Sadly the video does not say at which point of the setup process you should accept the referal code or how its done. Bevore or after you downloaded the meta app or on which device you should accept the referal code, while at your PC or smartphone or even inside the meta quest 3 browser?

there are videos that are made for meta quest which I guess you could call 3d . But if you watch anything like netflix on it , it will just be like watching it on a big screen, thats all
@@TechandDesign There are many ways to view 3D movies in VR, You can buy them outright, or you can rip 3D blurays or stream the 3D blurays right from your player, if you're using a PC with an external bluray player. Do a google search for the possible options. Only 3D videos will play in 3D on your Quest 3.

This setup is painful! No contact number for support. I can’t get past creating a user name! Put in email sends code but won’t let me get past the user name setup. It won’t even give a suggestion?!?

meta quest is owned by a company called "meta" which is "facebook". So everything will be just easier is you use facebook. I personally made a new account on facebook to setup my meta quest but thats because I didnt want it to be linked to the facebook account I currently have. Anyways, even if you dont do it the "facebook" way, you will have to create a "meta" account.
so , you can use your hands to do a lot but when you get into a game you will have to use the controllers and you will see a screen that says that. again - that will depend on the game as updates happen and the developers might let people just use their hands

why on earth does my code not show up ive done this alot of times but the only screen that shows is the "pair device with meta quest" the code doesnt show help fun fact ive left my meta quest for a few days and the updates arent updating and yes i did watch the full video and i charged it
Dont be like me with the depth adjustment and just rip the whole plastic piece out. Just got this for my son for his birthday. It's cool. But absolutely not worth $500 imo. Definitely wish i would have bought a series x instead.

Any firmware updates for the device or any devices (such as mobile phones, tablets, laptops, etc.) need to be plugged in at all times and should never be unplugged. If you accidentally unplug it, your device may be affected. However, software updates can be installed without being plugged in.

@jfuentes381 yes, you need the controllers. It does not work with the motion of your fingers/hand.
