ive ridden one from wiltshire uk into scotland and back on a road trip stopping for 3 nights, she handled it including the motorway miles on the return leg, still got her now as my winter bike and i paid about £350 for her. Solid and reliable, stylish too for her age. My other bikes are cruisers which is what i like the most but this bike is a good starting point to get into a more sportier machine.
I’m a proud owner of one of this beauty! 2000, 33k km. I just love it, I enjoy more than my cb500x
😎
We all enjoy this older videos aren't we.You have great bike,I'm thinking of buying one as a commuter, and I think I can't go wrong with it.
Nice motor I just picked one up today 👍👌
I've had a 90 H GPZ500 with 49000miles, ER500 with 76,000miles, KLE500 with 26,000 and I have just bought a 1994 updated GPZ500 with 29000 miles. lol.
good bike, cheap, looks pretty, reliable, and you can rev the hell out of it, going reasonably quickly and keep your licence. Try that with a 636...
Seems. I'm glad to see it husky side !!!
Just bought a 97 in excellent condition from a private sale £1300. Been sat so needed a carb rebuild for a £20 kit off eBay. Bought new throttle cables £35 and taller screen £45. Rubber grips for vibrations and it's possible the best all around classic out there.
Goes well on main roads and back B roads hunting out café's with mates on smaller machines. Who needs 70-80bhp??
'97 Carbs. ??? My '85 GPZ550 uni-track, had d.f.i. fuel inj., as did my '84 750 turbo, thought it was a turbo thing. March'19, no bike Kawasaki for 27 years, got a 05 Bandit 650 inj. WOW, BEST BIKE EVER, and I'm not even lying. yours truly Scott Loch. Na, Professor Bandit B.T.E. Torque Enjoyment only, nothing technical out. ps. Sadly now a semi retired Crazy Mad, Banditateer fekkin Banditless Banditaholic. Ruined for any other bike, and I ain't even lying.
Good engine
What is compared to cb500 , less reliable ?
Sttonger and faster than honda
A lot faster. Doesn't vibrate at 70 like the honda. Had both and the Kawasaki feels more fun.
@@shiftyshamsk more like be a hair 😉👍🏻 me cb 500 pc26 naked clock 13,3sec quarter mille at 155 km/h on racebox gpz 500 s is good for 13,0 sec at 160 km/h in the same condition +/- so a lot faster is lil exagerrsted sentence i quees 👌🏻 you can say /write this when compare it to gs500 which do like 14,0 sec at 148-149 km/h than yea we can say ninja is alot faster but comapre to cb not really 👌🏻😉
Not sure what i want to ride her or the bike 😂😂
why is there only one front disk up front on a 97 model.
must be built before the upgrade to twin disc
i have an 1987 gpz500r and it has dual front disks
same here 95 and dual front disks.
Some did, some didnt
falsche Spur sonst top video
2nd hand these are soo cheap. My brother tried and tried and failed to sell his, with just 22k on the clock, so I did him a favour and took it off him for 650.
They are a better bike than the prices suggest.
I got one .luv it
Reliability score for a bike he has only ridden for less than a day?
Average reviews, but I'm watching these becuz of this lovely woman. 😁
In 2011 apparently this very bike disappeared
beautiful girl!
This littrle bikes go like the clappers.
i have the 500r
could you please shine some light on me and explain what are the differences between 500s and 500r? i just bought an 500r (1987) and can't seem to find any proper info on it.
+TheZandarts should be mainly the same they did remodel at one point
bananamanstrikesback XD it's just that as i read on the interwebs they manufactured an 8 valve model and mine is a 16 valve or maybe i am just being dumb and with 8 valves it is ment per cylinder? sorry for any mistakes (english is not my first language)
+TheZandarts no eight valves in total
bananamanstrikesback XD hmmm then where can i get some info on mine DOHC 16 valve 2 cylinder, internet is full with information about the 8 valve type.
The bike is not that hot next to her wow
Lovin the V now are ya? ;)
arrgghh ... alternator woes?? more like 3 £400 stators in 1000 miles!!!! F595HGH ruined me!
Gen 1 issue, not this bike
And you had a rear drum brake. Not the same model.
Zed. I hate that
Why are you driving with a finger on the break lever thats not oke !
Correct form😎
