In this Zbrush beginner tutorial I go over all the most important tools that Zbrush has to offer and more! I aim to continue with a higher production level moving forward, something I have been wanting to do for a long time. :) Let me know your thoughts!
I wish you would continue to create another breakthrough tutorial of Zbrush (and others in the future) that moves into sculpting, animation, render, and under the shortest possible amount of time covering all what we need to be professionals. If you did that you will be a legend in RUclips 👑and highly recommended 🙂(you already reached over 133k views in this video !! numbers don't lie)
@@unit102 Those are very kind words! Life is so crazy at the moment and I don’t have the income or spare time to make videos full time unfortunately 😭😭 Some day I would love to return to the RUclips life.
I enrolled a 3d modeling course in one of big, world known studios. Maya teacher is great but Zbrush teacher doesn't explain as good as you do so after an hour long class... I learned less than from this video. Obviously, I had to look for it on RUclips. Very useful! I will go through your channel, this is awesome!
I really appreciate this style of intro tutorial. One of the biggest challenges for me when learning 3D skills from RUclips tutorials is that videos aimed at absolute beginners tend to go through every step very slowly and digress a lot, and as badly as I want to pay attention my brain immediately starts bouncing off the walls wanting to get started instead of learning every part of the UI. And the biggest problem with that is that most 3D software--and Zbrush in particular--is not friendly to poking around without some grounding, because there are prerequisite steps for many basic functions that are very easy to get stuck on, and the answers to "How do I ____?" are often found in the intro videos. I'm grateful to everyone who does tutorials and this mostly comes down to how I learn, but getting through the basics so quickly made it really easy for me to follow. Even though I've been using Zbrush for about a year I learned a lot from this, especially the logic behind why some functions work the way they do.
I second this. It's especially hard if you already have experience with 3D and other programs and you want to transpose it to another software, like Zbrush. I quickly lose interest when I get taken from ground 0 and I might end up not paying attention to very crucial info that's been planted there, just because I got distracted. I then get frustrated and abandon the thing I want to learn. I like a 'sculpting' approach. Chisel out a large shape, then focus on minute details later depending on your needs.
Thank you for this quick tutorial reference guide. It's a great way to go straight to whichever section of video one needs in order to get to the answer they need the quickest so workflow is affected as little as possible.
@5:49 was the best use of that effect. That was Hilarious. Very helpful video. This is totally perfect for people coming from other modelers too, like me. Thanks!
I appreciate this, I literally went through these super complex videos trying to figure out how to sculpt imported items with the symmetry, and all I needed to do was click x. you saved me with this quick easy run through of thing you can do.
Man, you are the only one who gets right to the point! A bit fun inbetween, but no uncessary bla bla! Subscribed and from now on following everything you show me! 🚀
this is so helpful 🥺😭 please come back to youtube! (unless of course u cant for personal reasons, in which case i wish the best for you !!) much thanks from the philippines 💖
at first i thought, no way this can be helpful because how short it is- I was wrong! So very helpful to me- about one month into using zbrush for first time!
This video was absolutely brilliant! So quick and methodical for all the important things. Never knew about the tablet menu, ill definitely have to check my settings in that. Thank you!
TYSM! I have alot of experience with 3D modeling software and needed a quick-start guide to understand the software. When you've worked with 3D modeling softwares for that long, they all sort of feel the same but since I'm just starting out with z-brush, being able to jump right in is what I needed!
i haven't started the video yet but i just wanna let you know i have to hand in a sculpture in 12 hours that is my midterm and i'm putting all my faith in this 8 min video
love this one, switching from blender to zb, this really saves me a lot of time, thanks! (I just wanna start sculpting but I couldn't move Zbrush's viewport lol)
Having used Zbrush extensively many years ago, this was the perfect vid to get be going again! Im sure there's a ton of stuff I need to be updated on, but I want to just get in there and start creating again.
super job your zbrush classes on skillshare are top notch your channel here on youtube is woefully underappreciated many thanks for sharing your knowledge
with it in a few weeks or months if I pour enough ti and effort into it. I'll be watcNice tutorialng many more of your videos for tips and inspiration.
Back in zbrush your vid reminded me all that I need to reenter sculpting! tysm +1sub (also other thing ill prob add is saving as ztl file don't save the timeline and your project is smaller in my old pc I lose some projects due to them crashing when opening)
This video was very helpful, thank you. I had to drop my z-brush class back in college due to mental health issues and I've been wanting to learn again after sometime.

I’m very glad to know these videos are helpful. Thanks so much for watching! 🙏🙏
Very interesting comment. I personally can't follow any guide unless it goes into detail on every single minuscule aspect of the program.
Yep. 3D software is challenging to learn.
