- In this video my dad and I dove into a literal dump, the amount of trash was just insane. We still got it nice and clean for the neighborhood to hopefully keep it cut.

I wonder where all that trash came from. This is obviously an abandoned house, so I wonder if the neighbors weren't using it as a garbage dump. Whatever the reason it got so bad, you guy did a GREAT job cleaning it up. I love watching you two. Just reclaiming the sidewalk from under all that dirt would made a HUGE difference. You never disappoint with your awesome work ethic, and sense of community involvement.
I volunteer in my city picking up trash there are people that do illegal dumping. I noticed it seemed like there was a small microwave oven. Sometimes there's trash that doesn't fit in the city containers & people throw extra bags at abandoned properties. Some people just throw trash where ever they can, sad!
I agree about the neighbors using it as a dump!
I don’t know if the close by neighbors were throwing stuff in, but that much stuff does not blow in. Now they have sidewalks they can use instead of wading through 6 inches of sticky clay.

Properties like that are almost always bank owned. Why isnt the city code enforcement fining the owner for multiple violations?

Please be careful when picking up trash. There could be dirty needles hidden under the overgrowth as well. Unfortunately those get thrown down as well.

Wow, y’all did a wonderful job on that yard. Never seen so much dirt and grass grow on the sidewalk. Sure was a lot of trash. But as always, he did an awesome job. It would’ve been nice if the neighbors took pride in their neighborhood and did this yard, instead of it being an eyesore. As always job well done, can’t wait to see the next one.

I’ve been watching your you tube channel for 6 months. I love the out come every time. Being 71 I still miss yard work. After my husband passed away I sold the house. Now I live in an apartment. My landlord let me have flower beds.

Wonder if all the neighbors are parked in the driveway and street and instead of putting their empty cans in a garbage bag, they're just tossing everything in the abandoned yard. All those cans and cups looked pretty fresh. Whatever the reason getting it cleaned up is a BIG job.

Great job, guys! It's really amazing that the city or county allows properties to get this out of hand. Yeah, I get it, it's the property owner's responsibility but then after exhausting the process with the property owner the city or county needs to step in before it gets out of hand. If the house isn't fit for occupancy, the city or county needs to demolish the house rather than it becoming an eye-sore or hazard to the neighborhood. These properties are ultimately a lost opportunity to provide affordable housing to families in need. A little investment from local businesses, the city and county can go a long way. I appreciate the work you and your father are doing in your community! Happy New Year guys! Looking forward to more satisfying videos.

Incredible massive transformation! I’d love to see your brother come and power wash the sidewalk and driveway. Maybe now that it’s all cleaned up the drainage will be better so water doesn’t collect on the driveway.
