This display is bar none the best there is, performance is more than adequate, though I really never push these types of devices. I love having a file manager, HDMI out, UI customization, ect. Hi, my iPad mini 2 just broke and I need something under $200 to replace it for mostly mobile gaming. It’s now 2019 and I’m wondering if this model is still worth getting or would the new Tab A 10.1” be better? The best I can afford in both is the 32GB so I know that the S2 has 3GB Ram and the Tab A only has 2GB but it’s a 2019 model, so can you please tell me which would be better? I just splurged on a Apple IPad Pro 12.9” for artwork but it’s too big to carry around the house for mobile gaming so I really just need something for that and like emails and web browsing. I’m disabled and home bound so I just need something light and portable to replace my iPad mini. I’m not very tech savvy so I really appreciate any help you can offer!! Thank you so much!!
I was going up with tab s but s2 got launched now i m in a dilemna about the 16:9 ratio experience, better ppi(288), i.r, flash, big battery factors in tab s against new touchwiz experience, 4:3 ratio, fluidity, finger print scanner, latest android, faster processor in tab s2. please advice me what should be worth buying. tab s is available at low price with no less features and capablity but does it get the android update for 5.1 and will it be productive in future as it is already a year old model or should i go with new tab s2 and 4.3 ratio and screen resolution of 264 ppi will also be a good experience

Performance comparison
The new 9.7 is much better in performance coz of the better Exynos processor the earlier Tab S 10.5 does exhibit some UI lag at times.
