How does this work? We can buy the house, but the land is on a lease?
If you are buying it by yourself you would open a corporation and buy the property through the corporation. If you have a Thai wife that didn't have a sick buffalo when you met her you would buy it with her owning 51% of the property.
Not very fancy, but a very flexible interior. Something like this would be called a starter house in the U.S.
Very pedestrian, no architectural charm anywhere inside or outside this house. For $137,000 USD, Thailand has better properties.

You can’t own a home there, you’d have to put the house in your Thai girls name. I think. Better to just rent.
