It was a peaceful protest until a officer shot and killed Ashli Babbitt, an un armed air force veteran in front of a crowd of protesters. The protesters did not respond well to the dead woman on the floor and turned violent at that very moment. Pelosi turned down the national guard in hopes to make this the biggest shit show possible for political gain and a scape goat to throw out Trumps case. Why did they not simply reschedule it at a later date? Justice was not served and the supreme court failed to fulfill their duty.
