Fascinating video! It's impressive to see such a collection of video games, and your passion for them is evident. Your story sheds light on the dedication and commitment that goes into building a collection like this. Thanks for sharing your experience with us!
My best garage sale find ever was definitely a lot of NES games worth $850+ for $40 (seller's price, not my offer). The guy didn't even have them out because he said he knew they were worth money and didn't want to deal with haggling with people. But he said in the moment I asked him for games, they turned into just another box taking up room in his garage that he wanted gone.
When I was a teen I bought an og xbox so I gave my girlfriend at the time my perfect condition NES with about 300 loose games, no duplicates. Because I wasn't using it any more. I wonder some times what that would be worth today 😅
Don’t sleep on first print hang tab Metroid grey box. Best finds: Best game find, Blood Will Tell Sealed for 50 cents. Best game item find, Tails statue from ToyRus for $1500, got offered 5k the same day. Honorable mention, Hagane SNES manual for a quarter, from a game store! And I’m happy to say I still own all 3 of these items. Great video
My best find ever was from a Facebook group call. An older couple sold me their whole collection of SNES, Nes, & Nintendo GC Collection. CIB mint games and consoles. Three years back, and I still have a few games for sale. I just sold Mario RPG for the most ever on eBay. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Best find was also in Michigan. Old lady selling stuff, wife wanted to go to for knickknacks when I discovered Atari, Nintendo, Redline Hot Wheels, and Lionel Trains. Bought $280 worth of items valued at over $4000.
I watched all your videos. This one is in the TOP 5 Procent Ones. It’s one of those videos made with thoughts and not one of those ‘hole crap we have to put something up to show we live’-videos there have been a lot of lately. It’s of of those ‘I gotta remember to watch it again more closely’ ones. So thumbs up for this one!
In terms of great stories, I found a sealed Banjo-Tooie and they only asked for $1. I asked if there were anymore around and they pulled out a box of 16 N64 games (the essentials, Smash, Mario Party, Mario Kart, etc). They only wanted $20, but I gave them $100
Garage sale in 2021 I picked up a shoebox full of Nintendo handhelds. A Game Boy Color, Gameboy Advance, a DS and about a dozen games (including 6 Pokémon games, including Emerald) for $5. Same sale I got a tote full of graphic novels for $20 & a small box of McFarlane toys for $10. Ended up being over $500 value for less than $40. Chase’s favorite Gamecube games for the whatnot giveaway. Favorite platformer - either Super Mario Bros 3 or Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Switch! I love your videos! Pure nostalgia fuel to see these games. NES, SNES, and Genesis was my childhood, N64 was my High school, and the Cube was college!
I've never had a grail video game score at a yard sale (Getting someone's Wii/Wii U collection with great games comes close) BUT my grail story is: Bought a photo album from the 1940s/50s full of candid photos of a celebrity named Dick Contino. Had a bunch of autographed pictures and pics of him and his family through the years. Purchased for $40 and sold for $1,000 to his widow (he passed a couple years prior). Such a random thing to be at a yard sale
Do a lot more than just video games, have to. But we spent $20 on hockey related memorabilia and sold it for over 1k. Also the brand Bernina makes high end sewing machine stuff. Bought one from a storage locker person for $20. Parted everything out, same thing 1k in sales
One of my best stories is when my boyfriend and I weren’t even looking for yard sales but found one. It was a moving sale this older man was having, lots of furniture and dish ware, that kind of stuff. Sitting on the ground in the garage I saw a silver GameCube, we asked about it and he said $3. Took it home and plugged it in, it worked great.
My best find ever was finding a Conker's Bad Fur Day box and manual (box still had its seal but had been opened) for 2 dollars. Out of nowhere i had a CIB Conker's Bad Fur Day, payed no more than 15 dollars for the box and the game in separate sales.
Hello Chase, congratulations to Elisa, you and all the little family on the arrival of Player 3l! I hope that everybody is OK!! Can’t wait to see that sweet little smile on the vlog!!!
I found 8 complete sets of the first 8 sets of Pokémon cards. Paid 1000 for everything, sold it for 32,000 during the Covid hype. Took the lady back another 2500 and she about had a heart attack
I found Clayfighter Sculptor's Cut for $4. I have also found Die Hard NES, Ren and Stimpy Buckeroos, Kirby's Dreamland 3, and Fire Emblem Path of Radiance for less than $5 each.
my best find ever was a factory sealed mario sunshine for 1.99 with a stack of other gamecube games but that was the best one. this was pre retro youtube game hunting....good old days
best find was last summer at an retirement home community sale which i had no idea i was going too! when i got there i was like dang i probably wont find any video games.. FIRST SALE I GO TO, i ask for games - and the guy immediately said yes i do ill take 300$. i had NO IDEA what i was paying 300$ for but oh my gosh, he pulled out box after box after box - full of super nintendo and binders of games including 1 of almost every system ever made. without even looking while i was at the sale i immediately countered at 200$ and he said yes (looking back i feel bad lol). got home and went through everything, ended up with over $7500 in inventory. big name titles were Earthbound - chrono trigger - megaman x2 - megaman x3 - megaman 7. absolutely insane morning and i had no idea what i even bought. stoked for this summer catrp crew!!!!
I feel the too scary part on the Horror games. The first time I played Silent Hill 2 was like a decade after it came out, and I could only play it during the day, lmfao. So happy they're remaking it though, because that game just had such an awesome eerie and creepy feeling - Good video.
For $60 I got a box of sega stuff that included a nomad, 32x, knuckles chaotix and a copy of grindstormer that unfortunately was a none working copy but still valuable. Those were the big items but there was a Genesis and a few cheaper games.
At a thrift store I found swordquest waterworld for the atari 2600. I couldnt remember which of the swordquest games had value and checked on my phone. I was so stunned, Paid $6 and sold for $350.
Awesome collection buy guys!! I’ll keep this short since I’m on my phone and have fat fingers. My best garage sale find was brand new NES & SNES games for $5 each. I think the guys dad was a collector and had passed away and his son didn’t know the value. I bought about 12 games, most notably Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, Super Mario Bros 2 and DK Country - all sealed. Got them graded back in 2015, sold most on eBay. Thank the stars I held off on selling 2 of them until last year and they were worth enough to send to Heritage for them to auction off. It was an amazing find and I still dream about finding something that good again (but know it’s very unlikely). Love you guys ❤
I got an Intellevision with 8 games for $2 at a yard sale. I tested it to make sure it worked then flipped it the same day for $25 at a game store. they put it in the showcase cabinet for $100
5% and I vote for the Switch. International viewer here from across the water 👋 Been following your journey for a while and it's been great seeing the CATRP business and RUclips channels grow. Always try to jump on your Whatnot streams when the time difference allows as they're always great fun. Keep up the great work, gents! ✌️
About a year ago I found the young Indiana jones chronicles on nes for $5 cib in a garage sale. Secondly I found double dash disc and hit and run GameCube disc only for $1 a piece.
My best find to date was a first print copy of Super Mario Kart sealed at a sale in the middle of nowhere last summer! I offered $200 for the game. The guy had a few more lower end NES/SNES titles sealed as well that I picked up and probably a dozen cib NES/SNES titles. There is still treasure to be found out in the wild!
Best find was at a Thrift store. Ape Escape, Skullmonkeys, Bust-a-Groove, and Bust-a-Groove 2 for PlayStation. All Complete and in Very Good Condition, $2 each.
Best find is hard.. pokemon box for 10$, n64 toys r us kiosk for 150$, sears Nintendo display case for 100$, panzer dragoon saga in a sega cd bundle for 50$.. there is alot over the years..
5% club! Just starting with planning out the baseline lists for my personal collection that I want to achieve. You've inspired me to pursue collecting games big time!
Best find Ever: Paid less than $1 for a sealed copy of Soul Calibur on Dreamcast. Had it graded and it got a 9.6 A+ and sold it a few months ago for $1,800 on Ebay
while working for a junk company, I found vintage tube amplifiers and I sold the Lot (of 4) for 2K minus fees. $0, just aa good sweat/workout. All profits.
My best video game pickup all happened at one sale. I got a sealed PS2, a sealed XBOX, 63 PS2 Games, 55 XBOX Games, and 16 Dreamcast games..... for $150. The person having the sale was a woman that had recently lost her husband. Her husband owned a local game store for several years.
I've just gotten into re-selling on eBay part time, yesterday, I asked a local charity store if they had any games in the back, they came back with a box.....of PS1 games. £1 / $1.50 each. It had Dino Crisis 2, 3 Spyro Games, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis & More. Something like £200 worth and I bought it all for £10. Amazing find!
got a monster box full of junk wax for $5. oh and a high grade 56 topps hank aaron that was raw. as a braves fan i only had it authenticated because having a grade would tempt me to sell it.
I love how he dissmissed that 50$ rambo ps3 game... like ehh get that outta here lol.... then a few seconds later... he knows his stuff thats why he's the boss...
BOYS WE GAMIN! Best Find - Garage FULL of ISP tech - Server equipment, routers, switches, printers, phones, etc. Bought about 15k worth of stuff for $175 my 3rd month into reselling. Im not sure I wouldve went full time without that buy. "Coolest Find" - $60 binder of WOTC Pokemon cards that included multiple 1st Edition Shining Cards and 90% of it was MINT. Digimon definitely had the foundation to be "better" than Pokemon, it just flopped because Bandai sucks. I love Pokemon but if Digimon wouldve done the SAME thing as Poke I personally think it wouldve been better.
Best Find Ever!? Einhander. Still sealed! Best sidescroll shooter of all time. Found in a 10 dollar box of PS1 titles I found in 2013 at a garage sale. Parents selling their kid's games is the ultimate score.
Best find ever was my first time garage sailing after watching your guys videos, found a r2d2 Xbox 360, purple gameboy color, and Pokémon silver for only 30 dollars using the power of the ask. The guy I asked had nothing but he called his neighbor and asked him and he brought all of it out for me
Amazing video, and I did make it to the 5% and watched the whole thing. Honestly I could not stop watching to see what was going to pop up. Great SCORE, wish you and your family, and team the best of luck. Keep up the great work and content. I have learned alot and know what I am looking out for this garage sale season
best find ever was a sealed copy of Halo Combat evolved. Retail release. It was sitting in a "throw away" box in a guys locker. I paid a buck for it and sold it for $1200. This was about a year before the graded games market took off so I had no idea that grading was even a thing. Easiliy my best find though.
best find ever? at a flea market 2 years ago bought a fridge plastic bag with written on it "pokemon boosters"... 4 euro for the bag... opened the bag and found there were actually pokemon sealed boosters: Skyridge, Legendary collection and so on... 22 vintage pokemon boosters packs (the cheapest one was a Fossil unlimited booster pack)... more or less 6 to 7 K in value
Best find ever was a CIB SNES Chrono Trigger in minty fresh condition for $1 at a community sale at 12:30PM. The funny thing is that he wanted to sell me an Xbox 360 Deus Ex for $10 but parting with 15 NES & SNES games for $15 was not a problem.
I was watching the moment captured at 6:35 and literally had the same reaction time and reaction as the meme that you used. It was very unsatisfying to hear that rip. Hurt my heart. Any way, Great video guys! Keep at it!
Love how they are buying a collection in the parking lot in front of Replay in Toledo, go there often but the guy was smart enough not to try and trade his stuff to the store.
I mainly sell vintage clothing but one time at the goodwill bins I found DBZ Tenkaichi 3 inside of a Yugioh PS2 case. Here's the catch though, I found the Tenkaichi 3 box an hour earlier and misplaced it somewhere hahaha.
Best find ever ... that's tough ... but my wife last year picked up 2 boxes of Gamecube and PS2 games for $30. The games were in MINT condition including Disaster Report, Ikaruga, Resident Evil games, both Viewiful Joes and more. Mostly baby clothes on the tables but these boxes were sitting in the garage still at around noon!
My two best garage sale/flea market, finds a sealed copy of sonic adventures two for the Sega Dreamcast for five dollars and a copy of death jam fight for New York complete for one dollar
Best finds ever was Godzilla on PS4 for $20 from family video. Another one was a mixture of 100 360/PS3 games from a local pawn shop for $200. A lot of duplicates and nothing super crazy, but it helped me fill out the collection.
My best find was my dad was at work and was going to through something away in the dumpster and he said there was a bag in the dumpster with cables hanging out to he looked in the bag and there was a black n64 with 7 games 1 n64 game and 6 snes games.
My best finds ever was 2 deals about 20-25 years ago. One deal with me finding a Neo Geo AES game system with 3 games and 2 arcade controllers. for $25.00 CND. The ones selling it didn't know or care what they had. I ended up selling it for about $500 US for everything. Another incredible deal was a regular of mine that used to buy stuff from me was retiring and moving away and needed to get rid of his stuff fast to move. He told me $50.00 and I could grab whatever I wanted. I went through his stuff and found mostly TI 99/4A stuff. I had not idea what the value of the stuff was that I got from him until I sold it. Most of the stuff I got was super rare complete in box games, and a number of system with many rare accessories including 3 memory cards. By the time I sold the majority of it I had made $1000 to $2000 CND A really incredible deal. I wish I had most of the stuff I had back in my flea market days because I have $100,000s worth of games at current value ... back then I might have made about $1000+ though. I wish I still had most
Obscure 2 The Aftermath for PS2 on a clearance rack at Movie Gallery. $17. Also a small Game store where I live had PS1, Black Label Silent Hill for $30. Was in Excellent condition CIB.
My best find per cost was Deep Fear - last game produced for the PAL Sega Saturn for about US50cents it's now worth over $400. I got Bonk 3 for the TurboGrafx16 for about $10, didn't haggle with the price just paid and left. I believe that's now about $700.
I’m new to the channel and I’m actually shopping on your eBay now! Haha! My best garage sale find, we were at a church sale, I bought a new atomic purple gameboy and Pokémon silver gold and crystal all for $60! This was 2008 when I was younger and I miss those days haha! Keep up the good work, sincerely, another guy named chase

My best find was Valkyrie Profile at a garage sale for $2 in 2013. That jump started my obsession with game hunting.

I've never had a grail video game score at a yard sale (Getting someone's Wii/Wii U collection with great games comes close) BUT my grail story is:
Bought a photo album from the 1940s/50s full of candid photos of a celebrity named Dick Contino. Had a bunch of autographed pictures and pics of him and his family through the years. Purchased for $40 and sold for $1,000 to his widow (he passed a couple years prior). Such a random thing to be at a yard sale
Fun fact. That Donkey Kong game n watch is the first and introduction to the world for the "D" pad. It has become a staple for controls since.
Do a lot more than just video games, have to. But we spent $20 on hockey related memorabilia and sold it for over 1k. Also the brand Bernina makes high end sewing machine stuff. Bought one from a storage locker person for $20. Parted everything out, same thing 1k in sales
So hype! My best garage sale fine was mad dog McCree for the Wii for $2.50.
Ergheiz was in there as well, but it was open.
...Still.
Best find ever was my first time garage sailing after watching your guys videos, found a r2d2 Xbox 360, purple gameboy color, and Pokémon silver for only 30 dollars using the power of the ask. The guy I asked had nothing but he called his neighbor and asked him and he brought all of it out for me
That's a GREAT score!!
My favorite platform series is Ratchet and Clank. Nice buys, by the way.
It was smart choice for you because you have a following from youtube that supports you.
Amazing video, and I did make it to the 5% and watched the whole thing. Honestly I could not stop watching to see what was going to pop up. Great SCORE, wish you and your family, and team the best of luck. Keep up the great work and content. I have learned alot and know what I am looking out for this garage sale season
These videos make me feel so jealous of people dedicating time, money and effort into something so cool lol. Amazing content.
Wow amazing buys all around! Love the 1 hour video
best find ever was a sealed copy of Halo Combat evolved. Retail release. It was sitting in a "throw away" box in a guys locker. I paid a buck for it and sold it for $1200. This was about a year before the graded games market took off so I had no idea that grading was even a thing. Easiliy my best find though.
shoot! One dolla no holla
best find ever? at a flea market 2 years ago bought a fridge plastic bag with written on it "pokemon boosters"... 4 euro for the bag... opened the bag and found there were actually pokemon sealed boosters: Skyridge, Legendary collection and so on... 22 vintage pokemon boosters packs (the cheapest one was a Fossil unlimited booster pack)... more or less 6 to 7 K in value
Oh my gosh. That is absolutely insane
Best garage sale was $1000.00 flipped from $100.00 VHS
Best find ever was a CIB SNES Chrono Trigger in minty fresh condition for $1 at a community sale at 12:30PM. The funny thing is that he wanted to sell me an Xbox 360 Deus Ex for $10 but parting with 15 NES & SNES games for $15 was not a problem.
A good chunk of this video was my childhood. Great to see older games and systems.
Seeing Asspizza "YES YES" was the last thing id expect to see in a CATRP vid. Great vid!!
Awesome find! my best find in a flea market was a complete in box castlevania legends for 30 cad or 22usd.
You guys are great to hang out with. Thanks for going down memory lane. Frogger, Mario Bros. Jr. & ColecoVision.
“This game is worth about $300-$500” *violently tosses it on table 😂😂
love those good finds. My favorite find was Godzilla for PS4 complete at gamestop for $7
Craziest find I had was Donkey Kong Country 2 SNES soundtrack in a yard sale for $0.50 and the last one sold on Ebay is $800.
Went to the thrift store last week, found Star Fox Assault and Star Fox Adventures for the GameCube both complete. I payed 8$ for both of them.
I wish I still had most
I vote for Gamecube, and congrats chase on the new addition to the family!
Take a shot (of water) every time I (SkyGuy) wheeze in this video.

Shots of water 😮 woahhh there buddy slow down you might hurt yourself
Where do I find you guys? What’s your eBay and Amazon seller names? I want some GBA games to play on my old NDSL

best individual find was probably a virtual boy in the box with some games for a dollar at a garage sale.
WOW, great deals Chase. 🤩So many awesome games!! Bless you 😉I do think it was worth it, I hope so. Awesome stuff guys ❤
