Nice to see these younger guys playing this type of jazz, always refreshing, drummer and bass player just great , not taking away from anybody, keep it coming God bless you all and thank you.
Dans time and groove is just ridiculously good for a guitar player. Those bars in the beginning, seemingly not super complicated but wow, few would play them so convincingly.
Dan Wilson is the man
That Benedetto is gorgeous, just perfect.
Grant Green tone...love it!
One of the best guitar jazz of all Time
The best contemporary jazz guitarist can be argued, but nobody is better than Dan Wilson.
That has to be the coolest living room EVER!❤️
I remember when just the trio came down to Jacksonville University a few years ago, and it was one of the best live performances I've seen so far. Your music still inspires and moves me to want to play, and I thank you guys for that.
That was a great concert!
Great table manners for a great meal
Quiet and peaceful nuclear explosion!
A group of gifted people whose added value brings the music to new heights!
Emmet is the master of ceremonies, Dan Wilson is a real pyromaniac with Aimée Cyrille blowing on the embers!
Kyle Pool and Russel HALL push them to their extreme limits.
An "oye como va" that Tito Puente would not have disavowed
The band is hot !!!! But Dan telling an amazing story with his hands !!!
Thank you for sharing all of these great performances!
Awesome 💯
Love the sound! So smooth.
Raucous and uplifting -Emmet does it again! Thank you

Bellissimo e coinvolgente brano.piacevolissima l'esecuzione.bravi e grazie
Just the thing to get me out of my funk. Keep it coming. ❤️
Como o Dan pausa nas melhores horas possíveis.
Absolutely amazing! I play guitar first and bass and piano and the trumpet all mostly by ear. But I sure would love to learn how to play guitar jazz like that great job all of you !!!!
Oh, that's Joey De Francesco's bandmate! What about Joey himself? Maybe next time with Joey on organ?
RIP
@@hashirami23232 Sad news... Second big loss in past two years after Chick... I'm crying 😢

Y’all are Ripping!
Emmett is not taking any prisoners today .
Wow 🎉🎉 Dan amazing but my Jesus Emmit is special
Fantastic this Dan Wilson! I really miss someone "thinking" like Wes Montgomery! 👏👏👏
"Thinking like Wes Montgomery..." and listening to the other inter-players like Grant Green or to venture beyond jazz for a moment, J.J. Cale. Of course Dan Wilson and jazz seems always to be about virtuosity, rather than disc-covering the contours of an instrument and serving a song. Yet back to your reference of Wes, Ricardo, and James Mills comment a few up this thread referencing Grant Green's tone, no reason twains across genre and even musical vocabulary can't be bridged somewhere in the great beyond of "poetics."
Keep on doing Emmet, Kyle, Russell and Dan (Cyrille Aimee or Lucy Yeghiazaryan as singers) with all of the drop-ins to this 86'd Pandemic Pan-Anthem of improv and inter-play...Y'all may be inside, but lock-down doesn't have to lock the muses and musics up like caged birds. Although, apartment dynamics don't afford those kinda OUTSIDE opportunities quite like the jazz lofts in the affordable downtown neighborhoods of old...

That lick at 3:15 ! So supreme!
Well I guess you don't really need fret markers when you never look at the guitar anyways.
yea, classical guitars never have fret markers...
1:43 The Lick?
almost lol
@@genec8393 i just like spotting it
why is the piano player always trying to look like a girl with his hair?
So sick of this movement to feminization with guys.
He should rather wear his kippa
