer bezels. (dumb feature is the “exclusive keyboard”)
I upgraded from a 4 to a 7. they have some really good deals on 7's and i believe it's not worth it to spend the extra $$ on the 8.

It’s only a sensor that if you’re a guy, you’ll never need. That’s about it.
The bigger up date is the pro model.

I just did that as well, glad I did. The ultra is more comfortable I find cause of the flatter bottom.
