Im 18, my dad passed away about a year ago, we were planning on working on a 1978 Camaro and make it look just like the one he had when he was my age, sadly we never got to even get the car and being honest this video brings a tear in my eye, appreciate your dad and love that camaro til death man!:)

This goes to show you that you don't need to spend $100,000+ at the restoration shops. This is very humbling and I am sure there are a lot of people out there like myself who want to restore a car but don't have that kind of money to pay shops to do it. Thank you for this family oriented video, Brody. You guys did a great job,! God bless.

Most of the time when you pay 100k it's for rusted chassis and rusted body. This car was in good shape and didnt take to much to get it restored.

I was a lead painter in a pro body shop for years and for an outside job with a house paint gun it don't look bad from the video ... good job

Just like your son , I also had a 79 camaro. I also restored it myself. From engine to dash cluster to rugs. Seats , rear end, drivetrain, body work, power windows, etc etc etc the things that I learned and there's nothing more rewarding than to drive something down the road that turns people's heads and know that you did it yourself. Your son's going to have a lot of fun with that vehicle. I know I did.

You guys did a great job. Hopefully, my 81 will come out this nice. I did have a 75 Buick regal with a single stage paint job cream in color. Surprisingly the paint held up well. The gloss wasn't as shiny as base coat clear coat. But still nice

That’s probably the craziest way Iv ever seen a car get painted, totally bizarre !!! Plus it never was a Z28 , its a camaro !!! It can still be badass just being a camaro, I would have to see this one in personal to properly judge it, I’m still confused on the paint job and how it was laid down !?!? Totally crazy 😜

Aww this ain’t Nooo real Z28 it’s just a regular Camaro it’s missing the air flares on the front quarter panels it does look good though in the pictures but I don’t know about the paint lasting very long I don’t think you guys sanded it and clear coated it and sanded it again im thinking not and it’s going to start chipping away
