I like the vessels that you use in the video whether it is a serving dish or the one in which you do the cooking. I have a basic question. when you give 4 whistles while using the pressure cooker , do you mean that one should switch off the medium of heat source immediately or whether one should keep the fire on sim for a few minutes and then switch off. My mother is a big fan of keeping the pressure cooker on the lowest flame for a while before switching it off completely. I never questioned her logic so much so that I have unconsciously inherited her habit!!
I usually switch off immediately after 3-4 whistles for rice and veggies. My stove is coil based and it will have heat for more than 5 mins even after switching off. So for rice and veegies i move the cooker from the coil. For dal i keep in the coil till the heat is fully gone. Did i answer your question or confused you 😄
I dont know why you guys doing these kind of stuff... in our tradition i have heard only about rava and semiya kesari..... ithuku comments vera super nu follow ur tradition plz we dont need to spoil anything.... whatever we have is good enough why no one is understanding tis..

We can use brown sugar. Try using the same 1 cup ratio for brown sugar too. If you are sweet tooth, you can use 1.25 cups of brown sugar🙏
