DK Country 3 was my favorite of the DKs... I thought the hovercraft was the coolest thing back in the day.

7:57 OMG i finally found the sega genesis plug and play in a retro video. thanks chase for purchasing it and showing it in a video!! I've been trying to search for it for YEARS based off my memory from i was 5-7 years old. I knew it was a sega and it couldn't be an og genesis. But i was very sure it looked similar. I was starting to think my memory has failed or that my console was a sega fake until i saw this video and i definitely remember growing up with this. This moment in the video really means a lot to me. I can finally end research since I found out what it's called.

Yesterday i dig through the storeroom at my mum's house and found my 24 years old Pokémon card stacks, inside there is 3 charizards, 1 blastoise and 1 venusaur card. I am so shocked! Gonna treasure them forever!!

So Indy for the n64 could also be ordered from the LucasArts store catalog. So if you see clean copies it might have come from there.
its crazy to think how many of these games i had as a kid... and now seeing how rare or valuable they are. At the time, I was a dumb kid who threw all of the n64 boxes away :/

I'm a SNES guy, it's my favorite console of all-time as well as my favorite game Link to the past. First system and game i remember beating took an entire summer.

Love these videos keep up the great work guys :).. I worked for GAME for 25 years so i remeber selling most of these things new and the amount of POS that i have destroyed over the years make me sick now.
I remember sega saying te could destroy the Dreamcast pod how i wish i had not dont that but at least i still have my gameboy colour retail kiosk.
This has made me look up some of the old games and got some nice finds

I think POX had the cool concept in the commercial - every kid would be carrying them and once you were in proximity you could battle. Kind of a concept thats yet to be executed well but good nonetheless. Also the name is 'pox' lol what were they thinking with the marketing
That music playing when you were showing that one box of games made me think of the godfather movie song for video games

The P-O-X are such an interesting system. They used a "viral" campaign which consisted of identifying 1600 "alpha" children (leader in the courtyard) in Chicago and gave them 11 P-O-X handheld each to give to their friend. The campaign worked perfectly and within a month a million units were sold in the Chicago test market. But just before going nationwide, the atrocious 9/11 terrorist attack happen followed by anthrax attacks beginning on September 18, 2001. This raise considerable doubts in the Toys’ R’ Us executive team about the viability of launching such a game about. After some focus groups with parents, they indicated that they would be uncomfortable with their children playing P-O-X. The game was then canceled and never seen a nationwide released, with the renaming units being pulled out of the Chicago store. Some of the remaining stock was eventually found in warehouses and sold off. So while they while some people remind them very fondly, others have never heard of this system.

@@ajax4801 can you explain the controller and code that sold on eBay for $800 on oct 24th, or the stand alone code that sold for $1000 on Nov 15th, or the fact that it’s common fortnite knowledge that the dark vertex skin is rare and expensive

Favourite snes game for me was/is street fighter 2 i only had 3 games but spent so many hours on it, kids today will never know about begging your parents to let you leave the console on all night because you couldnt save and continue you the next day and you had made it all the way to bison 😅

Some blockbuster places would "lose" the VHS or game so they can charge you for it. It happened to us but we never paid for that shit and just walked out and never went back.
I actually sold one of those Nintendo keychains, it was a Spiderman one. It went to Europe.

Mario RPG is the best already. Mario paper is just a side kick. A lot of people bought Nintendo Switch console is because Mario RPG remake.
