Fun facts: Sebastian Bach is a HUGE Rush fan (he claims to be #2 on the Rush fan club)! And Rush has a killer Rush instrumental song called "The Main Monkey Business" off of their 18th studio album, "Snakes and Arrows" released in 2007.
Your girlfriend is so adorable! Her laughter after everything she says is so pure and wholesome! I recommend you to listen to Skid Row's ''Quicksand Jesus'', she will love it!
Accidentally saw your channel and reaction, good job! Fun fact - James Labrie from Dream Theater used to sing in a same band as Sebastian, after he left for Skid Row. The band was called Winter Rose and the “Saved by Love” is the song Skid Row hired him because of. You can check Winter Rose album (1989) with LaBrie, it’s a true gem in the same style with killer riffs and raspy high vocals. Best songs - Rough Boys, Never Let Me Go, Saved By Love. Good luck! 👍
Great intro to the Slave to the Grind album. But like others have stated, check out Wasted Time, Quicksand Jesus, or In a Darkened Room for even more impressive vocals from Sebastian. He was untouchable during that time period.
Just found you 2. Easy to remember your names since my name is Tim and I play guitar and have since the late 70s. 🤣🤟 Everything they ( Skid Row ) does is killer. They could write some killer songs, unlike many bands today I'm afraid to say. New bands can play, but they dont, or can't write catchy songs it seems to me. Can't wait to hear your other reviews. Very cool. You need to do " quick sand jesus" and "18 and life ", and many others by this band. !! Thanks again.
Great choice. I freaking love every song on this album. They have awesome ballads up to heavy songs as well. Sabastian is the best plus a great actor . Plus he fer formed on broadway. May I suggest slave to the grind. Mt fav. Thanks guys. Great reaction.
I love every song on this album as well.. even beggars day which was added in the US instead of Get the F*uck out... Beggers day is one of my favorites on the album really.
The album "Slave to the Grind" is probably one of the best overall "metal" albums of the early 90s. It's meticulously recorded, with tons of professional (high-dollar) production. Many of the songs carry complex, meaningful lyrics with sweeping, "take you away" arcs. It's unfortunate, though, that this was the zenith of Skid Row's career. This CD came out when I was in my early 20s, and given what they did with this album, I was very, very excited to see where they would go from here. Unfortunately, tensions within the band meant they would never recapture the truly epic glory that is frozen in time with this recording, which still stands up some 30 years on.
Less than :20 in, a Skidrow fan since their first album release, and I think this is a great choice! Edit: Great review and it's nice to get another perspective on how different people view any particular band, especially ones I like. Other than the guitar solos, I never really paid much attention to the background riffs so enjoyed that perspective. I honestly felt towards the end of the song that we were one epic riff away from clothes flying off and this turning into a private PH session! Awesome to see young people discussing and enjoying music I was listening to at release, sitting on the roof of a dilapidated 2 story house, smokin' it up with my roommate! Enjoy your Skid Row journey, it's short but intense....
The music video is sooo much better than just staring at the album cover. The build up especially with Sebastian Bach and those leather pants are definitely eye candy. I love that video. He is just the most amazing looking guy ever.
Their official video to this song is the greatest rock video OF ALL TIME. Sebastian was the sexiest hottest most amazing frontman ever. Beautiful man. Voice like none other.
Awesome intro to Skid Row Sebastian Bach the lead singer is awesome!! He was classically trained and went on to do 4 shows on Broadway Not 2 mention his own albums..
Great song and reaction. Love Skid Row. Next up you should do Quicksand Jesus or In A Darkened Room. Also, for new band recommendations, I'm cross posting this comment from your Discussion board: Recommend you try going down the Japanese female rock/metal rabbit hole, starting with Band Maid (hard rock) and Lovebites (power/heavy metal). Crazy talent and a lot of fun, plus the views they generate from the YT fan armies will definitely help grow the channel (especially Band Maid). And these aren't like Baby Metal -- singers with a backing band -- they are the band (though Baby Metal can be good too and would definitely bring in views). Band-Maid sings mostly in Japanese with a bit of English, while Lovebites sing in English (though her voice/pronunciation takes some getting used to). Band-Maid is great live but try reacting to some of their MVs first. Some good examples: Blooming - ruclips.net/video/uUt_JBMocKM/видео.html Dice - ruclips.net/video/ZpAYnVJX9CY/видео.html Daydreaming (power ballad) - ruclips.net/video/RCaeUkrItyY/видео.html Live: (unfortunately a lot of great live versions of songs have recently been deleted by YT since the band just released a new concert Bluray) Domination - ruclips.net/video/QbyQCJn6rYg/видео.html (from above mentioned concert) Onset (instrumental) - ruclips.net/video/mVrN-j_Uc0U/видео.html Lovebites: When Destinies Align - ruclips.net/video/hLFelI93VkM/видео.html Hammer of Wrath - ruclips.net/video/SDkpcklxMkk/видео.html Enjoy!
The first time I heard this song, I hated it because the riff seemed very similar to Paradise City from Guns n Roses, but then I bought the album and Skid Row is one of my favorite bands of all time.
Tim I have a huge request .i have a fender strat use a Marshall dsl 40 pedal wise I only have a strymon big sky and a boss did 500. If you love killer riffs check out the band, Crowbar... Or Bolt Thrower, the whole IVth Crusade album. It's death metal, but they have some of the "grooviest" riffs.
1:43 I believe the word you're looking for is "bluesy". You really need to watch the official video so Kimmy can gaze upon Sebastian's loveliness--one of God's most beautiful creations.
Thank you so much for not covering anymore of those damn ballads that's all anybody reviews from a band that kicked so much ass try piece of me that was the first song ever heard of by these guys
Great song..and I agree im a total sucker for guitar. Check out some Ratt. Warren DeMartini is insane with his solos..and the underlying guitar riffs are really good.
ruclips.net/video/IyimwxCcM-k/видео.html even if you don't react to this one, at least listen to it. You won't be disappointed. If you like riffs: Ratt-Lay it Down, Dokken-Jaded Heart, Whitesnake-Still of the Night, Kingdom Come-Get It On, Ozzy-Bark at the Moon, Motley Crue-Power to the Music, Mötley Crüe-Wild Side... and some instrumental ear candy for Tim: Dokken-Mr. Scary, Shotgun Messiah-The Explorer
@@OutLoudStudios Also listen to Talisman-Mysterious (Jeff Scott Soto is the singer. The drummer went on to be the lead singer of the band The Poodles... another band you need to check out.
Skid Row's first album was good, but this one was just better, starting with the title track. Sebastian Bach was always one of my favorite singers from this era.
Please review a song by Guitar/Vocal God - Ian Thornley (Big Wreck - The Oaf (LIVE at the Suhr Factory Party 2015)) Me thinks you'll like it! I'm a lifelong Rush fan and put Thornley on the same level of musicianship as the guys in Rush. Another fabulous Canadian Secret.
I'm not sure what you guys know but seeing you love this track I would highly recommend digging into some extreme they've got to killer tracks that are very similar check out Cupid's dead, rest in peace, and pornograffiti. So far I can tell that you guys have very similar music tastes because I love queensryche Def Leppard Rush skid row so you will definitely love extreme period another thing to check out extremes lead singer was the third singer of Van Halen and they did a cut that was amazing called fire in the hole that is a must hear!!!!
If you love guitar riffs then you should listened to pantera any song Dimebag Darrell is a true god on the guitar. As for voices Sebastian Bach has the best voice in the song wasted time by skid row it really shows his range as a vocalist.
You can’t touch Sebastian Bach, for attitude, power, and looks as a singer. He’s the whole package.
Skid row at this point were unstoppable world beaters, shit, what could have been.... 🤘🤘🤘🤘😢
Have to do "wasted time" skid row
This was a Great Skid Row song to start off the journey.
YOu need to hear Wasted Time for sure.. Sebastian's voice is kick ass in that one!!
This song is what sparked my love of metal.
this song kicks so much ass all over the place
I love this album. The title track is kickin! Cool reaction.

You should review Wasted Time. His vocals are amazing on that one.

I love this song, it’s one of those songs you have to headbang and dance to
If you wanna hear Bas sing try "In a darkened room".
This is without question their heaviest jam.
Just found you 2. Easy to remember your names since my name is Tim and I play guitar and have since the late 70s. 🤣🤟

“Piece of Me” also has an awesome riff. Welcome to the era of the glam metal hair bands!! So many killer groups!
If she likes the way he sings wait till she sees what he looked like at 24 years oldZ 😂
Truth. He should have shown her the official video. Sebastian in that one still makes me weak. Breakin Down video is breathtaking too.
You have to come back and do skidrow wasted time. Vocals are amazing and guitar work kicks ass. Please do wasted time soon
It's all soft in the beginning and gets you all warm and fuzzy just before it explodes and busts you in the face with a 10lb. sledgehammer! 💥🤘🤯🤘💥

One of the best voices in the biz!
John Sykes wrote all of the Guitars for this and most of there best stuff! Killer Guitarist and Lyricits! He also was in Blue Murder!
