Honda GX 160 - No Spark - Part 1

- Honda GX 160 on Wacker plate compactor is missing pieces, has no spark, needs a lot of TLC. Bad ignition coil led to no spark. I go through the rough checks for simple things, but you can also skip right to checking the coil if you know the other components are good.

Ok, this is crazy what I just discovered. I have two machines here for repair. No start. Cleaned the carb, fresh fuel and then I wondered why I had no spark. So I read on the internet and it was the oil level switch. I am so ashamed I didn't check for this first. Filled up the oil and she started up immediately.. .Honda GX120

@@darwinescobar7629 with low oil it sparked once every 10 pulls. after filling the oil correctly it started right away
My ocd says that it would be nice to have a Honda GX 160 sticker to go on the front of that recoil lol
I got a generic recoil for my Honda GX 200 but don't know if I'm going to use it because it takes the name off the engine smh. Worrying about dumb stuff, I know
