The entire crime scene was compromised by the police and family in that case unfortunately. Any DNA could’ve been tampered with making it inconclusive. I’m still under the belief her mother killed her, her brother probably witnessed and tried to help his mom cover it, but I still think it was a parent who hurt her unfortunately

Just a thought on the legality of going through somebody's trash I have no problem with it but what I do have a problem with is when restaurants in big cities specifically lock their trash cans and have even had homeless people arrested for going through the trash to find food which was going to a dump anyways if the feds can look for evidence against you to help them convict you of a crime then I think there should be no laws against homeless people rummaging through dumpsters for food when they're hungry and going without
