In 2024 I managed to find a discounted (brand new) Apple Watch Series 7 45mm Stainless Steel with Sapphire glass for $185. Like you said, it’s close enough to the power of the Ultra, but with the Sapphire glass mine is just as durable now 😊👍🏼 granted, the stainless steel is not as tough as the titanium.
I would love you “interview” Garmin (Epix2). I am 101% Apple (work+private life)and for the first time hesitating to move to Android. Currently owning AWseries 3, and 2 full days on battery with all notifications…which should not happen?! Battery is 87% health. Hesitating for AWU but the look is not my style, cannot really accept :) You review is underrated on YT, this is the only one, honest, reliable and neutral. I wish you a good luck and thank you for content quality!
Thanks a lot! Unfortunately, I don’t have an Epix2 on hand and am not planning to obtain one. Regarding your Series 3; if you don’t use it on cellular that battery life is absolutely achievable without the always on display and light use.
Great video! Still rocking with my AW 4 GPS version with 95% of battery health for almost 4 years. But I do have the ambition to one day have my Watch replace the iPhone (that’s how I discovered your channel). Hopefully next year’s AW will be a bigger upgrade than Series 8.
I want to try replacing my phone with a watch and thinking the 7 for a lower entry cost. Is the 41mm big enough? I’m afraid the larger version would look huge on my wrest.
Hey Scott :) I would recommend to just stop by an Apple Store and try them on. Personally, I find the 41mm a bit small 🤷🏻♂️ I also have no idea how the battery life behaves on the smaller watches.
Been on the Series 7 since it launched and I'm also at 91% battery health, that's not good you know so I disagree with that valuation. My Series 4 was at 86% after 3 years
Hey there Anthony :) Yeah I mean I‘m just speaking from my experience obviously. I know I charged it in the probably worst way possible and that‘s why I think 91% is acceptable. During „regular“ use, I would also expect it to probably last longer. How did you charge your Series 7?
@@FlorianBodlee I have to admit I use the fast charger that I got with the Apple Watch because I find the regular 5w one to be really slow. Maybe I should stop doing that but it's way too slow :/.
The main topic is to not let the battery drop below 20ish and not charge it to 100% every time. Basically, dropping it far down and charging it all up is quite bad for these batteries 🤷🏻♂️
Thank you for your warmth and genuine take on the Apple Watch really appreciate it!
I’d be interested in a developing Apple Watch apps course!
Great video!! I appreciate the in-depth information in all of your videos. Thank you and great job!!
Hey Barry, thanks a lot, greatly appreciated! Welcome to the channel :)

Welcome to the channel Bruno! Honestly, the Series 4 is still a great watch, especially if your battery is still going strong like yours 😎
i would love the apple watch appl development course!
Hi Manuel :) Welcome to the channel 🥳 Thank you for your interest, please stay tuned :)

@@anthonyanthony2783 i have been hearing that the “Fast Charge” is also partially to blame for quicker battery degradation.
Please be more consistent on youtube!
On it 😎
Literally use the Apple Watch with the iPhone is much better
