They use no air packs and a hose reel. Any true professional in the US can do just as good of a job if not better, with pre-connects and SCBAs . Your comment reveals your ignorance.

I use SCBA whenever the situation demands it, Sometimes just a full facial mask with filters in forest fires. Here in the first attack they are forgiven once again because they are in the open outside. 90% of car fires videos in US they take too long to get water in the nozzle that is a fact. I am not saying you couldn't do with a pre connect. I even say you should must do. Because in USA sometimes you also see FF with packs but not connected to the mask and sometimes in more demanding situations than this. Ignorant sorry I am not maybe I didn't explain myself correct in first place.
