Gotta love how ‘The Elder Scrolls’ Theme is continuously adapted to suit the specific cultures of Tamriel. Soule has certainly created a timeless Leitmotif!

Spoilers It's slightly different in the actual mission, tharn (the wizard) isn't the one to release them, he tries to keep the seal intact, fails, they pop out right in front of you so there's no chance they didn't see all 3 of you. The big green horny guy screams "we're finally free brothers" and then they all fly up through a hole in the ruins ceiling. So basically they didn't care for killing you because they were in a hurry to get away from their "tomb" I'm guessing.

To answer some questions that seem to be getting repeated in the comments: The Dragonborn is not the only one capable of killing dragons. If that were true your average town guard wouldn't be able to steal your kill. The Dragonborn is the only one who can take a Dragon's soul, meaning they die permanently with no chance of resurrection. The only reason why Dragons are such a threat in Skyrim is because Alduin is actively raising them from the dead. On top of that, the people crying wolf because "There are no dragons before Skyrim", I refer you to M'aiq: "Dragons were not gone all this time, they were simply invisible, and very, very quiet." While a huge majority of Dragons were killed during the Dragon Wars, there were survivors. In Skyrim alone there's at least four examples of this including Paarthurnax, Durnehviir and that blind dragon trapped beneath Blackreach. Hell, in Redguard there's a Dragon called Nafaalilargus who was obedient to Tiber Septim. In other words, the surviving dragons tended to remain hidden or were otherwise trapped...much like the one in this trailer, it seems.

As long as they don't go overboard with the dragons, a few named ones as bosses is fine, random dragons that fly around and fight you would be overkill.

In fact there are many different kinds of Khajiit but we only see one kind because of gameplay reasons. There are Khajiit that are as small as a house cat and others that are huge like a mammoth, I'd imagine that the Khajiit in the mural is a different kind of Khajiit then what we're used to.

Yep, the City is Rimmen. The 'escort' is a prisoner, the breton from the first trailers, representing the player and the necromancer class. Just cause they are argonians doesnt mean they are part of the Ebonhear Pact. Most of Blackmarsh isnt and it plays after the Planemelt anyways. Some say they are Archeins who work for anyone and you CAN see them in the Morrowind trailer proctecting a dunmer as well.

I've been thinking about this a lot. Todd is a marketing guy who can get his products hyped but they are actually pretty shallow and seem like a milking device. It's business. How much they don't care about us is obvious thanks to how they fail to fix any bugs, not just the ones in the game but also the ones regarding creation club for example. The Zenimax team on the other hand actually seems to be close to the players, playing their own game, communicating, endorsing fan creations and advertising community events. They seem like actual fans of the TES world, and not just tricksters who try to milk us.

Everyone like "is it even worth playing?" Give it a go and find out, only you know that mate. If you love TES games from MW times to oblivion KOTN etc there's no reason why you wouldn't try it. To the people put off by the gameplay, play it differently. I think most forget there's 1st and 3rd person camera modes. 1st person mode is the best story setting in my honest opinion. 3rd person setting for PvP or world antics. Plenty of customisation, plenty of quests. It's everything you want in an MMO. All these young players don't really realise what grafting is. It's not all about clear PvP scenes. It has dungeons similar to how WoW Vanilla was, let's not forget how big that was back in the days(MMO OGs will know). My conclusion is, it's a bangin game. Whack on some music and venture on to wherever you want. Sometimes the loading screens freeze and all the other glitchy shizznizz but what game doesn't these days lol. Best MMO on PS4, much better than Neverwinter personally. I like fluid movement whilst using abilities where on Neverwinter you stand like a prick and fire shots.

The start is by far the worst part... It took me about 50 hours of play to learn the game, but after that its amazing and you can put another 1000 hours in no problem. If you are on the PC EU servers I would love to help you to learn and get into the game (:
A huge thing that can really keep you interested in a lot of people's cases is finding a good guild to settle into and expanding from there. A home base as it were because when you first dive in or come back after a long time it is a sea of overwhelming stuff for most. I could refer you to a few even, if you ever pick the game up again!
It's an MMORPG.... It's supposed to have a decent learning curve, that's what rewarding progression is about. Something alot of games forget. If it was too easy or you were given everything within minutes, it would get boring quickly, which happens with most games these days. People move on from games like that within a week or two, meanwhile, the games that do have a a little bit of a grind or require you to think for yourself to figure things out, always seem to have substantial player bases over longer periods of time.
@@scottg4520 It will use a very upgraded version of that engine. Still kinda garbage since its outdated but it will look probably far better than FO76. Remember we get improvements to the engine from Starfield as well.
@Azhureus It will be. Same thing as starfield. The engine will be massively upgraded. From the E3 trailer we got which is in engine footage, I think it will look pretty good. The reason people still play these games though is the modding community. Without them the games would only be popular for a year or 2.
@Azhureus I read quite a bit on it yesterday after seeing this comment. Apparently they WILL upgrade it quite a bit for starfield and even more for TES6, so it won't be as bad as it sounds. But using the same engine they used for Morrowind will surely give us some interesting bugs and problems.
I just want to mention that, back in 2011, i predicted "Elsweyr" to be the next TES (VI). Now they used it for the online series, well close but no cigar.

@@hospitalieris8753 Not really. Dragons were still in the world before Alduin's return. There were so few and so scattered that the common consensus was that they were extinct. Dragons were always on Nirn. Only a Dragonborn can permanently kill a dragon.

Alinor looks really good when you walk the streets. Its way more alive then for instance: Stormwind in WoW (and I mean the NPC not the players) also, the city gives me really the sense of being a large city.

I see you know nothing of the lore. Most dragons were "dead" in the 2nd Era, but not all of them. Tiber Septim had his own personal dragon and Paarthurnax would still be living on the Throatbof the World. Dragons can still be killed, just their souls can't be eaten

However, novels are far easier and cheaper to produce, and they engage their audience more richly than films do.
That said, what about a television/streaming series? If you nail the writing and cast good actors, it's pure gold! Lasts longer and so can tell more story than a movie as well.

Yep, the City is Rimmen. The 'escort' is a prisoner, the breton from the first trailers, representing the player and the necromancer class. Just cause they are argonians doesnt mean they are part of the Ebonhear Pact. Most of Blackmarsh isnt and it plays after the Planemelt anyways. Some say they are Archeins who work for anyone and you CAN see them in the Morrowind trailer proctecting a dunmer as well.

I've been thinking about this a lot. Todd is a marketing guy who can get his products hyped but they are actually pretty shallow and seem like a milking device. It's business. How much they don't care about us is obvious thanks to how they fail to fix any bugs, not just the ones in the game but also the ones regarding creation club for example.
The Zenimax team on the other hand actually seems to be close to the players, playing their own game, communicating, endorsing fan creations and advertising community events. They seem like actual fans of the TES world, and not just tricksters who try to milk us.

Give it a go and find out, only you know that mate. If you love TES games from MW times to oblivion KOTN etc there's no reason why you wouldn't try it.
To the people put off by the gameplay, play it differently. I think most forget there's 1st and 3rd person camera modes. 1st person mode is the best story setting in my honest opinion. 3rd person setting for PvP or world antics.
Plenty of customisation, plenty of quests. It's everything you want in an MMO. All these young players don't really realise what grafting is. It's not all about clear PvP scenes. It has dungeons similar to how WoW Vanilla was, let's not forget how big that was back in the days(MMO OGs will know).
My conclusion is, it's a bangin game. Whack on some music and venture on to wherever you want. Sometimes the loading screens freeze and all the other glitchy shizznizz but what game doesn't these days lol.
Best MMO on PS4, much better than Neverwinter personally. I like fluid movement whilst using abilities where on Neverwinter you stand like a prick and fire shots.
Probably the best looking Khajiit I've seen.

Everytime I watch one of these trailers, it makes me wish i could get into the ESO, but I've tried it 3 times and I can't.

The start is by far the worst part... It took me about 50 hours of play to learn the game, but after that its amazing and you can put another 1000 hours in no problem. If you are on the PC EU servers I would love to help you to learn and get into the game (:
A huge thing that can really keep you interested in a lot of people's cases is finding a good guild to settle into and expanding from there. A home base as it were because when you first dive in or come back after a long time it is a sea of overwhelming stuff for most. I could refer you to a few even, if you ever pick the game up again!
It's an MMORPG.... It's supposed to have a decent learning curve, that's what rewarding progression is about. Something alot of games forget. If it was too easy or you were given everything within minutes, it would get boring quickly, which happens with most games these days. People move on from games like that within a week or two, meanwhile, the games that do have a a little bit of a grind or require you to think for yourself to figure things out, always seem to have substantial player bases over longer periods of time.

@@scottg4520 It will use a very upgraded version of that engine. Still kinda garbage since its outdated but it will look probably far better than FO76. Remember we get improvements to the engine from Starfield as well.
@Azhureus It will be. Same thing as starfield. The engine will be massively upgraded. From the E3 trailer we got which is in engine footage, I think it will look pretty good. The reason people still play these games though is the modding community. Without them the games would only be popular for a year or 2.
@Azhureus I read quite a bit on it yesterday after seeing this comment. Apparently they WILL upgrade it quite a bit for starfield and even more for TES6, so it won't be as bad as it sounds. But using the same engine they used for Morrowind will surely give us some interesting bugs and problems.

@@hospitalieris8753 Not really. Dragons were still in the world before Alduin's return. There were so few and so scattered that the common consensus was that they were extinct. Dragons were always on Nirn. Only a Dragonborn can permanently kill a dragon.

To be honest they don't really look that bad when compared to other mmorpg games.
Alinor looks really good when you walk the streets. Its way more alive then for instance: Stormwind in WoW (and I mean the NPC not the players) also, the city gives me really the sense of being a large city.
I hope that city will exist at that size in the dlc. Even if they have to split it up into different zones.

I see you know nothing of the lore. Most dragons were "dead" in the 2nd Era, but not all of them. Tiber Septim had his own personal dragon and Paarthurnax would still be living on the Throatbof the World. Dragons can still be killed, just their souls can't be eaten
