Bought a fender T bucket acoustic and a brand new battery for it. Left it plugged in not knowing it would kill the battery. Which is what led me to this video. And next to the new battery I'll have to go buy.
Wish I'd know sooner, but at least now I know why it happened.

I did not know that, I have an accoustic with a fishman type pickup and a guitar cable socket
I go through so many batteries (I buy cheap ones) as they run out so quickly
I try to turn my pickup off, but it is hard to remember, and hard to do.

With the guitar, when finished playing and put away, of you leave the cord plugged into the guitar but unplugged from amp/pedal, the circuit should be broken and not drain right? Why the F is my battery dying so damn fast? I unplug amp end only, can that be draining? Doesn’t make sense.
