I like that the focus isnt just another supernatural threat by dragons or daedra, but instead a mysterious group trying to overthrow the government. It's a breath of fresh air.
Politics are a major plot point in the daggerfall storyline... it's boring.

Aside from Bound By Flame and Shadow of War, it's the only game i recall where they actually have those scabbards, which honestly should be more of a thing.

I just love the atmosphere of this. I love how it clearly is high fantasy, but takes heavy inspiration from medieval Europe in architecture and style. The fantasy armor of the characters mixed with medieval style of the commoners around them, it makes for a great contrast and it looks great.
It's good to see that there's people that apreciate the inmersion, style and armony of the world. In my main MMO I see knights with shields and swords fighting side by side with gunshooter dwarfs and gnomes on mechas 😢

I'd say high fantasy often does take heavy inspiration from medieval Europe in architecture, style, class structures, governments, and folklore

Honestly I have mix feelings about eso it's well developed and everything but it's not great if you don't have better add ons which are just too expensive I wouldn't mind paying for it but each one cost for as much as a game other than that I really enjoy it and yeah it does take time getting use to
Nord bro will always be my favorite out of this trio, he just absolutely gives no fucks. We've seen him:
-Fight undead werewolves
-Fight Mannimarco
-Escape from a literal soul gem
-Fight even more werewolves
And now he's ramming down doors like a SWAT team speedrunning a crack den.
Mannimarco killed him, and sent his soul to Coldharbour. The Elf chick, presumably, killed Mannimarco.

@@splatterking1171 that was never shown. All that was shown is the Nord waking up in coldharbour, and the elf chick walking towards the throne room. There is no way a simple warrior, no matter his skill, and as wounded as he was prior to the fight, could have beaten Mannimarco at his full strength. The Nord and Breton together couldn't have beaten Mannimarco; the former couldn't even 1v1 a flesh collosus, and the latter's physical limits were made clear when he attempted to take on a Xivkyn leader. The elf, on the other hand, stood more than a chance, and because we never see her in Coldharbour, only the Nord, it can be assumed the Nord was the one who mantled the power of Akatosh and defeated Bal.

also if someone is strong enought to do something like that with greatsword it means he has some extream strenght, add to that his armor and he propably is some kind of magic bosted being as I don't see anyone managing to do something like this with normall human strenght (corect me if I'm wrong but I've never heard of annyone being able to do something like that with sword like that...)

@@mattor300 Im pretty late but... irl greatswords are not that heavy. There are many vids of people wielding Montantes and Zweihänders with only one hand. Considering that the "Nameless Knight" is extremely powerful, spinning a greatsword is well above his abilities.
@@acomment1798 again its not about spinning it, its about the gorce and way he uses it, that is unnatural, add to that the weight of his armor and the share strength of his moves, essentially I'm just saying he uses magic to enchance himself in sone way as thats pretty common in this setting
Some 9 years ago we saw these 3 get introduced as sort of self insert characters for the alliances. But after seeing them go through everything since then. Summerset, Elsweyr, and Greymore. Its really cool seeing the 3 of them all together again and now working together. Theyre like best frenemies and I need to see them introduced as a trio in the game and hear them banter with each other during quests. Please someone make a show or write a story about this
It'll never happen within ESO since they're technically the player character(s) but I'd definitely watch a series about those 3. They've got the most recognizable and coolest designs out of any TES character, they don't even have any dialogue and yet they still got chemistry with each other.
A show like Arcane focused on the trio during (or even after) the events of ESO would slap.

I agree, but Arcane is a fantastic animated series. Only one season has been released so far, but more is to come. It was rea;;y well made in my opinion, and the animation quality was amazing.

It's oddly satisfying to see the trio work together. I'm starting to want to hear them talk and make backstories for them. Their lives and motivations for fighting in their alliance, and having them becoming fast friends.
The three Alliance Heroes are supposed to represent the Player. They like generalizations of the Vestige.

@@becob9752 I am enjoying a lot playing a story driven mmo, it s unique. I am sick of wow and other games based on burning souless content and learn boss mechanics and filling skill trees on top of other skill trees. I really found a home in this game and at least for now, I would change nothing.

This trio representing the three factions is still one of the coolest and best designed groups I've seen in a fantasy world. I don't know why, I just love each of their designs so much, and they fit together perfectly. Outfits/armor is also just perfect, especially with the CGI quality in these trailers. Just art appreciation.
The elf should have golden skin if she's supossed to be an altmer.

At the top of the tower, when the Breton hands the Elf his knife. Basically a “end it, please” kind of deal. Instead, she casts a spell on the blade so when she cuts him, it revives him.

I think that these three are representing the players. That's why we don't see them in the story. Because we are them in it.

We definitely need some new magicka weapons IMO. Sick to death of staff's. Either that or ZOS needs to let us determine what resource is restored with heavy attacks in weapon skill lines. Being able to toggle between magicka/stamina needs to happen.

Great reveal. On a side note, the more I see those great characters the more I want them to be ingame as npc or even as companions with a great storyline taking place over the course of an expansions year. Same goes for the characters from the Blackwood cinematic

they ARE supposed to be player stand ins, yes. blackwood cinematic characters are also actualy in game. Lyranth, Eveli Sharp arrow, etc - they are returning characters too from older content

For anyone wondering who makes these trailers, they are an extremely high end animation studio called Blur that made trailers for a lot of games including dark souls, league of legends, warframe, and now Sonic 2 apparently.
On one hand, we're finally getting a look at the Systres and the Bretons are getting some much needed love, since all their zones were released at launch.
On the other, the Systres aren't part of Thras...
