Today I tried Vella seedai, uppu seedai and thattai. Both seedais became powdery in a short time. Thattai also the same problem. Later on I made thattai smaller and slightly thicker. Also used high heat to start with then reduced the heat to medium and managed the shape for thattais. I have not followed your method. I have used the sunflower and not coconut oil.

I regularly use your recipe only for sambar powder, rasam powder and even for idli podi also. Really a very nice recipe. Please give us like this more and more recipes Madam

Add more rice flour. Either the oil is not hot enough or butter is too much
