Speaking of fun facts: a lot of JoJo itself is fun facts Araki learned and incorporated into the manga. Weird things like grip strength in Battle Tendency and beetle biology in JoJolion for example. That's one of the big reasons why JoJo is so "bizarre".

Not a criticism of JoJo, just something I should note. Sometimes the facts are wrong. I suspect that was the process behind the scientific explanation on why you pee yourself in zero gravity during the Jumpin' Jack Flash fight.
The real reason has to do with you not feeling the weight on your blatter and not knowing when you really have to go. It has nothing to do with your kidneys or your blood.

I still hope Araki does something with the concept of a full ally/jobro turning against the main group, lke his original plan for Fugo. Imagining Giorno having to fight Fugo would've made for such a sick scene in my opinion, and I'd love to see that concept in part 9 tbh. Part 8 was somewhat close, with a huge cast of fairly grey main characters sometimes opposing eachother, but nothing on the level of a full ally, like Fugo, betraying the group like he wanted.

      Another one:
One of Araki's assistants from 1988-89, Reki Taki, would later be a background artist of the JoJo anime starting in Part 3. According to Taki, he was fascinated by the way Araki illustrates the backgrounds. However, he found the tasks quite difficult to handle, and Araki often scolded him as a result. 25 years after he resigned from his job as an assistant, he coincidentally joined the production team for the JoJo anime as a background artist and continues to work to this day.
Some weird fact I learned from him is that Reki Taki, alongside Hirohisa Onikubo, also Araki's assistant-turned-key animator in the JoJo anime, are known for making *hentai doujinshis.* I'm not making this one up.

In the anime, when Jotaro breaks Dio's skull we see an X-ray shot that shows an odd lump on Dio's right shoulder bone. This lines up with where Jonathan had been impaled in the shoulder when Dio first became a vampire. Since Dio is using Jonathan's body, it's likely that's where the injury had healed and formed a bump, as can be common for broken bones.

In the game All Star Battle, if Kars is in a Mirror match with himself, he will quote his Jorge Joestar line: "I am alive! My body didn't die, but my life is just as weak and fragile as before".
According to Morioh RADIO 4 GREAT, Toshiyuki Morikawa, Kira's Japanese voice actor, was given a amulet by Araki at the recording site.
Street Fighter's Guile was inspired by J. Geil in name, Polnareff in design, and Stroheim in hairstyle. In addition, his Sonic Boom attack was originally being called Divine Sandstorm.
Tamaki Damo's appearance and backstory seem to be inspired by the 2013 film American Hustle and it's character, Irving Rosenfeld.
According to lead vocalist to the American pop-rock band The Fold, Dan Castady, he would be ok if his band was referenced in JoJo.

    Some voice actor-related trivia:
    1. The Japanese voice of Vanilla Ice, Sho Hayami, had been playing the character since the 1998 game Heritage for the Future, making him the only JP VA to play the same character for a long period of time across different JoJo media.
    2. The JP voice of Joseph Joestar in the Stardust Crusaders OVA is Chikao Otsuka, who is the late father of Akio Otsuka, the voice of Wamuu. Chikao is notably for being the voice of Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik in the Sonic the Hedgehog series for so long, from 1998 until his death in 2015.
    3. In the anime adaptation of Diamond is Unbreakable, Tomoko Higashikata is the only JoJo anime character to have 2 JP voice actors within the same season (Joseph does not count). Her first voice actor, Megumi Toyoguchi, played her in episodes 1-15, but later left due to maternity leave. Shizuka Ito would later play her from episodes 31-39.
    4. In the English dub of Stardust Crusaders, specifically in the final episode, Matthew Mercer, the English voice of Jotaro Kujo, made a reference to Overwatch. His line, "if this were the Wild West, the hero would say 'it's high noon'", is a reference to the Overwatch character McCree, who is also voiced by Mercer. Coincidentally, his JP voice actor is Jurota Kosugi, who is also the voice of Jotaro in the Stardust Crusaders OVA.

@@pbrunet44 He never made that comment. He only said that he modeled his whole style after that man. It seems perfectly sensible to encounter a kindred spirit by chance. People get caught in snow storms all the time. Just because it isn't likely doesn't mean it isn't possible. You would not be here if your mother and father had not met. It is extremely unlikely that they would have met and conceived you, yet they did, and here you are making a comment about how encountering a kind stranger is illogical in a world where we know fate is a real and powerful force.

@@letsbetheawkwardkquorter7159 THANK. YOU. So freaking much. It kills me how many people say "well this character made this statement" despite that statement not existing in all of JoJo (just like how people claim Emporio received a Joestar birthmark... even though it literally never happens in all of canon).

yeah, as soon as you look a bit, the theory falls apart. to me the biggest thing is Koichi is telling the story. he never saw the dude, so of course he'd have him look exactly like Josuke in some ways because that'd be logically what his mind interprets the guy to look like.

thanks for the facts hamon beat!!! :3
even though i can understand why not as it probably would've been hard having polnaraff agreeing with the guy that nearly killed avdol joining them (would've loved to have seen that in eyes of heaven and feel the spinoff is another take at that idea.) but would've liked to have seen hol horse as a crusader and getting into the scenarios they got into & find it funny joseph is the 1st jojo to appear in the shonen jump crossovers as he was in the 1st famicom jump along with santana(hope we see a jump super/ultimate stars successor for the 55th anniversary or an ova/movie with shitani's visuals.:3).
