THESE CLOSED-CAPTIONS ARE SO SPOT ON 😂😂😂
That's amazing, yet again you guys are showcasing a bike that I once owned and enjoyed. Just about every one of these motorcycles you guys showcase I have a story about. And this is amazing because I used to own a 93 EX500 that looked exactly like that. I paid $600 for it from a guy in my squadron when I was in the Navy stationed at NAS Miramar in San Diego. He said he couldn't get the engine to start and I found out after pulling the tank that he had routed the fuel line to the wrong spot on the carburetor. It took 15 minutes to get up and running and another 30 minutes to get it tuned and perfect again. My needed a few things too because of course it was owned by a Navy sailor. The only thing I really added brand new to mine was the lower chin spoiler underneath the engine frame. There was a motorcycle shop couple miles from the south gate at Miramar that just happened to have one sitting on its shelf. I rode mine everyday back and forth to the hanger until the day came when I sold it six months later before going on overseas deployment. Mine was so awesome and never gave me any problems. All I ever did was change the oil and check the air of the tires. I never even replaced the battery. Of course that's back when I was about a hundred and twenty pounds and that bike felt huge.there's no way I can even get my feet on the pegs anymore. Lol. I thought I'd never see another one that was in that great of shape. Of course when I owned my 93 EX it was 1995 so mine was only a year or two old.
I had an 89 white EX500. Was my daily driver for 2 years, loved it. Hearing the motor run brings back memories.
My first bike. I had a 2002. They run forever. It is better than a lot of even modern bikes.
My buddy had a EX 500, I blew his doors off on my 84 GPZ 750 Turbo. That I paid 400 dollars for in 1991.
I just bought one from Oregon with 9,000 miles on it stills runs taking it to the shop sometime this month to flush and put new parts
Had a 93 Blue/White.
WOW! Just saw this video now but that is an absolutely beautiful early 90s vintage EX500 Ninja! I absolutely LOVE it! Thanks for sharing and I hope whoever ended up getting it is enjoying it and getting use out of it and having a blast!
Almost bought one when I was stationed in Hawaii after returning from Desert Storm. I regret to this day not getting it.😪
I remember a guy in town having a gold and white one. He did a wheele one night and for some reason he thought he saw the ghost car . He decided to flee town and when he did he jumped the train track and destroyed his plastic belly pan. He got away though, turns out it wasn't a police car ! Great memories.
Had one black and red trim 1989 with red rims and black aluminum cages instead of fairings love that bike it was the hardest thing in the world to let it go when I upgraded but my wife wouldn't let me keep two bikes now some energies have shifted in the household and she understands w w so I'll be getting another one
Damn, that retro color scheme looks incredible.
I still like the different varieties of bikes
I had one of these when i was 16 then it ended up passing hands to 2 different friends of mine. I got stories for days we were so hard on it. Just as good if not better than a honda.
👍👍 Had the exact same bike! Bought it in 91 as a commuter. Put a Vance & Hines on it, jetted it and had the Targa factory paint lower...... Didnt have it long. Soon really got into the sportbike world and sold it for a ZX6, then a 93 ZX7 and so on......
I had one of those in the early 90’s, all red. I bought mine used with about 3,000 miles on it, perfect condition, $1900 😂😂
I had an 88. Red w/black graphics. Got it from a friend. He was hard on it,then I was hard on it,then 5-10 ppl after me were all very hard on that bike! Man,it was a great bike being a teen. I think it did around 120mph. Changed the handlebars to lower-sitting bars from a ninja 600. The started button would hit the tank when the bars were turned one way so I dented in the tank a little so it wouldn't lol. Wtf!!!!
excellent commuter bike a good 1st bike aswell
