Fantastic machine! The entire GPz line were winners. In 550, 750, and 1100. All versions, especially '82 - '85.

Superb motorcycle, I had the GPZ550 H2 which was basically a scaled down 1100B2. I regret never getting the 1100B2.

Great vlog, thank you for taking me back in time, i bought a new one when i was 24 years old, it was a great bike, the injection was the icing on the cake, no throttle lag and the hp was just unreal 😎

I LOVE this moto-vlog style of video! Don’t stop with the showroom style walk-around show-offs of your bikes that you’ve always done, but combining that with a real view and feel of the performance via use of a helmet cam like this is fantastic, and the audio is also excellent! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I had one when they came out. Wonderful bike. My friend bought the Katana, it's equally wonderful competition.
I had the red GPZ1100. Long time ago in a land far away. (misty eyes) :)
Thanks for the memories with this perfect example.

Lol this brings back memories, I just graduated highschool when this bike came out.... I seen a GPZ 1100 engine and transmission in a Honda Odyssey! How many remember the 1980's Odyssey's?

I remember when this was released and went head to head against the Suzuki GS1100ES. They made the cover of one popular motorcycle magazine and the caption said " When Too Much Is Just Enough" . I've lusted after both bikes ever since. You can still find plenty of those Suzuki's but this gem GPz is a rare find indeed. Must find a way to get this bike......must find a way....

I owned GS 1100's in the 80s , 90s and destroyed every Kaw that challenged me including the ninjas when they came out. This is a beautiful bike from that era though.

I decided I wanted another one after owning one in the early 90s. I looked and looked and never found one for sale that was running and ridable. Eventually I just settled on a clean ZG1000 concours. I stripped it naked and made custom body panels for the sides, and then used a GPZ 1100 tail. Turned out great

That is absolutely gorgeous and sick at the same time. Stunning looking bike and fast! I could definitely see myself on one of these! Just truly drool worthy! Extremely spooky that you broke your leg 3 times, in 3 different years, on July 11th. My Bday is on the 6th of July. I'll be fifty this year. I wish, more than anything, I was Junior's age again, knowing what I know now. 5ft 10, 170-175 lbs back then, and strong as an Ox, back then, 32 to 33 inch waist, from always lifting weights, and doing some powerlifting. Off like honeymoon pajamas! 😂🤣❤️...Can't wait to eventually visit your town. It's so damn gorgeous, with all of the trees and woods! Definitely a truly badass bike. Looks 100x better than the space age bikes of today. I like motorcycles that look like real motorcycles.

I had the 81 Gpz 1100. Loved it but the mechanical fuel injection kept giving me problems. In 91 Sold to a guy who was going to replace it with carburetors. Don’t know if it worked out well for him.

Now that's what I call a motorbike. Why don't Kawasaki make retro models that look like this? I mean exactly like this, not the re-imagined pale imitations that manufacturers normally churn out. Just update the mechanicals, suspension, brakes, etc. If they did this with a Lawson Z1100R I'd be straight down to my local Kawasaki dealership ready to hand over my money.

SHEET !!! LOVELY, LOVELY BIKES, as always. funny story, no bike Kawasaki, for 27 years, they say at Banditaholic meetings, to TALK of Bandit Time, to try and ease Constant ACHE of No longer being a Banditateer, so here go's. March 19, Facebook, got a 05 GSF 650i.Bandit, pal who got me on Facebook, days after getting Bandit, says Facebook, people with Bandits. So I'm BIGGING UP, my now late beloved 650i.Bandit, saying about as much fun as my nearly new Kawasaki 750 turbo was in 84, can still picture, and feel the Woosh of the turbo engaging, Pulling Very Hard at arms, 35years later. Qué Ace Kawasaki, Oh that takes me back, saying he worked for Kawasaki in 84, had a tuned 750 turbo, got chatting, Shortly after, I go to pick up, ordered food, delivery driver is eyeing up Bandit, got food, talking to him you ever had a bike ??, delivery driver...GPZ750, GPZ1100, then got a 750 turbo. NO WAY, remember when it pulled your arms, So hard.?? He said...Yeah, it tried to throw rider off the back. But a fuel inj. GPZ1100, SHEET,??, Sounds Smashing, Superb. Prof.Bandit650i.B.T.E. out.
