Thanks a lot! Exactly the same symptoms have been experienced by my son, extreme fatigue, overall muscle stiffness/ache, insomnia, excessive sweating even in cold weather, anxiety/frequent panic attack, brain fog, ......And he was found to have a very low serum Vitamin D level. Just hope that more people suffering from this mysterious illness know this is the cause and get the right remedy. Wish you all the best and be well soon! Vitamin D3 can be taken with Vitamin K2 to make sure that calcium goes to bones (that helps alleviate bone pain).

Thank you for the video! I was diagnosed 3 months ago. Our symptoms are very similar. I also get anxious and made the HUGE mistake of looking up the symptoms on the Internet. The muscle twitching is getting better but still shows up. It's annoying physically, but really sets off the anxiety. I'm trying to be patient and videos like these make me feel much better about the symptoms. Thanks again!

How are you now? I'm not a medical professional but are you combining your D3, I'm guessing you take it in this form, with vitamin K2 and also Magnesium? Vitamin D3 needs Magnesium to be properly absorbed in the body and activated, so it could be also a sign that your Magnesium is getting drained. When our bodies don't have enough Magnesium, the body takes it from other organs to basically make it for the loss so it can also cause muscle twitching and spasms.

@@mikerespondek1947 Hi, yes I recently got blood work done again and I went from my Vitamin D level being a 10 (which is pretty severe) to now it's a low normal 29. I do feel better but I have other medical issues (hypothyroidism) that cause a mess of other symptoms. I still get muscle twitches, tremors, fatigue, numbness in my feet and hands. One thing that I had in the beginning was I felt wobbly and unbalanced some times, like I could fall or faint, thank GOD that has went almost completely away..... From what I've read it takes time to feel 100 percent. I'm in my early 30s and this year was the first time I ever had my Vitamin D checked, so who knows how long I've been deficient. @@Queenbrieee My Vit D was 18.6 and my B12 was at the bottom end of the normal range. I started off with anxiety out of nowhere, insomnia, then to muscle twitching. I immediately ran to my local doctor and neurologist and requested bloodwork and vitamin checks. They prescribed me 50,000 IU of Vit D2 once a week. The first 3 weeks, I took it in the morning with oatmeal. I then found out that it is fat soluble - now I take it with a fatty meal to help with absorption. I also take k2, super b complex, and magnesium daily. I have twitching all over, and anxiety seems to make it worse. I do feel lethargic, and find myself wanting to sleep longer in the mornings. My limbs feel "shaky" which creates a similar feeling to what you described as a wobbly and unbalanced feeling. Twitching is mainly confined to my calf muscles, but it does occur everywhere else. My local doctor and my neurologist both assured me that this was a vitamin deficient issue - D & B12. It must be noted that my father had (just passed away) with ALS. The neurologist I saw ran an ALS clinic for 10+ years and cleared me of ALS after a physical exam and bloodwork. He's diagnosed over 1,000 ppl with ALS so I take that for what it is. I'm just ready for the twitching to stop!

From what I've researched you want to be taking D3 because it's the more active and easily absorbed or something like that. D3 is supposed to be better, look it up for yourself. I've watched several other videos on vitamin D, even by real MDs, but yours is the first one that I actually find matching symptoms to mine. They are not exactly the same, but my symptoms are very similar - much fatigue (despite being quite active); so much muscle tightness, stiffness, and pain and twitches; feeling weak; night insomnia, but also napping during the day; brain fog; low concentration; and excessive sweating. Watching your video made things at last click for me. Though I'm not self diagnosing, I'm now pretty convinced that I do have vitamin D (as well as B12) deficiency. Go check your serum vitamin D level, take supplements if you are found deficient. Physicians may administer 50000 IU once a week. It is also helpful if you take 5000 IU a day as well together with Vitamin K2.

It shouldn’t as long as your blood levels aren’t in excess. I say shoot for 70-90ng/mL. The “optimal range” is 30-100ng/dL but I don’t think anything below 50 is optimal from what I’ve found.
The general doctor recommendation I’ve found for people who are deficient is to start at 4000IU for every 100lbs or 1000IU for every 25lbs. So if you weight 225lbs take 9000IU. Then get retested 6 months later and adjust the dose if needed.

Google is definitely not our friend when having health anxiety lol . I had vitamin d deficiency back in November of 2020 . I got this after taking a Flouroquinolone Antibiotic Ciprofloxacin is the name . This antibiotic wiped out everything in my body . Multiple vitamins and minerals and had me bed ridden for months . After high doses of liquid vitamin d 10,000 iu a day I slowly started recovering . It is not a pretty deficiency at all . My vitamin d was at a 12 when I had it tested back in November of 2020 . Throughout months though I ended up getting it up to a 87. Glad you're feeling better .

my levels were at 15 in June, i had heart palpitations, anxiety, weakness, brain fog, tiredness, vertigo and dizzyness from time to time, it's horrible, I started taking 5,000 ui d3 k2, so far i feel better, as in energy wise and mood, but i do sometimes still get hit with anxiety, vertigo and dizzyness, i am wondering if i should bump up the dosage to 10,000 ui even though it's not been about 2 months. i know it takes time to recover.

@@nanykabatra Yes, the joint and severe bone pain went away, also more energy and less moody, better sleep. It will take time and depending how low you are. But if taken daily in 3-4 months for normal levels and up to 6-9 months for symptoms to fully disappear. Once you have levels back to normal, take a low dose for maintenance or lots of sun to prevent deficiency again.

I had vitmain d deficiency which my doctor was aware of for little over a year now and was still low after taking supplements. my muscles get really tight and im injurying myself easily and been dealing with lot if anxiety, depression. I keep going to my nurse practioner and telling them something is wrong with my muscles and body told them this is not normal and they basically thought that nothing was wrong with me and put it down as anxiety or depression. I eventually seen a specialist who deals with joint and nerve pain and he diagnosed my symptoms as being from vitamin d deficiency. Suppose to start intramuscular injections and see if there is improvement and hopefully it helps so I can start living my life again.
