      @@Studio33guitar Since 15 March this year - start of the semi-social isolation d/t Corona scare - I think tons of folks have taken up the guitar and other new hobbies. I've gained a huge respect for guitarists after learning the basic chords - hope you're getting more and more views for your efforts.

      Rick Martin Thank you! Yes I have noticed an increase in interest during Covid. Hopefully find some joy in playing guitar during this time. How do you feel your progress is going?

    Very helpful, now all I gotta do is keep trying to fix it (not always easy to actually do, even when i know I'm trying hard to get it right, frustrating)

      Hi Merrilyn! I know it's frustrating, but you are not alone. EVERYONE feels the frustration when they start. The important part is DON'T GIVE UP! You can do it!

      @@Studio33guitar aww thanks so much for the encouragement. Can string 3 or 4 chords together - G, E minor 7, C+9 & jus getting the hang of D, which I've found the hardest one (well sort of string them together anyway) but they don't sound right coz of finger placement etc but I'll keep trying hard & hopefully get them sorted before tackling how to put together any chords for a song (very scarey!)...one day, no rush I guess :)

    My mistakes are slow change chord and sound not clear

    Doing well on my chords except I’m struggling with that C major. Having trouble getting my fingers to make that stretch and keeping my tips on the A & D string. Making the stretch causes my fingers to go flat. Any tips?

      Hi Jim, Thanks for the comment (got your email too by the way). Have you tried playing the Cadd9 as an alternative to the C major? It is a much easier way to play it. You can see that on this video -

    when i am changing between two chord especially a barre chord while upstroking i am actually upstroking the open strings what to do? pls help sir😭

    • @Studio33guitar
      @Studio33guitar  4 года назад +1

      That's actually ok. Upstroking the open strings during a chord change can actually make the chord change sound smoother. It usually happens so quickly, it won't sound "off". I actually recommend it!
