    This is so amazing!! While watching you sculpt, I was also able to appreciate the original illustrator, and the details of their work. I love watching artists studying other artists; it's like a secret wordless language that only artists share where the concept of "exposure" doesn't exist!

      Yes as a 3D artist you have to pay a lot of attention to details and you need to know what the original idea of the concepts was.

    Hey, thanks alot for your videos, really inspiring and helpfull !
    Could you go a bit more in detail at what you did exactlly at 12:01 when you dynamshed the part of the face together and project details because as a beginner I have a few interogation :
    - Did you project detail from the subd part of the faces to your new dynameshed face or is the opposite and you dynameshed the face together to make more detail and project those on the face you zremeshed a bit later ?
    - By any chance, do you have any source of tutorial on projection details ?
    Again thanks alot for your work !

      Hey, thank you so much that you saw my video and try to learn from it. It makes me happy to realize that people are actually analyze my videos that way.
      So first you have your base mesh, made from primitives. You can add as much detail as you want to this stage but I leave it mostly pretty basic and work on proportions first.
      Then create a copy from it when you are happy with the proportions and dynamesh the geometry together on the copy. Now you can work on details on the dynameshed head. When you are happy with your details make a copy again and ZRemesh the head at a low resolution. Now project the details on the "better" remeshed head. You even can project your poly paint if you already have some. It's a very dynamic and staigt forward process that's why I love using ZBrush so much.
      I hope I could help you with my answer.

      @@viktor-moor I have a question too. You wouldn't want to do this if you were sculpting a mesh for physical 3D printing right?

    • @viktor-moor
      @viktor-moor  Год назад

      @@EllieWilliams-ju3zm Hey, thank you for your question. actually you do not need to do it when you do 3d printing because the details are so small, they do not apear on a printing. but when you struggle with keeping lines like the eye lids clean and nice, you should do it for printing modeles too.
      I hope this helps you to make your printing models. happy sculpting! :)
