That is a two way street, so to speak. Yes the birds may now be getting fresh bugs, but you could have also cut down their nests. Same thing with the little critters. They would be hiding in there. I know this is happening in my neighborhood. Every one is cutting down their trees. We don't even half the birds we used to. The squirrels are almost gone. They use to be all over the place. Now we are seeing rabbits more then them. They are coming out of the ground. Also up the street and around the corner there is a little park. Trees around a baseball field. They cut all of the old trees down. These poor animals have no where to go. I live in the city and we even have deer coming out at night.

in fact, the unmown mini-wilderness is MUCH more productive for small wildlife including birds, but the happy little opportunists {grackles or something?] certainly score big time in situations like this - similar to the birds that follow large herbivores around in Africa catching all the disturbed/confused/damaged insects etc..

So answer me this. The property bought by the home owner is actually to the middle of the road. Yet the city decides to place the road there and the side walk. The owner can't do anything about it. The home owner pays city taxes for the city to take care of the road and sidewalks. Yet they should be fined for the city actually doing the city's job? Why isn't the city paying the home owner for use of their land? As well as the city paying the home owner for maintaining the sidewalks? I had this discussion this morning with my mom who lives in a city. I live in the country and the things like this amuses me. Food for thought.

The fact that they actually drop all the cuttings as small pieces you can basically leave in place as mulch is a huge time-saver. I really like my Greenworks battery-powered string trimmer for light work and around walls or fences, but for heavy brush, overgrown yards, small trees, and berry patches, you'll find nothing better than the Oregon mulching blade. Why they aren't advertised here in the States is a mystery, but at least you can get them through Amazon and Ebay. For as economical as they are, you'll be real glad to have one in the arsenal.

I am so impressed with you "HITO" as you came up to the standards of whom your father is and what he is about. He is a hard working man and does a wonderful job at building his business. You working along side of him can be very encouraging to young men your age and not afraid to put in a hard's day work. Your father has character and now so do you, and the internet is very impressed for the way you have stepped forward and showing your father's business and being his right hand. So congratulations on a well job done and made many people respect you and in the growth you are showing. So, thank you for being the son any father would love and respect. 💋💯❣

Once again, how is there no enforcement or intervention by the city or town? Fines levied against current or previous owners? This should not be allowed to go on for years. Unbelievable and unacceptable! Shame on this city. Lucky that people like you step up!
