@@SpraYeRS77there is a huge difference between 90Hz and 120Hz for sports games like Tennis. After playing at 120Hz and then go back to 90Hz for testing it feels like a Buster Keaton movie. Just tried this over at a friend's place. Their Son received one for Christmas and let me try it. I did not want to take it off my head. 😂 It was so awesome! I'm waiting for the price to drop a bit here in Canada and pick one up for myself. My mind was blown from experiencing this unit.
Yeah only 128 gb is 650$ no tax with tax it’s 700$ I know because I got it for my birthday it’s very good and if u want you can get gorilla tag for free it’s like a free workout while playing

Hi from Singapore! Just got my Quest 3 yesterday. I wouldn't have known about the swipe typing if I hadn't watched your video. I'm used to swipe typing on my phone as well. Thank you so much for sharing!
I am also one who uses swiping on my phone. I’ve used it since 2016! Although I’ve noticed once i updated from my iPhone 5 to my iPhone 11 the phone chooses wrong words constantly and i spend half of my time deleting words. I hope this is fixed in newer iPhones. Also an annoyance is that I’ll be typing a sentence using swipe and it will create the correct word but the when i swipe my next word it changes the previous word to something else! It’s really frustrating. But swipe is otherwise much quicker and people are always asking me how i type like that, but i love it! ✌️😎
Find a 3rd party keyboard that uses swipe. If there's a version of the Google keyboard in Apple's market try that. Samsung is the same way the newer phones have a crappy swipe but Google's seems much better.
Good tips. That said 120 hz was on by default for me, so I turned it off to save power (I'm one of those people that don't see much difference between 72 and 90 even, lucky me I guess)

Makes it extremely hard for Apple to justify $3000 more for the vision pro. Even when compared to the quest pro the vision pro is tailored to the owners ipd while the quest pro uses the eye tracking to automatically adjust the ipd for each user and it's still $2500 less then the vision pro. I don't know how Apple thinks they can come into the game this late with that kind of price tag and no controllers included or that you can even get which is another set of limitations all together.
Nice video. I have one question I can’t seem to find an answer. Can you anchor the web browser to move with you in your house? Say you’re watching a RUclips video and you get up and move. Can you make it move with you? It just stays where I put it. Only way I can get it to move with me is i constantly hold the side where the outline is around the window.
The mixed reality stuff was a lot more fun than I expected. I think PSVR2 dropped the ball in this aspect. I think I'll wait for the Snapdragon X chipset as that will compete with Apple M2 which is a great deal more powerful.
Yeah, I really wanted a PSVR2 and I think Sony like Valve bet on AAA VR and that hasn't panned out at all. PSVR2 should have been like the Quest 3 but with the ability to go wired with a PS5 for those few AAA games. I'm concerned Sony will try some hack solution to bring the PSVR2 in line with Quest 3 with a battery add-on and wireless adapter and it will just be a mess. But at the same time they won't want to make a new headset as that will annoy their current base. I think Sony might just let the PSVR2 fade away as no one is going to wait another 6 years for them to get in the right direction. The only thing that could change this would be for Sony to hit PSVR2 hard with game changing AAA games on a consistent basis and I don't see that happening either.@@faceofthemoment4571

I really don't like the auto swap to hand tracking. I find it swaps to hand tracking if I move the controller too fast or if it in anyway goes out of the range of the cameras, I find that with auto on I am constantly wrestling for control of the headset as it swaps between controllers and the hand tracking incessantly. Turn off notifications when in VR is another one, Nothing worse than when you are really immersed in a vr game and it pops up every few minutes saying hand tracking may not work as room is too dark.
Several of the options you showed are not available on my Q3 I just purchased last night. Says there aren't any updates available so I guess I'm on the most current version. Excellent video. Super informative
Thank you so much very helpful video ❤
Adorable, thanks for the tips. I just git the MQ3 the other day and I'm loving it. I have a question, I ordered a cat 8 (I think) ethernet cable for my PC to my Router, does everyone else do this? Or do peiole just use wifi? I cant wait to play Alyx and looking for reccomendations for a fun FPS and a fun flight sim. Anyone?
I’m very new to meta quest and everything. And I made my avatar and that. But certain games my best friend told me she can use her meta quest avatar in such as Vegas infinite and ping pong vr. And she can use her meta quest avatar for all those games. But those games do not give me the option to use my meta quest avatar. How do I fix this or so I can use my meta quest avatar? I made him really cool and want to use mine like she did
FYI - I just got a Quest 3 and it came with OS v67 - some of the options mentioned here don’t seem to exist, as far as I can find, in v67
Good to know thanks 4 the video. It helpt me , 😊
My room setup doesn't allow any shapes with more than 4 corners, but my room has 5 corners and multiple closets, so i need way more than 5 corners for my room setup. Any tips?
You can actually add as many as you want.
@@grey_north9016 thank you, how should I add a corner during the room setup?
Thank you for the tips.
Nice tips & tricks. Also would be nice if you use Image stabilization that jumping video is hard to watch😉
is there a way to use it while you lay down
I just bought the Quest 3 and don't have the option in Display for 120Hz refresh rate. Am I weird?
Thnx Lady T, very informative, got mine 3 days ago....NICE!

9:05 - Thanks for pointing out that great privacy feature reminder!
Is there a way to record VR with expanded FOV and higher resolution if capturing the video from the PC?
How do you have your Quest 3 audio setup with the Rodecaster Duo?
Hadn't considered the privacy settings... I better do that now! 😳
I have the habit of accidentally taking photos and videos on Quest 3. Is there a way to change the controls or disable taking pictures and videos all together? And can people see the ones you take?
I think the new update 67 got rid of the 120Hz option. I didn’t see the option for it.
The first tip doesn't exist anymore in the display menu
Beautiful voice you have, nice video to help out with quest 3
Where's the motion stability setting? Please enable it.
thank you for doing giveaways I can't wait for the next one😊
Turn off notifications when in VR is another one, Nothing worse than when you are really immersed in a vr game and it pops up every few minutes saying hand tracking may not work as room is too dark.
Several of the options you showed are not available on my Q3 I just purchased last night. Says there aren't any updates available so I guess I'm on the most current version. Things like adjusting the contrast, swipe typing, etc. Also, your computer screens are very clear but mine are very grainy...I could watch your video but not see the words well enough through the pass through. Room is very bright.
Some very useful tips. Thanks for sharing.
I have Quest 3 but the display setup dont show the 120hz there is only Night Vision on or off setup in mine.. what is this
The 120hz option isn't there only night display
Thats help me a lot 😊
How is your room so clear and everything, when I look around my living room everything is so grainy and does not look nearly like that. I got it yesterday is it defective?
I read in another video that when looking a video of someone’s pass through, it is clear. Nothing is wrong with yours.
