@@dude6783 haha my first bike was a ninja 500 and had every one of those problems too. Couldn't ever get the thing to run properly then someone stole it. Oh well.

@@douglaspropperii5477 yea I did that about 2 weeks ago lmao. I actually went on a long ride yesterday and hit 207 before filling and didn’t even need reserve
Its been a few years since i had that car, i never knew the muffler number unfortunately since i paid an independent shop to source and install everything

Was my first bike. Love that sound
Same here, a '97. I miss it.
If they wouldve spread the gearing out more the 500 ninja couldve done 130-140 but they gave it a tight gear box
Great bike just hate the carb issues it gave me left me stranded 5 times
What carb issues?
@@danielleeson7622 air fuel mixture was fucked up and and carb was dirty and the petcoc was fucked too and there was an airbubble in the fuel filter
Same reason i let this one go for. It ran good enough. But im not carb savy and I ended getting a new bike

Rare bike awesome 😎
They made half a million of them.....
Yeah not rare at all.
800€ in France with a fresh engine and bodywork
Question, I’m buying one tomorrow and I want to know if it has a gas gauge or low on gas indicator
They do not. It's not that common for pre 2010 bikes to have a fuel gauge. Just open the fuel cap and look inside no big deal.
Just run the bike out of gas until reserve and check your odometer to see how many miles is good to fill up. I fill up every 150 miles usually
@@douglaspropperii5477 yea I get sumwhere from 170-200 miles before I need reserve but I fill before just because

how’d you get the camera like that?
Go-pro suction mounted to the windscreen. Wouldnt recommend doing it that way though. Thing fell off at one point

Should be fine. Im 6’4 and it felt small. Its a bit lower in the seating compared to what i ride now
