Thanks, been doing that for years. Works like a charm, especially as my brain ages!
doesnt tell me which is the best type to buy
I used to use elixirs exclusively for years and years until the string started to fail namely the g-string break or they would come Unwound now I use cleartone I like them too
Yes, Cleartones are nice too!
Which guitar strings are your favorites? How do you track the strings' lifespan?
I just look on ebay listing when they were delivered to get a date
That's a good tip too, but it won't help if you buy more than one set at a time. Thanks for watching!
Elixir polywebs ( not nanowebs) last the longest IMO. Ive compared them to a number of brands. I write the date on the carton (face only) and put in the case. Still using strings from last July. Sound is subjective.
TREYSONZ Good points! Definitely subjective
TREYSONZ somehow the Elixir "other than nanoweb" strings don't get to sell in where I live. Perhaps because they last long?
Can you give an update of your guitar string, does it still not break??
Im tryin to find a very last long guitar string brand because my guitar string just break and I really really need help asap
I have found the Nanoweb strings last the longest for me. But that is referring to their life (brightness), not breakage. If you are breaking a lot of strings it could be an issue with the guitar. I had a guitar once that the g string kept breaking. Turned out to be a burr on the bridge that was causing it. So you may want to have it looked at. Is it usually the same string in the same place?
If you buy from Amazon, simply look under your former orders and see when and what you bought!
Good tip too, although that would only show when you purchased the strings, not when you put them on! (Especially if you bought multiple sets at once)
you guys exist to tell us which ones last longest... like wtf bru
exactly - title of video asks my question... proceeds to not answer the question at all... thankfully a short video and not a longer waste of time. I'm going to start asking questions in my video titles and not answering them at all, just tell my listeners to give me their answers... oh wait - isn't that called Reddit?
