- What would happen if I gave $10 to my crew, and had them turn it into as much as possible in only 3 months using eBay? Would they be able to use the principles I built my business on, or will it be much harder?

Love these videos, very inspiring keep it up
I’ve been following this series from the start and still watched all of this video. Was great to re-live it! And thrilled to see the intellivision sell!!
You could get a lot of inventory by dumpster diving.
Been flipping and selling since 2015 and still learning - Watching your video was inspirational and presention fresh.
I know someone who suffered mental illness, and he went by skyguy tall.
He passed away 17 months ago.
As some who is on disability, this series helped reignite my love for flipping. I started going to garage sales and reached $1300+ in sales on ebay in under a month from watching this channel. I also did around $1500 in gross sales to a local retro store that pays 60-65% cash value.
@@TommyT_ disability receipients can make around $12k a year in other income.
It's $20,000 dudes a snitch lmao but your not doing anything wrong good luck man tell him to get a life lol
@@ReadyToFlipRetro SSI is 20k, disability is $1,050/mo or $12,600 for 2023.
I'm on SSI as well for mental disability is this true? Wed still have to pay taxes as well @@chargerz919

$10 to start a business or $10 on mountain dew. Tough choice
Only if you're an idiot. *sips mountain dew*
"How do you start reselling as a career... you just start" - the absolute best advice. Just go out, look stuff up and you'll figure it out!
I have tons of video games and they sold fast initially but sales have fell off a cliff. I used to sell like 15+ items a month. Now I sel one item every... 2 months? I'm not listing junk and I have great reviews and fair prices. I don't know what happened.
@@redfin382are you selling on market place or online? because if you are selling that slow then i can guarantee you are selling junk or you are over pricing your stuff. As far as if you are selling locally. well most people want to resell items so if you are trying to fetch online prices locally you are bound to be sitting on your stuff for a very long time.
@@redfin382are you consistently listing items
@@redfin382 When did you start? If it was near pandemic/right after most collector stuff took a huge nose dive, especially things like video games. If it's not brand spanking new or super old/nostalgia bait it's pretty hard to get anything decent for used video games.
@@redfin382there was a company manipulating the video game market, there is a pretty good video about it, but basically they would sell expensive "collectable" video games to basically themselves, then they would advertise that it sold for an insane price on their own marketplace, both inflating the value of similar items and increasing traffic to their marketplace, the marketplace also happened to be owned by the same people who owned the grading website that set the value of the items 😂 idk how they aren't behind bars, but they manipulated the entire vintage video game market into a bubble that popped extremely hard, they didn't loose value as the supply is still pretty small, but video games as an investment lost all of its credibility demolishing demand 😅
I gotta tell you. This held my interest from start to finish. This video was very well done. A lot a really great insight here and it shows how organized you guys are with all this. It’s honestly inspiring. Excellent job on this.
I want to see this re done but with out promoting it on RUclips till the end and see the difference in sales over the months.
Then why not do it yourself? Only takes $10 and 10 hours a week.... Why do you need to watch someone else do it when you can easily follow these same steps? Not a do-er? Just a consumer? hmm.
I do. eBay account is 20+ years old 👍
@@totest9117 how obnoxious of you. What was this response suppose to do
@@joelpww who are you?
well I did this started with $100 and only do marketplace currently. Bought ps3, xbox, wii, with accessories, 20+ games, guitar hero set, for $75. Already sold the wii in my first 2 days, sold a couple old games around the house, currently at $700 in maybe 1-2 weeks.
A good tip for anyone reading: if you want free boxes, go to your local supermarket. They get rid of TONS of carboard boxes of many dimensions everyday.
If you have a good relationship they'll let you pick and chose.
Liquor stores are great for durable cardboard, and ALDIs usually have a bunch in the store.
@@muziktrkr good cardboard boxes + beer ? I'm in brother, let's go !
This series was really fun to watch and really helped me out with my eBay business! Thank you so much for doing this and also putting it together so well. Great job by everyone involved!
One of my favourite ever series, love watching the growth of this channel being a subscriber for the last 5 or so years. Amazing work everyone ❤
I'm so glad I've been here from the first episode, was so great to watch this week in and week out! Watching this recap is great, got to experience it all again!
Chase and the catrp crew are the best! Love the series and concept. My wife and I started 1.5 years ago and will likely do 80k in gross sales this year and are part time. So yes for sure possible.
haha im thinking about starting it on the side in addition to my real estate career, that is great to hear patrick, hope I can follow in your footsteps
Do you mind if I ask? What kind of items do you sell? That’s awesome you guys made 80 K this year, good for you both!
Dang! Congrats on selling the Intellivision system. Y’all straight up schooled me on that. I thought y’all were crazy asking that much. I’m definitely eating my words now! Learned my lesson. Great video!
Absolutely love this series/channel. I recently started getting into reselling as a way to save up money for a car and a video like this shows me it’s totally possible if I put the time and the effort in. Thank you! 💯
This is how I'm starting, I have inventory to sell but the experience I got from watching you fellas Rock It, has me inspired! Thank you for everything.
That is awesome!
Such a great series! It was great to see your growth, thought process and beating your goal.
This series was a lot of fun, but I would love to see it going again from the start instead of continued. I think the biggest and most important part of this journey was an expected ROI from the first week of over 6000% and direct profit of 1800% within the first week, which is ludicrous and something you never even came remotely close to in the following weeks. The hardest part about doing stuff like this is getting started, and this is not replicable reliably. It was entertaining, but not realistic.
Agreed. but the solution to this in reality is investing 1000 in your business from the start and not trying to do it for $10, which is just internet hyperbole to get clicks. It's obviously way easier to work a few dozen hours overtime at your real job or at a part time job than to try to turn $10 into $1000 by flipping garage sale finds, unless you get lucky and find impossible stuff the first week.
I rarely watch long videos such as these but I was totally hooked from beginning to end and this was extremely inspirational too.

Sad to see the series end but absolutely loved watching you guys do this challenge!
Such a great series and something I looked forward to every week! I hope after a short break, you’re able to continue it! Brother Dave should be utilized more in videos. 😉
We started with 10 bucks .... immediately finds a sealed sought after remote lol
Congrats again guys! Phenomenal! I'm going to help my nieces start reselling with your blueprint. Thanks!
"Blessed!!!" Perfect choice of the word to use. In glad for you, and glad for the growth of the used retro "world".
Love the series. Want to see more of these Goal oriented long term challenges. Great content form.
Hugely Motivating! Absolutely loved the series!
I just found your Chanel the other day
I have no desire to resell but this is so entertaining
Keep it up guys ! I love it
Brother Dave really made the series special. Was watching this avidly when they released on the CATRP channel
I loved this series so much. You guys were amazing, actually seeing the progress from week 1 to 13 was wild
Thank you so much!
Awesome video. I just started flipping. I just sold a silver dollar for 30 bucks that I've had since I was a kid, and sold a game table that we got as a Christmas present for $100. Used $25 of that for supplies, and $75 at the thrift store. About to make, $2k off of everything. I still have hundreds of old dvd and blu rays I don't watch to go through and some video game stuff.
That Peter impression was on point lol
this is what i needed to see, trying to do ebay but no sales since july. after watching this channel i decided to dip my hand in games etc. during this challange did you guys run into alot of scammers, i jumped the gun on a few offers only to find out they were scamers. would love to see more of this. i also made my photo box out of a banna box
This was absolutely wild. Killer work
I saw every episodes on the CATRP crew channel, what a ride and a great concept! Looking foward to subcribed to the Brother Dave After the Right Price channel😀😀 Thanks guys for your entertaining and hard work!!!
This is so cool and actually possible, great video, love how you showed this process step by step. I have a couple video game systems and other things around my house I'm gonna list on ebay and see if i can pull this off. Thank yoou for the inspiration.
Excellent series, I enjoyed every episode and am looking forward to its return.
A lady I knew some years ago, maybe 20 years, she went to garage sales and bought expensive baby cloths. Pumkin Patch etc. She would go in the morning, make an offer well below asking price, if she got it great. If not she would ask what time they went till. Come back in the afternoon and get a real bargain most times. At the time wages were around $600 a week. She was clearing around 2K a week. It can be done. Good on you men. A lot cry about how tough life is. You start a business with $10, and set the world on fire. Plus the RUclips chanell. Got to love you for that
So idk what I've been doing with my life up until now🤷♀️ bcuz I just discovered Chase (🎵After The Right Price🎶) and ohhhhhh man am I in love... with all the Games•Games•Games! And all of the fun characters (Granny is obvi my fav lol❤) and exciting adventures ya'll are going on! Sheeeeesh I'm just beside myself and overcome with overwhelming excitement for alllllll the videos I can binge watch! I'm a wee bit disappointed in myself for not discovering this whirlwind of a man and his crew sooner however, there's no time for crying or whining because there's a gazillion videos to be watched and tons of knowledge to be had. I could not believe the amazing content in this video and all the invaluable information packaged up and contained in this gem. Thank u Chase and the gang for giving me a front row seat to some great reselling teachings! You've got a fan in me!🤠🧑🚀 (Like Toy Story but fan instead of friend, get it? Get it?) Lol✌️💜✌️💜
Nice job. Other than the convenient cousin with the amazing deals lol. That is a very rare thing that would not happen for most folks.
These videos inspire me to flip anything and everything! I'm a fan of pokemon growing up and I carried my blue version everywhere I went. Keep being awesome!
I looked forward to the new episodes every week! Great series!

Favorite series of CATRP crew. Fills the hole that 10 Dollar Game Collection ending created.
Loved the series! Definitely reignited the flame for flipping!
Awesome series. Thanks for the inspiration!
Really cool video and concept, makes me want to go back to basics and see if I can do it the same way again. But so far buying a storage unit for $10 and selling the contents works best for me so far!
I wanna start reselling I’ve been wanting to for a bit and I’m going to pull the trigger
I’m so glad I found this channel
I’m hooked
Thank you
this is one of the best ebay videos i ever seen... plz do more like this
Loved this series and learned so much!!
Those remotes got me hooked on reselling about 13 years ago my wife and I bought 13 of them brand new for $6 total we listed them same day and sold them in under a hour to 1 person for $1550
Every time I watch one of Chases videos I always learn something while being entertained!
This was such a good series and it's nice to see it here on the main channel
Man, this was a great vlog! Well done!!
Yoooo. I know that exact pawn shop name, and the guy that was selling to you. I’m from that city, had no idea you guys were local!! So sweet!
This series inspired me to start reselling and join the discord. So far in the 2 weeks I’ve been going I’ve made $1300 in sales. Thank you for this series and the resources in the discord!
thats awesome, where have you been sourcing
@@PandaWaffleHD tbh I listened to the suggestions, started with stuff laying around the house then moved onto friends and family. Been to thrift stores and garage sales but not having a ton of luck there..yet.
I’m worry about sustainability in my area but I’m just going to focus on staying consistent before getting too worried.
@@JustinBReno that’s awesome man, I’m thinking about starting it as a side bustle too. I’m assuming you live in a smaller area if you are worried about sustainability
I don’t know if the area is considered “small” - but the pricing I’ve found so far at garage sales, thrift stores, FB marketplace and Craigslist have made it a challenge to find worthwhile items to pickup for good margins.
I’m spending time expanding my knowledge so I’m equipped to find other things outside of toys and video games to make profit on.
I’m sure it will be fine but it will be a grind! So far it’s been a blast.
@@JustinBReno that makes sense, I’m thinking about trying it to since my schedule is usually open with my main hustle (real estate)
Love the content and love when you post more often!
This was such an awesome series to follow!
How much did you spend on food and fuel during all the time spent going out and sourcing items?
Recently found your channel and loving the content !
Gotten a lot out of this series, please continue it. Even if the goal changes, the watch of the whole process is invaluble.
Wow, inspiring to see you guys made a business outta this.
Awesome video as always crew! 😊
Totally fun series and i really enjoyed it very much
Loved the series. Brother Dave was awesome as well as Skyguy❤️
This was amazing!! Very inspiring guys.
Loved this series and looked forward to it every week. Love seeing new videos coming up, thank you for spreading all this knowledge!
Watching these videos has made me want to go back and look through all my old games and get a small ebay business going as a side hustle. I do have an Original NES system, that works in the box which is also in relatively good shape. But i dont foresee myself selling that to start the business just yet
These episodes got me through 10 days of covid. Wonderful content guys
Amazing, hope it continues!!
Awesome vid! Good job boys!
"well Matt's just there" Keep up the great work Matt!
Thanks
This is incredibly inspiring. Thanks guys
Loved this challenge so much!!
What a great way to end an amazing series!
Great series, keep it going!
I wish you had gone over shipping costs, USPS is through the roof now! Shipping a PlayStation Rock band… how can that be profitable? Bowling balls?
Only thing I’ve thought over the series is, are you factoring in gas cost?
brother dave's montages were a highlight of the series
Such a great series.

thanks for the motivation!!!

Can't believe my comment made the video about brother Dave! Was so pumped to see that!
Wish you guys would keep this going but I understand you guys are working your normal 40 plus this. This is the only other content that I would be equally as pumped to watch as I do for the main channel.
Good job guys! This was simply an amazing series.
"Thriller, horror, something. . . " That's Silence of the Lambs! Hannibal Lector!
A few years ago me and 2 buddies got together with a challenge to do something similar for 12 months and see where we would get with that. Each of us put 100$ for it, so 300$ to start, and reinvested 100% of the profit back into it, until the 12th month anniversary, and we ended up with 30k... And we were really proud of that, since we all had 9-5 jobs so it was a side hustle that we would use a couple hours a day (even tho we didn't keep it going for other reasons)... But turning 10$ into 10k in 3 months is CRAZY hahaha, that's awesome guys!!! :D
Keep the series going!
Bonus Vid? Heck Yeah!
Thanks for the tips
Loved the series Crew heres to Waiting for Season 2 to be confirmed
Loved this series
I think they should do this again but not post anything about it until after the challenge was finished so we can see what there sales are when the audience doesn’t know there account ( I’m assuming not saying the audience knew the account name ) while also not having eBay sponsoring it. This would allow the average seller to see what they would be able to expect.
I loved the series though not trying to hate on it
Need more bonus listing montages!
This was such a good series. Wish it was still going. Enjoyed it start to finish! Great job
