I’ve been following this series from the start and still watched all of this video. Was great to re-live it! And thrilled to see the intellivision sell!!
As some who is on disability, this series helped reignite my love for flipping. I started going to garage sales and reached $1300+ in sales on ebay in under a month from watching this channel. I also did around $1500 in gross sales to a local retro store that pays 60-65% cash value.
A good tip for anyone reading: if you want free boxes, go to your local supermarket. They get rid of TONS of carboard boxes of many dimensions everyday. If you have a good relationship they'll let you pick and chose.
I work overnight at a very busy and large Kroger so I've actually thought about it, since I'm one of the ones who actively gets rid of those boxes I could easily bring some home every day and nobody would care
addition to that tip: ask only in super markets, beverage- or grocery stores. hardware stores, clothing stores, home appliences stores usually never give away cardboards becuase they repurpose them later. It's my experience working in all those stores
I gotta tell you. This held my interest from start to finish. This video was very well done. A lot a really great insight here and it shows how organized you guys are with all this. It’s honestly inspiring. Excellent job on this.
well I did this started with $100 and only do marketplace currently. Bought ps3, xbox, wii, with accessories, 20+ games, guitar hero set, for $75. Already sold the wii in my first 2 days, sold a couple old games around the house, currently at $700 in maybe 1-2 weeks.
We sorta did this with storage auctions about ten years ago with $80. We never spent any of the money and bought probably another 10 units in a year. We threw out most of the trash and sold the rest. We always made money on each unit because we never spent more than $100. After about a year that $80 grew to $3000+
I have tons of video games and they sold fast initially but sales have fell off a cliff. I used to sell like 15+ items a month. Now I sel one item every... 2 months? I'm not listing junk and I have great reviews and fair prices. I don't know what happened.
@@redfin382are you selling on market place or online? because if you are selling that slow then i can guarantee you are selling junk or you are over pricing your stuff. As far as if you are selling locally. well most people want to resell items so if you are trying to fetch online prices locally you are bound to be sitting on your stuff for a very long time.
@@redfin382 When did you start? If it was near pandemic/right after most collector stuff took a huge nose dive, especially things like video games. If it's not brand spanking new or super old/nostalgia bait it's pretty hard to get anything decent for used video games.

This series was really fun to watch and really helped me out with my eBay business! Thank you so much for doing this and also putting it together so well. Great job by everyone involved!
I think they should do this again but not post anything about it until after the challenge was finished so we can see what there sales are when the audience doesn’t know there account ( I’m assuming not saying the audience knew the account name ) while also not having eBay sponsoring it. This would allow the average seller to see what they would be able to expect. I loved the series though not trying to hate on it
Those remotes got me hooked on reselling about 13 years ago my wife and I bought 13 of them brand new for $6 total we listed them same day and sold them in under a hour to 1 person for $1550
This series was a lot of fun, but I would love to see it going again from the start instead of continued. I think the biggest and most important part of this journey was an expected ROI from the first week of over 6000% and direct profit of 1800% within the first week, which is ludicrous and something you never even came remotely close to in the following weeks. The hardest part about doing stuff like this is getting started, and this is not replicable reliably. It was entertaining, but not realistic.
Agreed. but the solution to this in reality is investing 1000 in your business from the start and not trying to do it for $10, which is just internet hyperbole to get clicks. It's obviously way easier to work a few dozen hours overtime at your real job or at a part time job than to try to turn $10 into $1000 by flipping garage sale finds, unless you get lucky and find impossible stuff the first week.
Chase and the catrp crew are the best! Love the series and concept. My wife and I started 1.5 years ago and will likely do 80k in gross sales this year and are part time. So yes for sure possible.
