    This is the right one I have seen in years! All tend to add on pottu Kadalai podi which makes it different and not authentic version which is Tanjore based version.

    I always refer to your channel for tiffin items. This is the first time I started doing thattai . Exactly followed your recipe. It came out so well. Now iam confident of trying all savoury variety. Just need to blindly follow you. I also added groundnut to it. It was a big hit

    How can preserve this thattai???? We can store in refrigerator

      Store in air-tight container and keep it outside. No need for refrigeration.

    Today I tried Vella seedai, uppu seedai and thattai. Both seedais became powdery in a short time. Thattai also the same problem. Later on I made thattai smaller and slightly thicker. Also used high heat to start with then reduced the heat to medium and managed the shape for thattais. I have not followed your method. I have used the sunflower and not coconut oil.

      Thank you 😊🙏🙏🙏 Same procedure for pepper thattai too, instead of red chili powder, we can add coarsely crushed pepper or finely ground pepper too.
