Wow is right. Holy sh*t…that drummer is fire and mesmerizing with the timing. But by the end of the song I was floored by the fluidity of the lead guitarist. Not only did he nail the notes but captured the feel of the original. Bravo and wow again

I've listened to this song for nearly 40 years. I'm still addicted to it, in fact more than ever. This cover band has done an amazing job of making it as beautiful as the original. So, I love it so much that I bought an electric guitar and learned the lead guitar part. It has taken 4 months of daily playing and I am nearly good enough to play it on stage. My wife and kids have practically disowned me.

Exceptionally tight and talented drummer, incredibly perfect and tight lead guitarist, (every note and nuance rang true), solid rhythm guitarist carried the whole tune, bass playing and vocals are masterful. This is my favorite cover at this point in time. I find myself playing it often and sometimes multiple times in a row. Watching these guys play their instruments in 4k resolution, on my big screen, with the excellent sound through my good amp and speakers is beyond cool. I really like the format of watching musicians up close playing their instruments. These guys are as good as the original.

I'm really pleased that Dire Straits are finally releasing SoS (from their On Every Street Tour), in their upcoming Live 1978-1992 collection. HSCC, this was flawless! It seems really unfair that RUclips only allow you to 'like' this once. I propose that RUclips change this so that we can like it every time we watch!

It's hard to come up with words to do this justice. I have realised I always listen to the bass when I listen to HSCC - I play bass so of course I listen (actually, I feel I pretend to play bass after listening to this genius stuff :-) ), but man is that drumming good: spot on, sparse and just RIGHT. The lead is astonishing, and the rhythm just where it should be. Is this what heaven is like?? Thank you for sharing this and shining a wonderful ray of sunlight into the world

Of course Mark Knopfler did it better in his prime. But considering that the guitarist uses a pick and not fingerstyle, it's very very good and fluid.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that Sultans of Swing is my favourite song of all time. I'm really pleased that Dire Straits are finally releasing SoS (from their On Every Street Tour), in their upcoming Live 1978-1992 collection. HSCC, this was flawless! It seems really unfair that RUclips only allow you to 'like' this once. I propose that RUclips change this so that we can like it every time we watch!

Knopfler’s licks and solo on that tune are so melodic that they’re worthy of duplication. Right up there with Claptons Croossroads solos and Gilmours stuff…great job guys!

It's hard to come up with words to do this justice. I have realised I always listen to the bass when I listen to HSCC - I play bass so of course I listen (actually, I feel I pretend to play bass after listening to this genius stuff :-) ), but man is that drumming good: spot on, sparse and just RIGHT. The lead is astonishing, and the rhythm just where it should be. Is this what heaven is like?? Thank you for sharing this and shining a wonderful ray of sunlight into the world
