Okay, I can say that when the magic start happening at 5:30 how the old man builds the impro teasing with the thematic until absolutely fantastic finale. Now I need to rethink my playing... really. That man is a genius.

What is really blowing my mind, (to put this into perspective), Eric Clapton is 77, Kieth Richards is 78, David Crosby is 81, Todd Rundgren is 71, the list goes on and on... and Kenny is "only" 64. Just a kid compared to a lot of famous great pickers, but people are utterly amazed that a person of this "advanced age" can play like this good, (or even play at all). Taking nothing away from Kenny Petrie, indeed a very talented musician (and vocalist), but just imagine how many talented musicians there must be out there that never have had, and most likely never will have, the recognition they crave and deserve. It seems like it's about every day I'll browse RUclips and run into another super-musician that I've never heard of. I'm 75, still playing, and thought I knew a little about music, but realized a long time ago, I don't know crapp.
My thoughts exactly. He's being touted as an "old man guitarist", but as you say he was a baby when the likes of Clapton, Hendrix etc were in their prime. BTW, these guys are playing at my partner's 60th this Saturday, and I'm guesting on drums for this very track.
It is good to see some one living out their dreams, so late in life,..! I am only 63, how do I go and apply to, Industrial lights and Magic,..? He eve has a very good singing voice, this man s got talent,..! Wow, i am very, very, impressed,.. I wish I could live out my dream,.. ??
@@DrummerGrl001 Nevermind... yes we ARE old men (I'm 67) and we are fucking proud to grew up with this kind of Rock Music. I feel blessed to be part of the "Woodstock Generation" it couldn't be any better. I'm proud of my age.

Kenny needs a real band these Jon bulls playing with him over there talking don’t belong in his presence. Drummer not bad bass and rhythm guitarist should take the stage presence a bit more seriously. People pay to here you play . But I guess the 64 year old gets it.
