So sad that some folks think it is just fine dumping their trash on someone else’s property instead of taking responsibility of disposing of it. Your generous time and talent helped this sad little place shine again. Your efforts are much appreciated. You two really are the dynamic duo🥰

Our city used to have large bins throughout the city where people could donate shoes and clothes for those in need. People began piling their garbage in and around the bins rather than pay for the trash removal. The bins were all removed and will likely never be utilized again.

You guys did a magnificent job of restoring that property, and situating all that trash along the sidewalk for the garbage collectors to remove. And you even put up a No Dumping sign in front of that abandoned house. Hopefully the other residents will have a care and not use the property as a neighborhood dump. You may have to redo the property in a year.😊

Pleased to hear that neighbors often take-up care of homes once you get them renewed. Working on this again is not only a reinstatement of standards, but hopefully with trigger the neighbors to help out this time. Underlying, things you worked on earlier, as edging, are not as bad. To recover it though, taking five hours, still says it got pretty severe. I don't think I remember that you got to do the back last time, think of a "green jungle" view, so potentially, this is a further upgrade. A lot of regained space in the back. You earned the right to put up a "no dumping" sign. Thanks for all your work.

The city should install a few cameras and start giving out hefty fines. This is very disrespectful for the neighbors and community. Thank you guys for the excellent work you do.

@leecarey4375 I know how city officials treat people who don't have much. That's why you make more noise. Talk to a news reporter-station.Everyone has the right to live in a safe and healthy environment. That neighborhood will have to take a stand and be heard. Isn't there a city councilman that is supposed to be the voice for their area?

    • @leecarey4375
      @leecarey4375 11 месяцев назад

@@lanejohnson752 I totally agree with you. But these people don't have the time or energy or even begin to know how to begin. Maybe they should hire us...lol. Obviously the city councilman/woman is not doing their job. Typical politician. Makes me angry. We ALL deserve a safe clean neighborhood.

Wow!!!!!!...Unbelievable how people will dispose of their trash due to laziness and destroy their own neighborhood to due lack of motivation to have a nice clean area to be proud of . I am so glad that you and your Dad care enough to give back to the community and clean up the area. While you both were sitting by the curb having your lunch you took me back to my past. I worked the fields when I was a kid and lunch was cold burritos and warm soda under a shaded tree. Those were some of my best memories and I was making money to pay for my school books. Thanks for the memories. Eat up those times that you have with your Father as the time goes by so quick and then its over. Remember that you have this moment and then its gone.🥰😍🤩

    Hi Cris
Yes, it's so sad to see people do that.
That was a lot of trash.
Glad you have a city pickup in your area.
Looked like the next door neighbor has a really nice house. You would think they would at least keep the front mowed to make their lawn look better.
To many selfcentered people now days.
Glad you and your dad aren't one of them.
Wishing you the best of success
    Stay safe

Martin & Daniel, you are the absolute best two people in Houston! Well, and probably your family... 😂
I'm so sad that after your cleanup, it turned into a huge dumpster! Hopefully this cleanup and the sign will make people feel like the property is being watched and it will stop them. That was such a sweet little house at one time with that cheerful blue trim. I love the little back added room - maybe a porch converted into a room. It has great windows.
This was a fun video, though, because we got to spend the day and go to lunch with you (so jealous! I'm having a hot dog today - just not the same, you know?) and a trip to pick up drinks! Best of all, we got to really see your faces without hats and bandanas in the way. And those are two beautiful faces - just like the angels you are!
Can't wait to see what you find to clear up next!
