While headed to another job, I turned down this street and drove right by this overgrown mess. So, I jotted down the address and came back later to get it cleaned up. While taking some before pictures with my drone, a homeless man tried attacking me thinking I was taking pictures of him. Eventually he left as I locked myself in my truck, but I had to keep a close eye over my shoulder as I got this lawn looking great again!

You should place a lawn sign outside places you do for free promoting your business. Something like, “this clean up was donated by @SBMowing and RUclips followers, learn about us and our channel by…” and add a QR have code and your website? For abandoned places you can leave the lawn sign and ask permission of residents when the home is occupied. Just a thought.

Spencer, clearing and cleaning vacant properties is mor than just the appearance. We had a vacant house next door to us, and it became the home and nest for rats. At night, they overtook my wife's vegetable garden and cleaned it out. They can spread disease and can also spread fleas and ticks to domestic pets. The owner of the house was putting it on the market and discovered it was used by a addict who was squatting there. After cleaning, repairing, and landscaping they sold it to a good owner. The addict actually threatened me and another neighbor for standing in our own backyards. Keep up this vital and much needed work.

I think the regulations governing home restoration loans need a good looking at. It strikes me as wrong that a young family can get a mortgage for a "flipped" house but not a smaller mortgage/restoration loan to do the rehab themselves. After all, the flippers make a lot of money off the quick fixes. When my parents got married they bought a 3 bedroom solid brick semi detached house built in 1903. They were the second owners. It needed everything, but it only took them 3 months to make it livable. They took possession in January of 1959 and moved in when the got back from their honeymoon in April of that year. They were lucky in several fronts and could make it work. A young couple now is behind the eight ball.

I was warned by a police man for answering my door with an empty glass milk bottle, he said it was an offensive weapon and I could be prosecuted opening the door with it in my hand. We always leave our empty bottles on the front step for the milkman to collect. Just don't do it when someone knocks on your door or you risk being prosecuted. Even though it saves a trip doing it later when no one is about.

My other question is when cutting down the young trees and bushes, why leave stumps, instead of cutting ground level so they won't trip someone. That leaves a hazard. Wow. The "before" looks spooky and ramshackle. The "after" almost looks like a inviting cottage.
The one "structure" out back looks like the weed trees are the only thing holding it together.
I would have been scared silly after dealing with that homeless guy.
Another terrific transformation thanks to Spencer!🎉🙌👏

Such a shame, because it's a cute house. I remember when these types of homes, were great, inexpensive starter homes. People were so proud of these little 1, sometimes 2 bedroom homes, and took immaculate care of both in and outside. Many couples added additional rooms on, themselves, if they wanted to stay in them, as their family grew. Children played outdoors, on most days, even on cold or rainy days, especially boys, in their yellow raincoats.Thank you for cleaning up the yard.

Thanks for cleaning this one up, it really needed it!!! From the front looking at the driveway, I thought there was a garage In the back, but it turned out to be another house! That one is no longer structurally sound and should be torn down. The front house might be a fixer-upper. So many weed-trees next to the house, good to get them out of there!!! Great job, Spencer!!!

SBMowing, Spencer, you made me laugh with all of your wrestling moves. My Dad & our family were stationed at a military base, which closed decades ago, in the Air Force in Kansas City, Missouri. Dad learned to love wresting there & with the KC Chiefs. I graduated HS & got married in Kansas City. Brought up a lot of memories for me. Be safe, stay healthy & still watch in New Mexico. Excellent job on the yardwork.
