Fantastic rendition of this Brent Dowe and the Melodians song. Incidentally I played in a band whose lead guitarist was the person who played the lead on the original Rock Steady version. Twas a joy to hear this choir sing this beautiful Jamaican song... Biggup
Absolutely beautiful it was a joy to watch you all and to see the two ladies moving and dancing and bending down enjoying the music of my mother‘s country I am west Indian descent, British born, my mother and father from Jamaica and this song is a well-known famous song that everybody in the black community love and you have tackled it well. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

In many parts of the world this genre is super strong in the birth land where it was created its now weaken, all goes back to what Grandma use to say. "WAH NUH DEAD, NO DAHSH WEH"
I found this by accident and cannot stop playing it now, the song normally brings a tear to my eye, but this version turned the tear taps full on. Thankyou from anew fan of the work that you do.
This is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. I have an autism spectrum condition and I suffer with severe long term depression. I've lost everyone and everything I ever cared about. I isolate so I don't have to suffer the pain of loss again. I am numb. I am waiting to die. It takes a lot to move me emotionally. I've trained myself not to feel. Or at least I thought I had. This really caught me off guard. Hearing this has moved me physically, I am (kind of) shuffling. Its moved me emotionally, as I am weeping for the first time since 2018 and I dunno, maybe even spiritually. And yes, I'm going to play it at least 2 more times. I'll also check out the singers and their cause. What a wonderful version of a lovely song. Whoever uploaded this, thanks for making me feel.
